Roots sea and soul food

Ameia's SOULFOOD is made from the heart. She is so thoughtful with her cooking process and hospitality. She delivered the meal along with eating and serving utensils. We ordered collard greens, mac and cheese, red beans / rice , crispy drumsticks, and grilled chicken. Most of which is not on her menu but she catered our requests. Go to the restaurant or have her cater your next special event. You won't regret it.

We came here for Father's day, not knowing what to expect and just looking forward to trying a new spot...this place was soooo good! As a pregnant woman I have become soo picky but everything was AMAZING! The Mac n Cheese , the YAMS and the smothered chicken and turkey legs! Delicious all of it! The owner was so sweet and her cooking is a must try. We will be back , my only regret is not taking a picture of the food!

Don't trust the open or close sign on the door here. Both times I visited it was the opposite of the sign! Extremely friendly!!! Reasonable prices. The inside of the restaurant is HUGE and very clean. All I have to say is that I'm still craving the Greens I got from here. I took a picture to share because they were so good. I did have a full meal but they were my favorite item. Once I figure out what the hours are I'll try to make it back to try out other items on the menu.
