It's convenient if you need something like a $3 bottle of Diet Pepsi (no Coke products) and super convenient if you want junk, which is 80% of the store.Remember, when you find out your milk is spoiled (mine questionably had the expiration date of October for milk bought in August), they won't refund it unless you bring back the spoiled milk. If you see a guy at the blackjack table holding half of a bottle of spoiled milk, you'll know it's me, obeying their policy, traversing the casino with a bright orange plastic bottle full of stinky toxic milk.

They have a very good selection of wines . We had gone to eat at the Sunset Station Oyster Bar and he had the Story Point Cabernet which was very good . The South Point gift shop is the only place in town that carried it and at a good price .

I would not go out of my way to shop here. This little shop is located inside the South Point Hotel and Casino. It is very convenient to stop in here only when you're at the South Point. They carry just about everything you need. The prices aren't too bad either. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Everytime we stay at the South Point, we will stop by here for something. If you're a hotel guest, and they give you a savings book. Make sure you stop in here to claim a little souvenir from the gift shop. The last couple of times they've given a useful key chain with the South Point name on it.

This gift shop has a small inventory of liquor with pretty good prices. I also frequent it for sundry items and the morning newspaper.

***This gift shop at South Point Hotel & Casino is your standard hotel gift shop in terms of selection (toiletries, over-the-counter medicine, snacks, souvenirs, etc.), but their prices were significantly less expensive than the gift shops I've visited in Phoenix and Las Vegas recently***I wanted to pick up a Las Vegas refrigerator magnet before heading back to Los Angeles and found a good one here that was very iconic (the Las Vegas sign); the magnet also featured hooks for key chains and such. The magnet was $4, which was less than the $6-$8 magnets I've seen in other cities like Phoenix.I also picked up a bag of red licorice. It was the Aussie style red licorice (a generic brand) The licorice had that Aussie feel to it--rich, sweet and chewy. The licorice was not stale either and it was only $2 for a decent sized bag.Service was quick and friendly.Gift shops (hotels, casinos, stadiums, etc.) tend to be overpriced and feature a lot of stuff you don't need. In terms of South Point's gift shop, they definitely had a fair share of stuff you wouldn't need, but their prices were better than most, which makes this a better-than-average hotel gift shop.South Point Hotel & Casino has free parking (both an open lot and a structure).

Hi, I've been coming here for many years and have been satisfied but recently I bought a phone charger and it isn't even working one week later, it's says it's made by fifo. I don't know if this is a new company but I've never seen it and all of the chargers I've ever bought here worked fine. Would you mind going back to your old company for chargers, thanks

I know people like to comment on the liquor prices located in this gift shop & how great they are; I wouldn't know. I do want to comment on the gift shop overall, because I see & hear people comment on things 'not generally needed.' This is actually an amazing gift shop--not at all your run-of-the mill VEGAS gift shop. Yes it has your typical sundries, but, because of the type of casino this facility is, the shop makes PERFECT sense!! As I understand it, it is the only Equestrian Casino in the US, and likes to show its Western flair (probably thanks to the Buyer, whose name I can't recall right now, and, is apparently, well-known??). It has wonderful gifts to accommodate many tastes from amazing jewelry, watches, wallets, purses, clothes, kitchenware & home decor (my guess is for those partaking in multiple Equestrian events, that can't get away, or those first timers who want something to remember their time here). Not to mention toys, candles, and some humorous items of interest. Bottom line, you may not need the items, but for those visiting/partaking in equestrian events, National bowling tours, Cheerleading championships, BMX competitions, various symposiums, and a vast array of business & technologies events, the shop is anything but 'GENERAL.' As a new local, I personally see it in people's faces. Come see for yourself.
