Southern Highlands Golf Club

I was invited to the Golf Club for Sunday breakfast, and it was so beautiful! I drove up to valet and they brought my car and didn't even give me a ticket (this how you know it's fancy!). The views were spectacular from the second floor overlooking the golf course and in the distance The Strip. We got there at 10am and it wasn't crowded, and were able to have a meeting in a comfortable and quiet setting. It got busy towards the end of our meeting, but nonetheless the food was delicious- I had the Eggs Benedict, and fruits. On my way out I passed the most beautiful cherry Blossom trees, see photos. I'd definitely come here again! Happy Eats

Wowza! A beautiful private country club. I attended a nice lunch event here. Great service, delicious food, and a lovely setting! Carved roast beef, ham, and chicken for a sandwich bar. Potato and pasta salads completed the plate.

Excellent customer service all the way around and the views are just lovely. Valet parking is available right when you pull up and there is a no mobile phone rule when entering the clubhouse. You have to plan months in advance for any catering service at the Clubhouse, but their coordinator, Millie, is excellent in helping you do so. They have an excellent wait staff who are friendly and professional. All of the venues are kept clean and up to date. The valet personnel are exceptional as well. Always with a smile, they make you feel right at home. The food is also well prerpared. There hasn't been anything I didn't like and the prices are very reasonable. The French toast with drag strawberries is solid. The burgers are juicy and you should give the Ahi lettuce cups a try. Classy establishment with a classy staff. Highly recommend.

Lovely golf club! We stopped by for breakfast here. We were quite a large group of 8 people, so we sat in the wine room around a very large, round table. Large windows with natural light coming in, it was a great ambiance!The only negative thing I would say is that our waitress took a very long time to get our drinks out. We understand we were a large group, however. I got the garden omelet because I wanted avocados. The menu had noted that it came with a side of fruit, but that was not the case. However, I ordered the granola parfait, which came with berries, so I was happy about that. I also had some of my friend's waffle - also very delicious! And they had my earl grey turned into london fog with milk and honey! Great breakfast items all around!

This place is absolutely, positively STUNNING! I can't complain at all. The golf course is breath taking as is the venue. Oh and the food I choked down on (I was there for a wedding) was VERY TASTY too! Now I did stay in a cottage next to the club for a few days while visiting and while they were very nice (and smelled sickeningly strong like fabreeze, ha... I'm still not sure if I liked that or not).... They were a tiny bit dirty when we arrived. Even after the people who come to clean, cleaned our cottage every day when we weren't there... They continued to miss the most obvious dirty spots. Oh well, for the most part, the cottage was still very clean.One other thing that bugged me was HOW LOUD THE SHEETS AND COMFORTER ARE. THEY CRINKLE EVERY TIME YOU MOVE- so I ALWAYS FELT LIKE I WAS WAKING UP MY HUSBAND EVERY TIME I READJUSTED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. OH AND THE PILLOWS ARE WAYYYYY TO HARD FOR MY LIKING (however my husband liked them). This all being said, I would certainly stay in a cottage again, even knowing the negative aspects!

I played a round with a member that made racist Asian jokes the entire time. I haven't experienced anything like it in a very long time. I would hope he doesn't represent the entire membership.

Beyond spectacular course, the condition of each and every hole was spectacular as was the staff. Had the pleasure of having a caddy named Chad, he was excellent, knew the course well, and was great at fitting into the group. please pass along our appreciation to him!!I play a ton of events for work, and play a lot of golf personally, this was one of if not the best events and courses I have played, certainly the best course (my opinion) in Las Vegas area!!As others have said they traps need a little love, but apparently they are doing this right now, and was fortunate to not been the bunkers too much :) saw one of the redone traps and it looked fantastic!!Would be honored to play this course anytime I can!!!Have a great deal of photos, hopefully I can post them.

Everything about this club is beautiful. The minute you drive through the gates you are surrounded by beauty. The lush landscaping with all the water features immediately calms the senses. The clubhouse is beautiful and they continue to upgrade and remodel. I understand they are adding another bar outside this year. The event rooms are all different and each one has its own charm. It makes you want to plan parties for all different occasions. My husband holds his board meeting there and everyone compliments the food and the service. The main restaurant also has excellent service. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes. The golf course is exceptional as is the beautiful spa. The spa menu has great treatments and I love the gym. They offer lots of classes. Yoga and Pilates are my favorite. There is nothing like this club anywhere in Las Vegas.

I played Southern Highlands Golf Club while attending a RiteAid golf charity tournament - LUCKY ME! The staff was all amazing in every aspect, the course requires that you play with a caddy, and my looper was Brad - he was AWESOME. Brad had all the course knowledge one could hope for, he easily shaved 5+ strokes off our team score based on his course insights.Most important, the course is impeccably manicured, and was in perfect condition. I can only imagine that as the heat comes, the course starts to 'wilt'. In this case, it was April, and the course looked beautify. I found every aspect of my golf experience to be exceptional. Southern Highlands has lots of water, which my team avoided, but appreciated. I can only hope to play here again. The course has several signature holes.

Simply amazing. East Coast golf in the desert. What an awesome location to host an event. Couldn't have asked for better. Hats off to the entire team. Especially our fore caddy Ryan!
