Okay, so the only reason my family and I decided to eat here was because we were absolutely STARVING and there was no other place to eat, and the view was a plus. Thankfully my family and I went at a time when it was not so busy because we were seated by the window in only a couple minutes.Let me start off and say that the service was incredible. I sadly forgot the name of our waiter, but he was so nice and I don't think my experience would have been half as good if we didn't have such a nice waiter. My family shared a plate of nachos and two burgers, and we were surprisingly full. The portion definitely did not match the expensive price of the dishes, but it wasn't bad at all. The burgers were mediocre, as in they tasted just like any other burger, but their nachos were amazing. I'm a huge fan of nachos and will always get a place of them no matter which restaurant I am at. I still don't know what, but something about their nachos made it taste so good; they definitely are on my list of top 5.I think the price of the food was more geared towards the fact that we got to sit at the window and see the beautiful view of the Grand Canyon, rather than it representing the quality of the food in general. So if you were to visit the South rim but do not wish to spend your money on the skywalk, I would recommend eating at this restaurant instead. But if you're wanting to eat here for the food, I recommend waiting until you get back in town, or eat before getting to the south rim because it's sort of a waste of money.

SOLID 3 1/2 STARS... I was so excited to dine at Sa' Nyu Wa located at the Grand Canyon Skywalk. I was seeing flyers and posters of this new restaurant that opened up in February 2017. Being a foodie, these are the things we get excited about. New restaurants, new and bold flavors and having a great experience. We were able to get a table for 6 overlooking Grand Canyon Skywalk. Beautiful panoramic view with large windows. Patio seating is also available. Our server, Glenn, was absolutely nice and friendly. He showed us the ALOHA spirit. I'd also like to give a shout out to Rey Santos who was very professional. For the both of them, 5 STARS. This is where it fell short. We ordered the following dishes: Rib EyeSeared AhiDouble Bone Pork ChopPad ThaiCrispy CalamariArtichoke Dip with Fry BreadThe rib eye was flavorful, the pork chop was delightful and satisfying to my taste buds (my favorite dish), the pad thai was blah, the artichoke dip was average and we had to return the calamari. It was breaking apart and the breading looked burnt but the inside was uncooked. The food did not come out all together. The timing was off and the seared ahi took the longest. We did wait for quite a bit. :( But hey, I knew it took long but we still enjoyed each others company and did not complain. This is where the server and MOD stepped it up. They both apologized and our server offered to give us desserts. YAY! We were happy and the desserts were amazing. The MOD came to our table, Rey, and apologized for the delay and timing of the food and for the calamari not being the best. Now that to me is service. He recognized and acknowledge rather than just letting it go. When I return to Vegas and decide to visit Grand Canyon Skywalk, I will definitely come by and give them another try. I would recommend everyone to dine at this restaurant if you're ever in the area. Aloha! #808represent#islandgirlnette#thefoodiediva#nette.yelp.com

1 star for the great view and 1 star for the burger... let me explain why. We were seated around 2:30 maybe after a 3 minute wait (which is great) but they didn't deserve a star for that. They took our order right away. We got two chicken tenders and fries, two "Rim burgers" (i think that's what it was called, and a artichoke dip. We waited around 15 minutes for them to refill our waters(which btw are small cups and we were so thirsty from the humidity that day) We then waited another 10-15 minutes just for the artichoke dip. The dip was delicious, highly recommend. Then waited anotherrrr 15-20 minutes for our main entree. The chicken tenders were alright? I mean they're chicken tenders. My roommate and boyfriends burgers were really good according to them. Our plates were taken and then we waited another 10 minutes for the check. While waiting for them to come grab our check book, i noticed the waitress talking to a coworker in the corner of the restaurant laughing? Maybe it was a work related conversation? I don't know, i just wanna give her the benefit of the doubt. Until finally we just grab our check book and walk to the front to see if maybe they could check us out. As we're walking to the front, our waitress rushes over and says she can take that from us and apologizes. The wait was the thing that bothered me the most. If we hadn't seen the Grand Canyon prior to eating, this would've cut out a lot of time on our sight seeing.

