The customer service was wonderful. Quaint keys to unlock your room. Walk-in price was $123 for one night. Online $30 cheaper on hotel app. I should have been a little more diligent in looking around. No offense but price was not worth the quality. We pulled in, and placed our suitcase in the room. When we got settled in, we cleaned up by taking a shower. Prior to me getting into the shower I saw a baby cockroach. Then I was five minutes in the shower and the tub filled up fast. After getting ready for bed noticed the bathroom caulking, panel behind toilet, bathroom wall and a vent or not even sure what it is. The room may have been remodeled but definitely not the ones seen online.Went back in the bathroom and found two more baby cockroaches. Finally, got into bed and it sound broken on the side I retired to. *sigh*...so literally this not the worse motel we have ever been in and I can say I have paid this price for much nicer and have been in some very fine Hotels. So this one was difficult for me to review. I honestly do not like to give bad reviews if not warranted BUT the motel itself was not worth the cost for the quality.

Such great staff and a fun Dr.Seus vibe to this spot. We got in late and the lady behind the counter was so happy and eager to help us. This is a great location since it's about 30 minutes from the Vegas strip and right around the corner from Hoover Dam. It's also along a strip that has all types of unique breakfast spots and the usual Starbucks, general stores and what not. I enjoyed cruising around here with the top down looking at all the unusual places of antiques, jewelry, and even a monster museum. The room was set up with a good size bedroom and a separate den for dining that included a table for eating and a table infront of a mirror for putting on make up or using for computer work. I liked the small touches, such as , the Dr.Seus type artwork and the small sign in the den mirror that says "You're Beautiful". The room comes with the usual microwave, small fridge and coffee pot set up ,which is always handy. My only issue was the walls are a bit thin, and I was woken up late at night for a bit from the neighbors loud conversation. Other than that, I enjoyed the cozy small town vibe and friendliness of the locals. It's great if you want to be a bit away from the Vegas commotion and have a more personal, laid back experience.

Cute little motel . Nicely renovated , VERY quiet / cute community ! I decided to book here because of the great reviews and it was close to our adventure - - it's also 15 minutes (or less) from the Hoover dam The lady at the front is extremely nice / friendly . I do think it is kind of expensive for a motel . We're staying in room #1 . Which is literally right next to the dumpster and the bathroom is literally right next to what seems like a maybe a auto shop? Not 100% sure but , we kept that window closed .Because (I'm assuming) we're next to the dumpster we woke up this morning to this big ass roach (literally the only bug we've seen) we kicked it out the door QUICKLY ! Would I stay here again ? NO . Would I stay in #1 no. Would I recommend? NO.Update : 10:55a we just checked out and we found another roach and I will request a partial refund .

Just checked in to this little gem! Place is clean, TV is big and works, room is big, and shower was just re-glazed. I will be coming back since I work in Henderson a bit. I just have to borrow their plunger to unclog the shower, i'll get it from them in the afternoon tomorrow.

Wow! Awesome! What a great deal with tons of local charm.I was coming to BC to visit my daughter and grandkids for their birthdays with my 85 year old mother. I reached out and spoke to Heather (the manager?) she quoted me a fair price (Valentines day weekend) and I registered over the phone. AAA gets a discount FYI. I had heard it was all remodeled. Pleasant surprise. Rooms are big. Beds are very comfortable and carpet looks new. Bathroom is a bit small but I'm not in need of a lot of space to use the rest room lol. Had a fridge and a beautiful dresser and new TV. What more can you ask for? Heather met us at checkin. A reach out and she accommodated an early check in. She is an awesome asset to this property! Friendly, helpful, and very prompt. I'd recommend the Sands!

Complete scam I was charged 1 thousand for three days. The railroad pass casino only charges 100.00 per day. The housekeeping staff is awesome but the husband wife cashiers are garbage. Stay at the motels across the street you'll be better off. The woman at the front desk is a scam artist and will steal your money.

Very cool retro motel! We would have liked to have stayed here in the 50s as that's what it reminded us of but everything's updated to today's standards. Friendly staff, clean room & close to everything in town. We'll stay here again in the future.

This place initially left a positive impression with its friendly and welcoming staff. However, my experience took a turn when I decided to switch from the deluxe family room to a single queen room for the next night. After booking online, I was surprised to receive a knock on my door within minutes. The property manager informed both me and my mom that it would be more convenient for the staff if we stayed in our current room to avoid housekeeping cleaning another room. She also mentioned that we would need to pay the pet fee, as we had the previous night. My mother went to the front desk to pay the pet fee, but to our dismay, the property manager requested an additional payment due to her decision to keep us in the family deluxe room. It was frustrating because we wanted to switch rooms, yet she refused to accommodate our request. She insisted on charging us an extra $41 for her decision. When my mom voiced her objections, the property manager contacted the owner, who instructed her to charge us a $30 pet fee instead. Confused, my mom asked why the pet fee had increased by $20 compared to the previous night. The property manager explained that it was because we had not booked directly with her. While the property manager herself seemed pleasant, it is disheartening to see her working for someone who takes advantage of guests in this manner. We feel very taken advantage of.
