Slanging Tacos kept showing up in my feed and I stalked them on social media and told myself I would get to their truck one day. I saw that they were going to be by my house so I headed there for lunch. It's a food truck owned by the cutest family. The husband and wife work as a team to run it from taking orders to cooking. Everything on the menu looks so good. I was torn between tacos and birria fries but that day I went with the birria fries. I took my order to go and when they handed me my bag it was so heavy. The portion was huge and I got a few meals out of it since I had leftovers. The birria fries were loaded with tender birria meat, cheese, salsa, and a chipotle sauce. They had a little heat kick to them from one of the sauces but I liked it. They were really flavorful. I can't wait to try their tacos on my next stop to them. I'm from LA and have been to Mexico many times and these are the best tacos I have ever had in my life! I randomly found them at foodie fest and I was torn between the birria fries and the chicken pastor tacos. I usually would go the safe route and get the fries but I chose the tacos and I was so happy I did!The meat was so tender and had soooo much flavor. I even brought a taco home and ate it the next day and it was still amazing!The husband and wife running the truck were very sweet and thanked us for coming out in the pouring rain to support them which I thought was very nice. I will be stalking this truck from now on!

What a delicious food truck! I was in DTLV at a rec center type of place for my friend's roller derby game. This food truck was parked outside and they were even allowing people to bring the food inside, which was awesome.By the time we got there, they were running out of quite a bit of items, which was totally understandable seeing as they were the only food spot around. They were super friendly with us, too, which was great. My friend and I ordered some quesadillas and fries. I didn't realize the fries had a spice to them and a nice kick! They were SO good! The quesadillas were also super good. I wish I had ordered more of them! The flavor of both items were seriously spot on. My friend ordered this hot dog looking thing, too, and I took a bite of that, too, and it was super tastey.Definitely a delicious food truck. I was so hungry I sadly didn't get any photos, but at least I remembered to check-in on Yelp so I could leave a review, so gunna chalk that up to a win! Definitely don't sleep on this food truck. Great delicious authentic food!

Make no mistake--Slanging Tacos is far beyond your average taco truck; these folks are taco and food maestros! The tacos were exceptionally delicious, and their presentation was both thoughtful and visually appealing (which is def important when hosting events!) They brought incredible energy to our event, engaging the crowd and creating an unforgettable dining experience. I would happily hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-tier catering!

One of Vegas' most elite and tasty Mexican Food trucks. Different take on a classic Mexican menu, with the addition of things like Birria Fries. The quality is great and the taste is unique. Great portions and good presentation.

I tried them out at the Lights festival last night. It was really windy outside with sand and dust going everywhere. I wanted to grab some good food and take it to my car due to the weather.I wasn't the only one to ask for it to get covered with some foil, but when I did I was met with the worst attitude I've ever received from a restaurant. The guy rolled his eyes and cursed under his breath. Aggressively held the foil out the window and borderline yelled "can you just do this shit bro?" In the same moment, the wind took some of the foil out of his hand.I responded "Man, not really. it's very windy out here, could you please cover it for me?" His response: "I'm not even supposed to be doing this shit" as he slams the foil onto my food and pushes it in my direction.Wow. Unreal.It would be nice if they showed some care while I spend $35 on some fries and a coke. I get that they were busy, but I promise no one in that line was rushing them. He was rushing himself and took his anger out on me.The food was amazing, no complaints there although I can't say I'll go on to support this business again. Especially after seeing how they treat a customer in need of a little extra help.Side note: this is coming from someone who serves/bartends at a VERY busy establishment. Take a breath bro.
