Shiver River Shave Ice

Closed since October (?): went by today, and place was locked up during the listed hours. Neighbor establishment said place closed back in October, but thinks there are plans to reopen with new ownership. If there is a status update, message out more info. Thanks.

My favorite place to get shaved ice in BHC. Lots of flavors. One day we'll have to check out the lunch options, they look good!

The best place to go in the summer for shaved ice, food or the Expression shake. And the customer service is always outstanding and super friendly

Nice little spot to grab some cold goodies in this heat! Great prices and generous portions for the shave ice.We ordered the creamsicle, cotton candy and horchata flavors. The smallest size (8 oz) was more than enough per person. We also got the cappuccino crunch thrifty ice cream which was so creamy and delicious. You can never go wrong with thrifty ice cream!Lastly, we ordered the honey sriracha chicken panini, which we also enjoyed.I only wish they enforced wearing masks more strongly, as there were several patrons and workers not wearing masks or not wearing them correctly.

This place is really good! Perfect on a hot AZ day! The staff is REALLY friendly!!! We ordered 4 different type of shaved ice combinations. Some topped with tajin/chamoy and 1 with sour spray. How fun is that? They check on how you like everything and even ask if you need more toppings to make it tastier. You gotta stop here! Definitely worth it. We will be back!

Everything is good there. Especially the potato salad none like it ever before. Very clean. The owner is wonderful. Suggest this place

This is a bright spot in the middle of a dusty dessert. The service was sooo friendly. They have sooo many options. You can get ice cream with your shaved ice and countless toppings. They had soo much I want to come back the next day! One of the best I've been to, and in such an unexpected place. The music was great too!

Shaved ice was great anf the birria tacos were amazing! Definitely will be back in the future

Hands down the BEST location I've ever had for shaved ice. Words cannot explain how amazing the flavors come to life right after that first bite. Arlene was super nice and helpful, ensuring we had the best experience possible. Sadly 5 stars is the limit, shiver river deserves way more. We had a mongo/watermelon shaved ice with chamoy and tajin.And a Cherry Piccadilly. It's cherry shaved ice with pickles!! Don't knock it until you try it.
