Food was absolutely amazing. The katsu pork and chicken was golden, juicy, and cooked so perfectly. The eggs on the omurice were the perfect blend of runny and fluffy. The curry sauce wasn't particularly special but still very good and flavorful. Our waitress was Jaylene and she gave great service, was on top of everything we needed and answered all our questions, as well as had great reccomendations. You gotta go give this place a chance.

I recently checked out Shogun, which is now under new ownership, and I was really impressed! The staff did a fantastic job of explaining the new menu and making recommendations. They were super friendly and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. The curry itself was surprisingly good--full of flavor, rich, and just the right amount of spice. I wasn't expecting to be this impressed, but I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. If you're in the Henderson area, it's definitely worth giving it a shot. Limited seating-small cozy spot.

My husband and I had an incredible dining experience! The tonkatsu was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and paired beautifully with their rich, flavorful curry. This will definitely be my new go-to curry place when i'm in town.My fave part of the experience was the outstanding service from Cheska. She was warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Her menu recommendations were spot-on, and her friendly attitude made us feel genuinely welcomed. If you're looking for the perfect spot for delicious tonkatsu and curry, combined with top-tier service, Shogun Tonkatsu is a must-visit. Also, this isn't one of those places with blasting music, the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet lunch or dinner. Already can't wait for my next visit!

Ambiance: The place is smaller than average Curry places but the intimacy is what gives this little gem pointed service and speciality servings. Very cozy and has restrooms as well. Smells good inside too. Service: The staff is very attentive and polite. They don't overly crowd you with questions and always have a smile on their faces. Food: On this visit, we ordered 4pc Takoyaki, which was very savory and not too bready. We ordered Chicken Curry Plate and Pork Loin Curry Plate. The portions are wonderful! I totally forgot to take photos of our plates but it was definitely enough to fill you up! The curry itself is delicious and enough for the entire meal but they also offer $5 more curry on the side. The Chicken Cutlets you get are two decent and thick sliced pieces. The pork was very tender and definitely made fresh to order. We also ordered additional sides of Chicken Cutlets for $6 and did not expect it to have two more full cutlets which added to the praise we have of this place. Overall: Highly recommended for a quick meal, easy menu to choose from, and wonderful experience with staff (bonus- there's a TV, they serve desserts and floats too!).

So happy to see a tonkatsu and ramen establishment in Henderson / Anthem area! Shogun is located in the popular shopping center off of Eastern and the 215. Same shopping center as Somi Somi and BJ's. I love that it is open for lunch and then closes at 2 to reset for dinner time, which reopens I think at 5pm. Went inside and we were greeted and seated immediately. Inside was smaller but still spacious with seating at the counter as well as traditional tables and benches. The server went over the menu with us as it was our first time and we ordered the tonkatsu curry $16.50 and the pork tenderloin set $18.50 which came with rice, miso soup, Japanese pickles and shredded cabbage salad with the yummiest dressing ever! I just want to say the Katsu was cooked perfectly, crispy but not oily and perfection tender. The curry wasn't too salty, which can happen sometimes, but had great depth of flavor. Really good. We can't wait to go back and try the ramen, udon and other dishes. Great addition to the area!

Went here with friends to try their omurice. My friend and I ordered the same thing. My other friend got the katsudon. The first omurice arrived sliced, which was unexpected. We asked if we could have the next one served whole (like the ones you see on social media) just to experience it. Instead of slicing it at our table, my friend was called to the window and they sliced it there. It didn't look as nice as we'd hoped. The taste was ok, and it was served with plain steamed rice instead of fried rice. Given the price, I dont' think it was worth it. I ordered pork tenderloin katsu on the side, and that was really good-- well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. However, the katsu sauce didn't really stand out. Service was great, and our server was very accommodating. I wanted to give this place another try, so a couple of days later, I ordered katsudon for delivery. Unfortunately, it was salty and the flavor was off. The miso soup, on the other hand, was good. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll come back.

The food was heavenly. This new spot really impressed us! Food was a solid 10/10. Both the pork and chicken tonkatsu were perfectly cooked--light, crispy, and not dry at all. The whole lunch set was a steal at just over $9, thanks to their grand opening special. We also tried the ebi appetizer, and it didn't disappoint--the batter was light, and the shrimp tasted super fresh.Ambiance and service were also 10/10. The place is quite small, but we went midweek and didn't have to wait. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Me and my family went here on Saturday lunch and it was the best tonkatsu I've had in Las Vegas. We ordered a little bit of everything as we want to try them all and we are very pleased especially the curry and udon. We don't need to go to Chinatown anymore. The pork katsu is so juicy and the breading is not very thick which what we prefer. Chef Taro is from Japan and he has been doing this for more than a decade. It makes me feel like I'm back in Japan. The ambiance is relaxing and the server Cheska is very attentive and always make sure we have everything, which is very nice. I can't wait to go back and bring more friends and family.

Great food! Pork Katsudon and Pork/shrimp curry was really good! Had the agedashi tofu which was the best I've ever tried! Our server Cheska took care of us and recommended what was good! Will be coming back with the whole family for sure!
