Had lunch there today. Super nice staff and food was delicious!!! Please check them out if you're craving yummy Mexican food. Portions are very satisfying. Restaurant was very clean and spacious. Located near strip and college. Absolutely will go there again and totally recommend!!!

I decided to try RIVAS MEXICAN GRILL for the first time tonight, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. I ordered a steak burrito, and about halfway through, I discovered a small, mangled wire mixed in with my food. Finding something like that in my meal was not only shocking but downright unsafe.I didn't have time to address it with the staff at the moment, but I felt this needed to be shared. Finding foreign objects in food isn't just unpleasant--it's a serious health hazard. Hopefully, they can improve their quality control, but for now, I wouldn't recommend risking it.

It's honestly just this location because I love Rivas "Can I have your largest side of pico and guac and chips?" Total $5.35I get handed 2 small soufflés and a container of chips. Mind you one of the containers is sour cream instead of pico. I get being busy as well but no one was in the store and I waited 10 minutes for 3 simple containersThe last few times I've come here it's just pretty subpar and annoying but honestly idk what I expect anymore in this lazy cityLike this is such a small annoyance but they keep happening in the fast food industry and it's not worth the time or moneyStart eating at home peopleAll the fast food is frozen bs from Walmart and you can make your own stuff at home AND be healthier for half the costFast food is supposed to be FAST and convenient where as in Vegas it's slow lazy and incorrect

I've been waiting to try this place for a while we are pretty much loyal to Roberto's. We decided to finally try this place due to the special .99 chicken tacos on Wednesday. I hate that I don't like the tacos there green sauce was really good!! I understand places are all trying to make some money but the chicken tacos had very little chicken and then one of the tacos was fried so hard the chicken was like chicharons!! The lady was nice and maybe it's because this one is so close toUNLV. I don't know maybe I should try something else just wish I knew of the tacos are always like this or if it's because of the special. I also like the hot carrots too because they shave them super thin and they hold more flavor!

Well I don't usually do bad reviews but this place was pretty bad! The only thing my wife and I enjoyed was the chicken burrito and it was the only thing that was actually pretty fresh and not stale or hard! Oh and the steak fries was pretty good too!

I've been here two times since my last review, and the food was subpar. Last night, I ordered a wet California burrito (with enchilada sauce and cheese on top). It...wasn't good. The sauce was okay but the cheese tasted processed (you know, like not real cheese) and smelled weird (not bad or rancid, but...weird). Rice and beans tasted reheated. What bothered me the most was that even though they were closing, and I asked to eat it there, the lady proceeded to mop right in front of my table while I ate, so now I smell the scent of floor cleaner while I eat. The carnitas taco was good. I will say, they are consistent with their carnitas and asada. The previous time, I ordered a breakfast burrito and it tasted bland. I know some Rivas locations are better than others, and I believe this location is one of the "others".

Service was friendly and place was clean. -1 star as I feel the bean and cheese is not as good as the competition where you get a wet bean and cheese and a soda for the same price as this place been and cheese . Also would be nice to have basic Tomatoe base salsa mild for the gringos like me. I've lived in vegas 6 years and this was my first time here. I'll come back for the wed 99c tacos and give this place another shot

.99 cent chicken tacos. Not worth it! I have been going to Roberto's for at least 20 years. I decided to try Rivas. Huge mistake. Over cooked shell and even chicken was over cocked, inside the shell. Very greasy, bland, had less than half the meat and cheese Roberto's puts in their chicken tacos. The tacos had a weird flavor like almost a hint of liver taste? Weird. Yes they are about .50 less than Roberto's We'd special tacos. Not worth it! Spend the extra and have really good tacos on Wed. At Roberto's.