The Sky Bridge at the Grand Canyon West Rim was a fantastic day trip away from Las Vegas and lunch at the restaurant made the drive even more special. I worried that it would be a tourist trap with "ok" food. What a pleasant surprise to find that the dishes I ordered were delicious. I wish I could have ordered more.

This is the perfect tourist catch. After spending hours waiting in line for the skyview, the shuttles, the tickets, the bathrooms, you can come to this place and be greeted by the rude native and be told to wait another 30 minutes, even when there's at least 20 empty tables in the place. This whole experience is a fraud where all they want is your money and once you get stuck up here you don't have a choice. AVOID THE TOURIST TRAP. The time driving to the atual Grand Canyon National Park, does not look so bad now. Ahhh...the food...it's as bad as the service and the place itself.

We came to eat dinner and it was perfect. The staff was nice, the food was great, and best of all we sat by the window which was the view of the Grand Canyon. They served the local tribes soup called "acorn stew" with a bread that was amazing. It melted in your mouth. Overall it was an amazing experience. Also this is not Asian fusion at all

So before I begin this review I would like to say the service here was AMAZING! Super interactive and caring. The view of the resturanut skywalk is beautiful and simply breathtaking. We knew we had to dine here simply because of the view. The food was pretty good but I personally wasn't a big fan. (The wait of our food was pretty long I would say about 30 mins for even the app. to come out.) Their Pad Thai wasn't even pad Thai and tasted nothing remotely similar and the noodles were plain and soggy. But overall it wasn't horrible. We got complimentary appatizer which was great! They gave us 2 plates with 3 apps in each plate. I love the sticky wings and the bread along with a pink raspberry butter which was so addicting. We ordered acorn soup which was awful it tasted like we were eating from a candle - it was sweet but with super cinnamon in it. It was good if it was baked in a pie or something else just not served as soup. We also got the calamari which I loved 10/10 it's my favorite thing on the menu even though the batter was coming apart. The truffle fries were okay.. didn't taste any truffle it was like regular fries to me. The last thing we had a little problem was their Mac n cheese.. it was literally dripping with oil and probably about 1/3 had oil on the bottom. We ordered a bunch of other food from the resturnaut which we didn't have a problem with. I still loved this place and would recommended a visit to here, maybe we just had a bad experience but overall I liked it. The service is what makes me want to go back! Happy traveling!

This review is based solely on the soups. That was all we had time for. We had sneaked away from our tour group and time was short. Soups were beautiful. Service was impeccable. Clearly the staff in this new restaurant have been well trained. In spite of the fact that we were in a rush we were treated most graciously. If I recall correctly, our server was Glenn. The tortilla soup was a velvety squash puree (butternut?) in a chicken base. At center was a tasteful dollop of sour cream with the most delicate tortilla strips I have ever seen. The Chicken & Rice soup had tender strips of chicken with lovely grill marks. The vegetables were colorful and most elegantly cut. The soups were worthy of a 5 star restaurant. The bonus, of course, was the stunning view of the canyon. We hope to have time to go back again to enjoy a complete meal. Keep up the good work!

We stopped in to Sa'Nyu Wa while we were at the Grand Canyon Sky walk last week. The hostesses of the restaurant, along with the female manager on duty, were nothing but kind and friendly, and the view from our table was incredibly beautiful. However, the service we received and the food quality in the restaurant were a tad disappointing. I understand that this is the only restaurant close to the sky walk, but for some of the prices on the menu, I felt as though were were eating at a glorified fast food restaurant. Our server took nearly 5 minutes to greet our table and ask us if we ready to order without offering us beverages or grabbing us waters. When delivering us the check he just handed it to us and continued the conversation he was having with a co-worker. No "have a nice day" or "thank you for joining us at lunch today." Leaving the restaurant underappreciated was nothing short of a slap in the face. The $18 burger we ordered medium rare was served to us extremely rare, and the Corn Chowder that we received tasted like a can of cream corn.I think that the location for this restaurant is beautiful, and the restaurant would do a lot better if there was better service and menu items.
