Quadmama's Empanadas

This food truck is at my complex tonight set up. I thought I would give them a try. I already had dinner planned so I thought I would try the s'mores. I was surprisingly disappointed. The quality wasn't great. The empanada shell had a stale taste and the inside was hallow. I'm sure deep frying marshmallow melts it down into almost nothing. There wasn't much chocolate inside (not sure if there was supposed to be).. it did have some chocolate drizzled on top with powdered sugar. I personally don't think it was worth $5. As for the people running it. The lady that took my order was quick and told the other one to start the order. The younger girl just seemed like she would rather be anywhere else.Reply to your private message and response to my review:When you made my meal, I was the only customer at the time, so if you made a mistake I get that... things happen. But you seem like you were expecting me to walk back and request a remake or a refund when I have never been to your truck before and didn't know what to expect with the order. So how was I to know you guys "made a mistake" with this dessert? I am not taking down my review because everything in my review is accurate and how I experienced your product. Hopefully honest feedback can help your business in the future. I appreciate you trying to make it right by offering a solution with refund for removing my review or a remake but I kindly decline your offer.

This food truck is at our apartments this evening. I had just the caramel apple empanada. My son had the chicken shawarma, the s'mores and a mint lemonade. It was all great. Service was good. Debating on going out for a second empanada lol

We were fortunate to have this business take part in our career day at school. First time trying empanadas-had the chicken meal with rice and beans. So good! Really want to try the other flavors now. Went back later to try the s'mores or caramel apple dessert empanadas-sold out! My loss. Super nice and patient ladies!

I live in Miami Florida and am surrounded with some of the best Latin restaurant and food trucks and love me some Empanadas. I visit Vegas often to see family and friends. I saw this cute lil food trailer and took a chance, well worth it. The taste and consistency, the quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. I'd have to say some of the best Empanadas I have ever had. Friendly greeting making you feel like family. I didn't get a chance to try everything on the menu, but I tried. Defiantly hitting them up when I get back next month.
