Street Tacos Al Vapor

This tortas is honestly the best torta I've ever had and I'm a bean! It was a carne asada, got some tacos de lengua, pretty good but I really love the torta. Really recommend this place!

2024-11-29. Street Tacos Al Vapor. Las Vegas, NV.Street Tacos Al Vapor is a food truck. There are two of them; one in the north end on W. Centennial Parkway, and the other in the south end on W. Cactus Ave.We visited the South location because we happened to be in the area. This food truck is stationed in the corner of a Shell Gas Station. They have a very small makeshift drive-thru set up using pylons/cones. You pull into the makeshift lanes and the attendant will come up to you and take your order. If you're not familiar with the menu, they have laminated ones. They accept both cash and card, and the only form of receipt is via text (if you pay by card).The food is made to order and the attendant will bring it out to you.I'm a big fan of Queso Birria tacos and am always in search of the best. Whenever I visit any of the southern states, I always make an extra effort to find a place that serves them. The Queso Birria tacos here are the most expensive I've had a $4.50 (a la carte) and they don't come with consomé which is an extra $2.50 (8oz). That makes a typical 3 Queso Birria Tacos with consomé meal $16.00! We ate the tacos immediately in the parking lot after pulling into one of the shell station parking spots adjacent to the building. Sadly, the birria tacos were not better than the ones we had in Texas. The flavor of the birria tacos had the right flavor, but the meat wasn't as tender. The queso was also a little lacking as the cheese pull was also not as good. Lastly, the consomé was decent, but not as flavorful.Overall, I opted for Street Tacos Al Vapor because it was really highly rated when I did a quick internet search of Birria in the area. I didn't come here with any expectations really, so I don't think it was overhyped and under-delivered. It's just in comparison with other places I've had them. The menu does not show the current prices of their food. All items are 1-2 dollars more than what the menu shows. I ordered multiple items at this visit and when I did the mental math as to what my total should have been it was a bit off from the price I was told from the cashier. So I payed and then asked for a receipt to be emailed to me. After reviewing the email not one single item was correctly priced. It would be great for customers to know exactly what they're paying for without any price secret price increases please fix this.

This is one of the BEST Mexican food I've had in years!!! I absolutely love everything they offer! I have tried their burritos, tacos, biirria and quesadillas ...no matter what you order, you can't go wrong!

The best tacos and salsa verde I've ever had! Their aguas frescas are also really good. I'm excited about their restaurant that'll be opening soon.

I'd give this place 100 stars if I could. This has become my all time favorite food truck of Las Vegas, not only because they have the best birria and chicken mulitas in town but also because of their outstanding customer service. I've posted my review on Google but not sure why it took me so long to post them here. First, it's not your average food truck. Best part of this place is that you get to sit in the comfort of your car while they come to you and take your order. Every single employee has always been very friendly and patient while you look at the menu and place your order. We always order chicken mulitas, queso birrias, chicken and adobada tacos and their consome. Their chicken is unlike any other chicken you'll find anywhere else - I promise you! It is simmered in a green sauce until tender and cooked to perfection. Their adoba is a marinated steak that remind me of Al pastor but without the sweetness of the clove. Their burria is super tender and juice and has the perfect amount of cheese. The consome is also very tasty and a must dip with your Birria and even any meat tacos. They give you complimentary colorful chips and out the cilantro and onion on the side which allows you to fix it to your liking. I can see why this place is expanding so quickly. They truly are the best and it shows in the amount of time and love they put into their food. Their aguas frescas are also the perfect refresher. My only feedback is that like most restaurants, they give you the consome as a complimentary item when ordering birria. This place is a must try.

I had the Adobada tacos. They were just okay, meat was a little chewy/greasy and they were also REALLY small. Also they're about 50 cents more expensive than the going rate for street tacos here in Vegas. Probably wouldn't come here again unless I was hungry and it was the only taco place nearby.

Food is always so good! Been coming to them since they were over on Ann and North 5th!

Great food. I love the tacos and mulitas! They are open late which is perfect for me.
