The cutting show is a great place to see real cowboys and cowgirls up close, in color and at work! The show was spectacular and we really enjoyed watching the talented horses and their riders. All the ambiance of a rodeo, in a nicely appointed arena --in a casino! We rooted for our favorites and enjoyed walking around looking at all the western bling for sale too! Don't miss out on a special purchases of the South Point's own embroidered western style vest! Way cool!!

I'm surprised a lot of people don't realize a arena is connected to the casino and has lots of free events through out the year. Examples are rodeos, archery, dressage, basketball ect, o always stop and see what's going on.

Attended a portion of the Horseback shooting competition. Very delightful experience ! Cowgirls and cowboys competing while riding horses shooting balloons as fast as they can through a obstacle course. Vendors were set up in the lobby to the Arena selling cowboy hats, clothing, boots, belt buckles, turquoise and more. The arena was clean, comfortable, good air flow and lighting.

Absolutely love this place and so happy it's back open after Covid. A lot of their events are free and there's a ton of room to space out if you feel the need. I come for the horses, (The Gladius Show was amazing) the barrel racing, rodeos, bull riders, hunter jumpers, quarter horses, cutting horses, cattle sorting, etc. The concessions and restaurant make it easy to spend a good amount of time in there while being comfortable. You can also walk over to the Priefert Pavilion for a change of scenery to watch riders warm up. I see complaints on food prices and the TV quality in older reviews but honestly with so many free events I don't mind the prices. Most entertainment venues have high priced concessions anyway. And there's so much opportunity to get very close to the event I never find myself relying on the screen. I'm wondering if things have changed since the review complaining about it being hot? I like to come here over Horseman's Park because it's indoors and usually a good temperature in my opinion. Especially for the summer, this is the best place for a comfortable rodeo. Would recommend for the equine enthusiast for sure.

Came to watch the gorman, findlay prep game and liked some things, hatred others. ProsBathrooms, super cleanCool little restaurant/bar at one side of arena that u can watch through the glassNot really a bad seat in the houseDecent sound systemConsHot hot hot....i know its expensive to keep a mild temperature, but myself and many peiple were dying.Lighting is pretty dim. Should be much lighter especially to watch a basketball gameConcessions are very expensive, $3.00 for a baseline hot dog, come on.....The big score board in the center..THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST......i kean tue pocture quality resembled a tv from the 60s, just grainey and awful.Rude vendorsExpensive ticket entey, $15 for a high school basjetball game, hell no. The orleans arena is much better, more professional, the south point is like a grungy arena, should hold riller ball and weak 70s concerts here
