Rubio's Carniceria

Stopped in looking to get a picnic cut pork shoulder to make a Puerto Rican pernil - and they had the cut!Staff was friendly and didn't bat an eye when I asked them to slice the skin back while leaving it attached for proper roasting of the cuerito. Mil gracias!

Whether you are new in town or visiting a new neighborhood. There are many ways to Meet and Greet the locals. Including the father and son butcher market along the east side of Lake Mead Blvd. Rubio and his son Christian provide high quality meat for more than 30 restaurants throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Even during our present unprecedented times with social distancing and social phobias. Rubio still places high priority on providing customer service with a sincere neighborly welcome.You might say this is one type of Meat and Greet that is more than Meats the eye.

We discovered this small Carniceria by chance, and purchased the Ranchera meat to make tacos. We were so pleasantly surprised to find it was so soft, and so delicious. Authentic carne asada marinade! We now make the drive from NW area to purchase carne, chorizo, longaniza (spicy sausage). We are always greeted by a warm and pleasant staff. Junior is always so helpful and hospitable. It really feels like the neighborhood Carnicerias from my childhood in LA. They make the chorizo and longaniza and Ranchera marinade from scratch and you can tell because it tastes fresh and authentic. I'll be honest, we are picky w our Mexican meats and have high expectations. Rubio's definitely met/exceeded those expectations. Aside from the meat, they have an excellent Selection of home made salsas, very affordable. And MAN, ARE THEY GOOD!! We had the green salsa and it was so delicious and authentic. Just as if we had made it ourselves on the molcajete. We have spread the word around our LA-Mex friends/family let them know we've finally found a good Carniceria!! Well worth the 30 minute drive from NW. it's that good!

Best carniveria in Vegas , must try the Al pastor, carne asada & chips guac + salsa !

Not a lot of quick carnicerías in the east side other then driving out some further out , i got diesmillo preparada and it was so good and flavorful ! I highly recommend it!
