I was over by this Starbucks the other day to check out the new Smith's Marketplace & I have a mug I bought @ another Starbucks location that I wanted to return so I had to go inside. I was greeted upon arrival & had to wait a minute or two before someone came to the counter & wanted to take my order. I asked the girl if I could return my mug that I bought @ a Starbucks inside Resort World & was told no. Unfortunately I have to go back to that location....bummer & PIB. Something to do with corporate. Store looked nice & clean. There was a few customers sitting inside the & their drive thru was busy.

2/21/25 8:34pm we went to this location and they said, "oh sorry we' closed early"... We continue to run into issues at this location from them closing early to them not having iced coffee at a COFFEE SHOP! They LOVE to close early. Seems like they close whenever they feel like and the hours posted are just a formality. I wish I had the dates and times of when they've done this before. So frustrating. Ended up going to Dutch Bros

Rachel and the crew made this "set to be a record-breaking July Sunday"a little cooler when I got my morning fix! The drive-thru is always speedy and I enjoyed the chitchat while I waited for the breakfast sandwiches for my girls! I know front-facing jobs aren't easy nowadays and high temps can make folks snarky, but it was nice to enjoy some laughs and a smile. Kindness is free!

The squad at this location are TOP NOTCH! From start to finish this is how baristas all over should operate. Acknowledgement of each guest that walks through the door by name, if it's a guest they're unfamiliar with they still deliver the "Hi, be right with you." "Good Morning!" With enthusiasm to each guest. Just WOW FACTOR all over. Kudos to this team. Oh & not to forget, my Lavender Oatmilk Latte was made to perfection! Although I went old school & ordered from the counter (instead of ordering through app, like the "regulars") they were efficient and on point. Music was at expected level, and they kept periodically doing dining room checks. (Pushing chair back in, trash, etc) this was at 6am mind you.. GREAT JOB, whole squad!! :)

This is an awesome Starbucks! Not too far from Coral Academy either. They have that double line you see at Dutch too. It went by pretty fast.

Very friendly people and extremely fast in their service. I order my usual white chocolate mucha frappachino with a squirt of peppermint. Yummy . I also got a cheese danish. The ambiance is typical of most Starbucks.

Heads up: Google Maps has two locations listed for this Starbucks: 845 E Lake Mead Pkwy and 835 E Lake Mead Pkwy. Only the second one (835) is correct. Yelp! also has the same problem. Two listings for the same Starbucks. I'm told they're fixing it as we speak (Google and Yelp!) so by the time someone else reads this review, this may be fixed. So, to get here, when you see Smith's (a grocery store), this Starbucks is at the end of their parking lot. So this Starbucks is actually at the crossroads of Warm Springs and Lake Mead. The staff is good, coffee is too. Nice people! NOTE:One unfortunate, giant problem with the dining area....is that there is a NOTICEABLE, strong off-gassing of their brand new furniture. It's all pressed wood furniture.VOCs, that is what is being given off. And the VOC that is present: formaldehyde. And formaldehyde is *carcinogenic.* It causes cancer. When I walked in, I smelled formaldehyde immediately. It's not a faint odor -- it is heavy, and VERY distinct.Once you smell formaldehyde, you never forget what it smells like. You may be familiar with it from the odor you smelled when you and your lab partner dissected a fetal pig in High School. Remember that smell...? That's formaldehyde. At first, I thought it might be a cleaner they used. So I asked the Staff what they used to clean with, and it wasn't filled with formaldehyde. Which of course makes sense; formaldehyde is not a cleaning product. I couldn't imagine why else I was smelling formaldehyde though, so that was my first guess. Then, I turned around and walked towards the furniture....aaaand the smell only got stronger. Way stronger. So that's where the smell was coming from -- mystery solved. The furniture is giving off tons of VOCs. Specifically, VOCs from formaldehyde. Note: pressed wood products frequently are made with formaldehyde. And as a result, they come with Prop 65 Warnings....because formaldehyde is carcinogenic. For those who are unaware, Prop 65 Warnings are placed on items that exceed safety standards. Astoundingly, due to a loophole, manufacturers are allowed to sell you toxic items "as long as they tell the public" that their item is toxic. Disturbing, to say the least!And....there's *a lot* of that furniture in that small, enclosed space. A lot. The Workers are who I worry about most here -- they cannot escape the formaldehyde VOCs. And since formaldehyde is carcinogenic, Starbucks is putting the health and the very lives of its Workers at risk. All to save a penny or two on their furniture expense.Starbucks may save a penny or two now, but a Class Action lawsuit from their Workers who have their health irreparably damaged would be a much, much larger bill.Formaldehyde is *proven* to cause cancer. So there is no truly safe level of formaldehyde; it always causes problems. The only way to limit its damage is through limiting your exposure to it.Always remember: formaldehyde is not just used in making furniture. It is used in laboratories to preserve the bodies of dead animals. It preserves formerly living things (dead human bodies, too).Know that headache, nausea, and feeling like my lungs were burning...was what I felt within a short time of standing there. Not a good feeling. So, I personally recommend the drive-thru -- but AVOID the inside!Hey Starbucks, are you listening? Your **DISASTROUS** furniture choice is a problem. You're harming your Workers and your Patrons with that furniture! Shame on you!! Truly disappointed. So I'm giving 1 star because Starbucks needs to take notice -- and fix this issue. **Immediately.**Those poor Workers!!
