Pizza Heroes

WOW! As a pizza snob, I am extremely picky about the pizza I consume. I recently relocated to Henderson 10 months ago and in my neighborhood I found Pizza Heroes. I was here only a month or so when I discovered them in the neighborhood. I decided to give it a try and I can only say one thing... WOW! Real pizza!!! Veronica greeted me on my first visit and she is extremely friendly and polite, a quality that you don't find too often anymore. I found out she is from Italy and I am learning the language so that is a PLUS!!! I had to try the white pizza, as it is a favorite of mine. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT, in fact, it was delicious. As a small business owner myself, I like to always support the small business owners. Tonight I had a craving for pizza and so I headed to Pizza Heroes for my 3rd or 4th time, I can't eat it everyday but I would if I could...LOL I met Gabrielle tonight, Veronica's husband and once again a fantastic person. We had a great conversation and he suggested that I get mushrooms and sausage on my white pizza... Again, WOW! What a combination? It was amazing! If you read this and you love pizza, please go get a pie from Pizza Heroes, you won't be disappointed! Thanks for great pizza and service!! Jeff S.

Pizza Hero's saved the evening with their delicious white ricotta and mozzarella 10-inch pizza! This place feels like a true family-owned gem, with a focus on quality--no added sugar in the sauce and an unsalted crust that still delivers great flavor. My order took about 15 minutes and came in a cute, thoughtfully decorated box. The homemade ranch was a perfect complement, and the pizza itself was fantastic. I'll definitely be back!

This family owned and operated pizzeria is a hidden gem in Henderson. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had, and the wings were delicious. The owners are friendly and helpful and the service was wonderful! My son is gluten and dairy free and he loved his gluten free crust and dairy free cheese. Definitely worth a trip!

Tonight we tried this place for the first time. We are torn on pizza in our home on likes and dislikes but we all agreed on this place tonight! We really enjoyed it! We ordered pepperoni pizza, a cheese pizza and a sausage, green pepper and onion pizza. Each was great. We all loved the dough. It's thin crust with perfect chew to it. The sauce is great too, although I would've enjoyed a tiny more on mine. Lastly, we ordered chicken wings and had hot sauces and ranch on the side. The wings were good. The sauces were great too! My husband picked up the meal for us and said the service was great and the place was clean and tidy. We will order from here again!

How this place has so many good reviews is beyond me. They must be paid for and bought because for $30 This is the worst pizza I've ever had. I've eaten better frozen pizza before woman who owns a place is nice, but her prices are way too high for the quality of pizza she's putting out Garlic knots basic pizza basic no real flavor. Really wish I could get a refund for it. It was that bad. I'm still thinking about it the next day.

I love pizza. I have eaten pizza from countless pizza parlors. After ordering a pizza for pickup using the 'Slice' app, I will say this: Pizza Heroes is THE BEST I have ever eaten. The pizza was cooked perfectly, every ingredient was placed with precision to make not simply a pizza, but ART. Every item was fresh and prime, perfectly ripened and full of flavor. In addition, the sauce and the crust have no added sugar or salt, which is great as I have diabetes.The service was over the top good. The 'mom' from this mom and pop shop prepared and cooked my pie. As for the ambiance there are a few tables and video games available in the seating area, with very interesting things to read on the wall concerning their origin story and their ingredients.When I bit into my pie (extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, black olives, white mushrooms) there was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. Other lesser pizzas have ingredients that mush together and create a generic 'pizza' flavor in your mouth. With this pie, every ingredient's flavor and texture stood out distinctly, and the crust had the perfect combination of rigidity (to support my topping heavy slice) and crispness from the oven, while retaining just the right amount of chew. You owe it to yourself to get a pizza from this non-chain, mom and pop (literally) establishment, and they absolutely deserve your business.

Pizza was excellent, garlic knots are soo good and the service was great. Will definitely be coming back!!!
