Jazmine K. the bartender made our Punk Rock Bowling experience! She was friendly, personable, fast and knows how to treat people! We made sure to stand in her line because it definitely moved the fastest! Quality person and hard worker!

This is a really fun outdoor festival that's set up right in downtown Las Vegas. It's just outside, across the street, from the Golden Nugget hotel. In addition to the 3-day festival, there's also night shows and free pool parties. There's only one stage of music, so you're guaranteed to catch all the sets. It's a small festival, but this keeps the costs down. It's about ~$50/day or ~$100 for a 3 day pass over Memorial Weekend. It's very convenient to stay in Old Town as everything is walk-able, but take note that hotel prices will be greatly inflated due to the holiday weekend and the festival unfortunately. Actually, it was impossible to even find parking on Monday when we arrived into Old Town as all the hotels' lots and even the overflow lots were full, so beware.

One of the best music festivals I've been too. Two stages!! Come early because the security line can be long everyone is wanded and frisked. No outside food or beverages are allowed. The music was great lots of vendors and food trucks and bars are plentiful. The only negative is that you have to buy (rent) a plastic cups for your beverage but there is only one place to return your cups to get your deposit back on the festival grounds. Also if you wait till after the last act goes on to return your cups they become souvenirs because the return station closes early.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: One of the best outdoor music festivals I've been to, even with the hellish heat!I have friends who've been going for years and I've been wanting to join them forevah! Well 2017 was finally my year, and the bf and I had a fantastic time. It was the festival's first time at the new Las Vegas Events Center (aka the big lot by the Golden Nugget), but everything went off without a hitch. First of all, there's only one stage, which makes this a very manageable festival. Second of all, there were lots of great vendors--special kudos for having several good veggie choices in the food area, including a vegan tent that was serving up some seriously delicious eats. Finally, everyone was just very chill and there to have fun; the only really annoying people were the drunk bro-punks (what a surprise). There were a lot of great acts this year, with age-old favorites like Iggy Pop and Bad Religion, but also some cool up and comers like Plague Vendor and Mobina Galore. While the crowd was sizable, it wasn't unbearably packed, and the staff, especially the security, were all very professional. Crowd surfers who made it to the front were gently plucked and released, and were not hassled unless they were clearly drunk and belligerent (see reference to bro-punks above). It did get REALLY hot, however, and it would've been nice if they could've set up some more shade areas, but since the shows started at like 3pm I supposed it's not too many hours of the sun being out. They did have some misting fans set up in the bar area, so even non-VIP peons like me could get some relief from the heat. But seriously, the real stars were the bathrooms! They were the luxe trailer-style toilets with flushing toilets, running sinks, and AC. As the night wore on, there were quite a few people just hanging out in the bathrooms to escape the heat. All in all, a great weekend of music, booze and sweat. I can't wait for next year!

Due to more and more of us flocking into town early, Punk Rock Bowling weekend is gradually turning into a week long event. In its 15th year, the event just keeps getting better. Lots of free pre show goodies like the comedy show at The Palace, and The Joey Show (punk rock piano) at The Nug, plus some late night pre shows at a good price. Main stage: the line is faster this year. The bleacher set up for the non VIPs is perfect. Food, vendors, and band schwag are in a easy to find. Tons of records, t shirts, pin up style clothing, and cheap CDs for sale. The lot is paved this year which keeps the dust down, but makes for a rough landing in the pit. Only negatives are: Bathrooms are gross a bit early this year, and there is no margarita or sour mix available with shots of patron. Also, hard to figure out where to get 21+ bracelet. Get it when you come in gate.I will update later....

Another year passed & another great festival. PRB is yet to disappoint, great line ups at the main show. So many good club shows to pick from after. Truly the best Music Festival held in Las Vegas. The lay out of the main stage and grounds was pretty awesome. Punk rockers of the world unite, and make new friends. This year was one for the books. If for some strange reason you didn't make it this year. Mark your calendar for next year. Thank You PRB once again. You even gave me the chance to meet my Yelp Friend from TN.Stay strong & rock on!!

A great festival with good music, a great community, and all the festival best you could want. I have a lot of food allergies, so festivals aren't always a little concerning for me, but there was an amazing selection of food and I was able to eat without worry all three days. A big bravo to the event organizers!
