Let's be clear: This place isn't a luxury hotel. You shouldn't walk to the strip from here. It does feel kinda sketchy outside at night. But it's not all bad. This place is a locals casino now, but wasn't really built that way in the early 80s. As a result, they have hundreds of rooms that rarely fill up. That means it's easy to get a room cheaply here. The resort fee is annoying, but they're basically ubiquitous at this point. First thing: Get a tower room, not a "deluxe" in the original building. I was upgraded for free after our original room had a broken AC. If they have space, (which they usually do) they might upgrade you for free if you ask. (A tip doesn't hurt either)The rooms had were on par with an older Holiday Inn - not immaculate, but fine. They did have a desk which was appreciated, but oddly an iron with no ironing board. The pool was closed for the season, but was clean and pleasant looking. Casino-wise, they recently transitioned to table games with electronic betting. Basically, there's a live dealer, but you bet using a digital display instead of chips. It's relatively efficient and minimums are very low - but they seem to have lost a lot of their local table players because of this switch. On several occasions, I was the only table player in the casino. Drinks are CHEAP! During happy hour, draft beers were $2.77, and only $5 after that. Cocktail service is slow, especially on weekdays. One warning: Do NOT attempt to take Zoom calls/do efficient online work using the free WiFi. Connection was spotty at best and resulted in a lot of frustration. Even my mobile hotspot was finicky due to low reception in the room. You can pay $11 to upgrade to better WiFi, which was much better. Another quirk: due to the configuration of both buildings, the walk to your room can be LONG. The layout reminds me a bit of a tiny NYNY, where the elevators are at the start of the hallways, but do not connect to make a continuous circuit. It did legitimately take nearly 5 minutes to walk from the room to the main elevator.Overall, I stayed here because I was on a budget and had a comp. It's very easy to get comped here, so it's worth getting a players card if you like having a cheap option for a last minute trip. It's not great, but you can do worse at this price point. (It still beats those unforgivable Circus Circus Manor rooms)Don't go expecting a luxury experience, but with appropriate expectations, it's a perfectly fine experience.

This is a small and quaint little casino. I had not been here since it was Terrible's back in the day.It appears to be a lot larger from the outside. In the inside it appears to be very intimate. The main bar appears to be very welcoming and a great place to watch sporting events. I would love to come back and try out their cafe on the second floor. That will be on my to do list. They appear to cater to locals, despite being yards away from the Las Vegas Strip. I would recommend tourists look into this location to save a few dollars and avoid the hustle and bustle of the Strip, and still experience Las Vegas at its fullest!

Horrible first time experience here today. We booked our room here online and when we arrived we were pretty much forced to pay an extra $288 we were told $150 deposit and $46 a night room fee. What a scam. False advertisement right there I have all the screenshots from the booking and not to mention the rooms so out of date and nasty. No Fridge or microwave but they charge you these extra fees but no continental breakfast that comes with resorts like we got charged here. My toilet lid is broken. And to top it off the room has cockroaches and the remote doesn't work. Definitely either give me a excellent upgrade or I'm going to the health department for the bugs crawling across my bed I paid ridiculously to sleep on. Ok. I have 4 million followers don't test me for the 3 days I'm at your scam casino hotel

*** Review is only for the new dinner/show ***I got a ticket to go Friday night to see Jimmy Hopper at the Silver Sevens Hotel and Casino. I haven't been in the place for at least 15 years when it was Terrible's Casino. Hopper is a familiar entertainer here in Las Vegas but known more to locals than visitors. The showroom is on the second floor in an area that used to be the buffet and coffee shop area. My ticket said 7PM. I went early because of the basketball games going on and Thomas and Mack which is on my way. I got there about 6:30. I went upstairs. There was a sign at the escalator so first timers like me knew where to go. The showroom was already opened. The woman who greeted me explained that it opened at 6 for dinner and the show was at 7. I was taken to a table. The buffet was pointed out. It was in the far corner of the room. I went back. It is a sparse buffet. There was fresh pieces of Romaine, some bread cubes, and dressing. There was garlic bread and then there were two kinds of pasta--penne with shrimp and plain penne. It's almost hard to call it a buffet, but the food was standard buffet quality. There was a table that had pieces of chocolate cake for dessert and there's a cash bar on the other side of that area. For a total price of $27 for both dinner and show, I can't complain much, but it would be better if they had two different pastas rather than the same--one with shrimp added. While eating, they had a very good pianist who entertained the crowd. Promptly at 7, he left the stage and Hopper was introduced. His "theme" for the night was doing the songs of Billy Joel, Elton John, and Neil Diamond. Since I have seen him before, I knew what to expect. He's excellent at the piano, and he has a strong voice. While he wasn't trying to imitate the three mentioned, there was the sound of each one in their music that he played and sang. The show was 90 minutes and it was certainly worth the price! It was a very pleasant evening. I will keep track of their entertainment calendar and I won't hesitate to go back. This has been going on for just one month so feedback is needed for the producers..

