My family has been attending this festival for years. Lately it has been in no small part because family members have been performing there. Plan on walking your legs off due to the way the parking, entrance, and exits are set up. For some reason this year they installed a huge piece of astroturf at the front entrance. Trip hazard! Watched there as a lady tripped and fell right in front of me. I asked if she was ok and then I told her she should report her accident to someone at the festival. Next thing I know a guy claiming to be the general manager was trying to throw me out for telling her to report her incident to them. I explained that I was on my way out anyway and happened to see the lady trip and fall in front of me where I was pausing on my long journey back to the dirt parking lot. His manner was threatening and I asked him to step away from me. She was on the ground right there by me and he clearly couldn't care less if she was ok. He told the lady that the City gave them the park this way and then indicated that he had put down the wadded up synthetic grass she had tripped on. Luckily I had several family members there to witness what happened. Don't waste any part of your life at this supposed festival. It has devolved into a low-budget event that is run by seeming thugs. If you don't look Polynesian plan to be mistreated and disrespected at this inappropriately named event. I grew up in North Las Vegas and I am embarrassed that the City is willing to host such a poorly run event that is operated by bullies. . Never have seen such a terrible response to an accidental incident at a public event.

Where exactly is the Aloha?? Every single year you make Pure Aloha more and more expensive for what? Pay to park $15 to get in for blocked entertainment. Yes we wait and wait for a taste of home but truly I'll wait for the trip to Hawaii than this crap, at least we will have the beach and Zippy's food here sucks

An In-Your-Face Hawaiian Tourist Trap!Located at Craig Ranch Regional Park which is public land operated by the Clark County Parks and Recreation, we had to pay $5.00 to park and got hit with a $20/person admission fee? Our group of 6 immediately laughed and walked away. The $20 admissions fee gest you nothing once inside. The Hawaiian group running this scam got the use of public land to make huge profits. Since the exits from the horrible parking lot were not marked and 3 different parking attendants had zero clue where the exits were, we left by an entrance lane. Much like a trip to the Hawaiian Islands, the Pure Aloha Festival was a blatant tourist trap and needlessly expensive if you paid the admission fee. My family and friends now have another reason to never patronize any Hawaiian business or visit any part of the State of Hawaii. Hawaii has nothing to offer that we have not experienced in Costa Rica, Guatemala, California or the Gulf coast for a fraction of the cost. Shame on the Clark County Parks and Recreation administrators to allow Hawaiians to profit from public taxpayer funded land.

Very expensive entrance fee even for children! Food selections very disappointing and expensive, one potato chips $8. I was craving for Hawaiian eatery, like plate lunch and hot malasada, none available. Entertainment was the only positive from this festival. We spent $300 total. I will not be attending next year.

GREAT festival, lots of everything Polynesia. The parking needs to be addressed. An open lot filled with dirt and rocks is not helping those that use wheelchairs, ppl who bicycle to the festival, the scooters, mopeds & all the other electric mobile forms of transportation that's so common these days. Even when you walk towards the entrance it's hard to feel confident your not going to trip & fall from the imbalance caused by the rocks & holes of a large unpaved area that's got no lights. This issue is not small & should not be overlooked. It's only a matter of time before there a legal issue stemming from an injury or type of damage. The other issue here is the designated area for eating. You buy your food & go to sit down only to find people have taken all the chairs for personal use or because they didn't bring their own foldable chair they take what's at the eating area. The area that's specifically provided by the festival for people to sit at & eat should not be turned into a personal spot to set up camp. It should be clearly posted around the area as well as on the FAQ on the website if your not eating & someone needs a chair you should relinquish it. This year & last year several very heated arguments erupted & almost came to physical violence all because some people wanted to keep an entire table & chairs for their family to just chill & they weren't even eating. If you provide security & go to great lengths to see to it the festival runs smoothly then please keep these things in mind. It may not seem like much but that's only because it hasn't been a problem for you yet & avoiding problems should definitely be high priority.

Worst festival I've ever been to! My first time going to the aloha festival and I won't be back! After waiting in line for 1 hour they decided to open the gate to people who had been there for 10 minutes and didn't inspect their bags but made us go thru TSA. The owners should take note of how fast foodie fest went thru. I'm a pregnant woman I can't stand for 1 hour!!!! On top of all these they were being racist and security was telling people with no bags could go in first before us even tho I saw her let who she likes to go in with a diaper bag or a purse in general, the prices were reasonable only thing was the shaved ice was so nasty could go to Bahama bucks for one instead of throwing it away. Do not recommend will not be back
