Amazing soul food! Here on New Years Day so needed my pork, cabbage, and blacked eyed peas! All were amazing! Got the Mac n cheese and cornbread too! The lady that helped us was hustling taking phone orders but still got us all taken care of efficiently and was friendly! Would definitely frequent often if I lived in Vegas!

The food serving came hot and the portion was nicely sized. I had the grilled chicken with yams and collard greens lunch; everything was perfectly seasoned that I didn't need to add anything

I went to the Soul Food Cafe on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a catfish plate with yams, double macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and cornbread, and the price came out to an expensive 32 dollars and change. I noticed the price on the food plates jumped drastically after 3 pm, and the difference between a lunch and dinner plate is that the lunch comes with two sides instead of three. The customer service from the employees needs work as I didn't receive a greeting, and the employees had a going-through-the-motions attitude. When I received my to-go plate, I said, " Thank you."The lady replied, " Uh huh," instead of the customer-friendly response, " You're Welcome." The food I ordered was basic and did not impress me at all. The mac and cheese had what looked like gobs of sliced cheddar cheese melted on top and did not move my taste buds; I love mac and cheese, so it takes a lot of work for me not to like mac and cheese, and that was the worse I ever tasted from a restaurant. The yams were comparable to something from a can; the potato salad and catfish were regular. The pancake-style cornbread was the best part of the meal, but even that tasted ordinary compared to other soul food restaurants. Honestly, the highlight of my visit consisted of the picture wall; they had many pictures of celebrities who had stopped by over the years, and I found that interesting. If only my taste buds had found the food as captivating as my eyes had found the pictures on the wall. Based on the food quality and the high cost, I wouldn't return. There are soul food restaurants in Las Vegas where you can consume succulent food and pay substantially less.

Highly recommended! Food was made fresh and served hot off the stove. This is definitely REAL soul food. Everything was absolutely delicious This is definitely Texas style southern cooking. Red beans and rice have the perfect amount of spice. The chicken was fried to perfection! Great service, the owner is friendly and personable. Plenty of seating. We will definitely be back.

THIS is very soulful soul food. Generous portions in atmosphere that is almost tacky. This is the 3rd visit in 5 weeks & we live 55 miles away; that should speak volumes about the food. Corn bread, ribs, chicken & collard greens & red beans with rice are all very satisfying

I've been to many soul food places around the country and this is by far the worst! The food was super salty! It's super salty that it'll take you to ER for salt overdose.The pork chop tastes like it was fried with used and over used oil. We are very disappointed because the food was tooo pricey! Dont go to this place unless you want to commit food suicide!

local spot, a couple mins away from my house. I wanted some good fried chicken Service: very mom and pop shop feel. I felt this place has a family feel. I appreciate the lady seperate everything so the food doesn't get soggy when i came to pick it up. Plenty of parking. food: i go the fried chicken with mac and cheese, and greens. It combo comes with cornbread. (thats fire.) The chicken was plenty for one person. I would come back here. Next time i want to eat it hot and dine in.

This place has been in my neighborhood and on my checkout list for a while. I want to start off my review with the good things. Service was friendly and you can get a combo with a meat for lunch or dinner that comes with two sides. The food had decent seasoning but was not overly salty. I got the fried chicken chicken lunch. The wing was moist but the breast was pretty over cooked and tough. The fried okra was fried in a cornmeal batter and had good flavor without being super greasy. The macaroni and cheese was nothing to write home about as I found it to be far too soft but the flavor was okay. As far as the actual restaurant, the tables were clean and they seem to try and keep everything as tidy as they can but I did see a fly flying around the restaurant on my way out. As the food was just okay, I probably won't return again unless craving that type of food due to the pricing despite the larger portion size.

Food was 10/10 and customers service was 10/10 we was helped by Shelia I believe that's how you spell her name! She was so nice! Her personality and customer service was 100% definitely coming back! Tried a sample of the oxtails and it was delicious!!

Oh my goodness I am literally eating right now. I have to leave a review. The service and the staff are unbelievable but OMG this food is incredible. I will be back over and over and over.
