Pizza Alla Pala

This place has really good pizza. They sell by the slice and each slice is pretty big and I like how fluffy it is so it's pretty risen/thick. It tastes fresh and I would definitely come back. This is located in such a cute area with nice seating as well.

Pizza alla Pala is located inside the Eataly dining hall by Park MGM hotel. They offer individually-sliced Roman-style pizza (ie., pizza alla pala) that's baked on a wooden paddle, or 'pala', and presented in a long, oval form. The pizza has a thick, crispy crust and a soft, fluffy interior. They make their pizzas with organic Italian flour from Mulino Marino, extra virgin olive oil and fresh ingredients carefully selected by their chefs. Their classic pala dough is made with stone-milled, 100% organic Mulino Marino flour from Piemonte, Italy.You line/queue up and order and pay at the counter, then they give you a pager that will vibrate and flash when your order is ready. It takes around 5 minutes or so, longer if busy, to re-heat your pizza slice(s). While I really enjoyed my Margherita and Funghi (mushroom) slices, they are extremely expensive at around $12 for the Margherita slice and $17 for the Funghi slice, respectively. It is good, but not $17-a-slice good. This place can get quite busy, but luckily,I didn't have to wait that long for my pizza. Due to the price point, I'd give this spot a 4, but the quality of the pizza and lively ambiance are its saving grace, so for this, I'd give it a 4.5.Service was warm, and fairly quick. Eataly is a bit of a tourist trap, but still fun to walk around, and the food is decent, and fairly authentic compared to other Italian spots in town.

I went to Rome recently and was excited to try this place. It's not bad, but nothing to write home about either. It was average, a little dry. Took longer than I thought to get my food, considering the pizza is already ready and just reheated.

I ate here twice while staying at the hotel. The Margherita pizza is organicly good, and the Ceasars Salas was refreshing

The pizza is really good and the bread is crispy if you're into that like I am. Once you order they place it in the oven to heat up and it's about a 5 ish minute wait you'll get a buzzer that'll go off when ready. It's located inside Park MGM hotel Eataly food court.

Great svc! Friendly and helpful cust svc. Pizza crust is thick and tastes good. One thing I would suggest is a little more sauce one the pizza and more flavor but in general i like the pizza. .

This plaza is called "Eataly." When we went inside and saw six seven different booths. We saw this colorful display and make us want to eat them. We thought it's flatbread, but it's pizza. We picked the Tricolore and Capricciosa. It's really really good. Exactly what they said on the menu, "crunchy exterior with a soft, airy interior". Highly recommend this place. :)

Stopped in for a piece of pizza.... Long line.... No seating at all. 15 dollars for a piece of pizza. The flavor of the sauce was not good to me.. I ended up sharing with the mrs and said it was just ok. We wouldn't go back.

I'm not sure why this is the first review for this stand since it had such a long line, but it is the pizza by the slice booth inside of Eataly. Extra thick crispy square pizza, that is chewy and fluffy in the middle. It reminds me of a good focaccia bread.They don't allow any customizations of pizzas, and they just bang it out.$16/glass of wine. Bring in your own wine and enjoy a slice.

We just ate at the pizza place and it is wonderful. Laura and Myra are wonderful and very helpful. Totally recommend. I have never had anything bad at the Eataly location.