Upon arrival, we were told that there would be charged additional tax fees PER NIGHT after we had booked the hotel at a given price. A cleaning deposit was also required to be reimbursed within a week after check out (...fortunately we received our deposit a few days later.)No one cleaned our room for the three nights we stayed and we were told upon checkout (NOT UPON ARRIVAL) that they are a smaller hotel and do it only upon request. The first night, there was a cricket in my bed - I caught it with two plastic cups they provide. The showers caulking was moldy. There was damage on the shower floor and one corner of the room. For two nights, it smelled like someone was smoking marijuana on the second level. Both the room keys didn't open the pool gate either during the pool hours. (The parking lot was also dirty with used socks and cocktail glasses in the morning... but the Vegas crowd can be dirty sometimes.)Note: there is no mini fridge, microwave or coffee maker either - which are available in most motels. The only redeeming thing about our stay was it is cheaper than hotels on the strip. In addition, the sink counter was made with labradorite and the decor of the room was contemporary. There was also live music playing Selena and salsa on Friday night. Lastly, they have a blended pineapple drink you can order when playing roulette slots. That's why I gave 2 stars, instead of 1.

Service is the worst I have ever seen in a hotel , but especially the casino staff . They are unfriendly no customer care very rude unprofessional. I've given these guys three chances they don't care.Food - didn't try the food. Ambience -it's very old and rundown. I would highly recommend going anywhere else in Vegas .

This is a budget hotel casino about a mile off the strip. I had no issues with check-in at all. It was fast and pleasant. There is free garage parking, which is nice since strip properties are charging a mortgage payment and a vital organ just to look at a parking space these days. I did not need the airport shuttle, but noticed that it wasn't running, which would really have upset me had I been depending on it. The room is enormous, but sparsely furnished. There is no refrigerator, no microwave, and no coffee maker. So what this does is prevent guests from purchasing their own food unless they're going to eat it immediately, and forces them downstairs to the convenience store to purchase four dollar cups of coffee. (Pro-tip: I learned on the last day of our stay that you can get free coffee at the casino bar with your room key). The toilet/shower area of the bathroom is prohibitively small. I literally had to step behind the toilet to close the door. I'm about six feet, two hundred thirty pounds, and the bathroom was difficult for me to get into and use. My traveling buddy is a bit bigger than me, and he abandoned ship and had to go downstairs to use the more spacious facilities in the casino restrooms. The water was hot though, so that was nice. When I woke up the first morning and stepped out into the corridor, I'm pretty sure I got a contact high that will last for months from the residual pen vapor emanating from a room a couple doors down. They tried shoving a bunch of plastic bags in their door to keep it contained, but their efforts were fruitless. The next morning, I must congratulate them on their ecstasy judging by the noises that were coming out of their room as I walked by. Nice job, random smoky hotel guests.I live in the central time zone and wake up early, so when I go to west coast time, I frequently find myself waking up at about one in the morning. This property offers almost nothing in the way of food at that hour until the convenience store opens somewhere between six and six thirty, except that the bar does serve gas station level wraps 24/7. The first day, I walked through the street urchins and striking Virgin workers to go to Roberto's about a half mile down the street. The last day, I bought one of the wraps, and the thing was so stale I think I may need to visit a team of dentists to repair the tooth damage it caused. There otherwise was scant little available within walking distance. Don't believe Google maps when it tells you that Jack in the Box is open 24/7. Lies! The cafe upstairs has good food for fair prices when it's open. We tried to get the prime rib on Saturday night, but got there too late, and they were out. That's pretty common, so no points off there. The server recommended the $21 steak and eggs and it was fantastic. He even brought us some au jus and horseradish so we could pretend we were eating prime rib!The casino itself. Hoofta. The bar will only comp players Pabst Blue Ribbon. Anything else costs. I have never, in over thirty years of going to Vegas encountered such nonsense. The machines mostly have one or two broken buttons on them, but they otherwise function. The bar is located next to the sportsbook. When football is going on, the sportsbook is full of the most wretched hive of scum and villainy this side of Mos Eisley Cantina. I had to leave the casino entirely during Monday Night Football because of the behavior of some of the people there. I can personally attest that if you're in the market for some hood crank, it's widely available in this casino, offered in trade for cigarettes. The free market at its finest!I heard more than one employee, nearly all of them in fact, utter the phrase, "This f'in place." Management is pulling some hours and healthcare stunts that seem to be intentionally driving them away. However, all of the employees were absolutely fantastic to me. I'd specifically like to send kudos to Jessica and John -- two of the best casino bartenders I've ever had the privilege to encounter. Overall, I don't regret staying here, but there's very little chance I will do it again.

I was at Silver Sevens Casino last week and I will never stay there again. I've stayed at Motel 6's and Red Roof Inns and they are better quality than Silver Sevens.1) They don't offer housekeeping services!!! I stayed there for 4 nights and my room was the same as I left it the first day. I called the front desk and they said they only clean the room AFTER my stay is over! WTF? I have never stayed at a place that didn't clean your room on a daily basis.2) The restaurant is TERRIBLE. A security guard told me it's like a Denny's and suggested I eat at Virgin down the street. It's actually worse than Denny's! The first morning, I ate breakfast there and there were only 4 other people in the restaurant. They still screwed up my order. I was tired another night and just ordered a Western Burger to eat quick and go to bed. I ordered it medium. It's a double patty burger. The bottom patty was fine but the top patty was rare. How does that happen? 3) I got charged a resort fee which I guess is the norm in Vegas but I visited in January and it was mid-30s all week so what was I paying for???4) There's one elevator near the parking garage that is on its last legs. It wheezes and rattles as it makes its way to your floor. It doesn't sound safe so I decided to use the stairs.Spend a few extra bucks and go somewhere that they treat you like a valued guest.

The carpet of my room was damaged, really disappointed as I paid for the more expensive room. I did enjoy playing slots though.
