Just wow! We've been visiting PP for years and always rave about their prime rib, salads, potatoes and their wine specials that change monthly. But they recently updated their menu! Among other new dishes, they now have the most delicious chicken piccata. Tender, tasty and perfect, served with julienne fresh veggies and of course your choice of potato. I left my phone in the car, otherwise there would be a photo of the artistic presentation. Well done Primarily Prime team!!

Had a really nice birthday dinner at Primarily Prime Rib last night! Started the meal with mushrooms in a cream sauce and crab cakes--wonderful!!! I got a traditional cut of prime rib and my parter had the cowboy cut with seasoning. We both had house salads and baked potatoes. Finished the meal with a complementary ice cream and ordered an extra crème brûlée, because why not. We're not drinkers so the whole meal cost us $140 plus tip.Our sever was Steven and his back waiter was, I think, Ricardo (hope I got that correct)--they were both friendly and efficient. I live in centennial so the drive here was long, but if I lived in the area, I'd 100% be back often!

This is a great restaurant to go to for a nice steak dinner at a more affordable price located right in South Point Casino. It's tucked upstairs and has an old school steakhouse type vibe but with modern finishes. It's hues of red were perfect for the holiday season and it was tastefully decorated. As I've found with most Vegas restaurants, the service was great, always very attentive and the wait staff is really good at their jobs. They have a pretty good list of menu options and decided to get what they are known for, prime rib, along with filet mignon. I didn't try my dining partner's prime rib but heard it was juicy and pretty tasty. As for me I got the filet mignon, crab cake and vegetables that was prepared just to my liking, however I could've used less sauce. In addition, each entree comes with a starter option and a side. For us we chose salad and a baked potato, both of which were prepared before our eyes with table-side service. It was a little heavy on the dressing so perhaps next time I will ask to get the dressing on the side. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some prime rib and/or other cuts of meat.

What a wonderful restaurant that I didn't know existed. On the second floor of the SouthPoint you will find this charming restaurant tucked away in the corner. We went for Valentine's Day. I didn't know there was a set menu option but wow what an amazing value. It was a three course meal and it included a bottle of wine. We had excellent service and we were very impressed with the atmosphere and the food quality.

Even with most restaurants raising their prices and decreasing portion size, Primarily Prime Rib still offers a very good dining experience for a fair prices. Yes it's not located on the strip but it's worth the drive to not pay an arm and a leg. The casino has free parking something that is rare on the strip. Restaurant is cozy old chic vs modern but clean. Tables are not too close to each other so makes for a more pleasant meal where you are not cramped. They have different size cuts starting with a 10oz. Prime rib was cooked exactly as ordered and tasted perfectly delicious. Both drinks and dessert are also fairly priced. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly.

Came here for dinner the night before the NFR Rodeo. This place was packed. Luckily we had reservations. I ordered the Blackened Cajun Prime Rib. It was very tender and the spices were perfect. Started with the Idaho Potato Soup. It was very creamy with chunks of Potatoes. Ordered my Prime Rib with the Baked Potato with everything (is there another way?). Again it was delicious. The Prime Rib came with two kinds of horseradish, both were pretty mild but paired well with the Prime Rib. Finished it off with the Brown Betty for dessert. When we got the bill it was under $100 for the two of us (each of us had a soda, entree (which included soup or Salad, prime rib, and baked potato), and a dessert. Service was a little slow, but the place was packed. So not too bad considering how crowded it was.

What a gem and I'm glad we dined here. Pretty good size restaurant with beautiful burgundy color decor. Our server was Kristela and she was nice and attentive. Food: Roast Prime Rib of Beef- Cajun Style with baked potato, spinach saladCoconut Shrimp My friends had the English Cut and Southpoint Cut.We were all amazed on how good the Prime Rib was. My friend liked hers rare and I was happy with my blackened Prime Rib even though it was cooked a little more than medium temperature. The coconut shrimp was also delicious. Overall, great spot at Southpoint and I'll definitely return again.

We came for Christmas and had an amazing time. You must have a reservation (all the restaurants at the Southpoint were packed!) if going for a holiday. We were sat right away. They have a prefixe menu for Christmas and their main menu is not available. Choice of appetizer, main with sides included, tea or coffee, and dessert for $45pp. Steven was our waiter and he was SO good to us. The food was tender, fresh, and came out quickly. The restaurant wasn't too loud and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We've had Christmas dinner here the last two years. The service is friendly and straight forward. We had a reservation so we were seated immediately. I'd definitely recommend this for a holiday as they were packed. It's fine dining without a huge price tag. They had a set menu for Christmas. An appetizer, a main course and a dessert to choose from. Plus for every two people you got a bottle of wine included. We all opted for the prime rib as it is so delicious and we all had several different appetizers. All which were good too. We will definitely be back. This place is even great for a date night without a sticker shock of a high end steak house. And they really do have one of the best prime ribs in town.

We arrived for dinner. We did not have reservations. You could see the dining room was busy. We were given a 9:45 pm return time. It's cool that we got a text message when our table was ready at 9:30 pm.We were one of the last few tables to leave. Most employees wore a plaid shirt and jeans. One woman had a beige like jacket and hat checked on us towards the end of the meal. Our server and assistant were nice but we needed to ask for a water refill and no ice tea refill either.
