Food was amazing but it was hard communicating with the servers when ordering dim sum

Came here on New Year's Day with our huge family for my birthday. They weren't doing reservations since it was a holiday, so we had to do a walk in. We had like 20+ of us, and they were also clearly busy, however, we appreciated how they were so quick to accommodate our family. It was my first birthday with my siblings & in laws together so it was very special for me while celebrating away from home. The food was great. We ordered a bunch, like noodles, soup, pork chops, etc. the only thing was the soup came out last, which threw us off. But everything else was good. The service was good too, they checked on us frequently just in case we needed anything.

This particular evening I enjoyed the Salt & Pepper Shrimp- extra spicy. The large menu from various provinces in China offers something for everyone. Always fresh, always good. Ping Pang Pong is a Vegas icon in Chinese dining for 20+years!* Super friendly employees with attention to detail in a comfortable setting.

Located in the Gold Coast Casino, there is plenty of parking and Ping Pang Pong is easy to access.When we first came to Vegas in the early 2000s, this was definitely one of the goto places for Dim Sum. Over the years, the quality has gone down a bit but is still one of the better tasting places.We get our standard beef tripe, turnip, short ribs and other items. If you go early enough, they have people pushing around the traditional dim sum carts. For this reason, some of the items are cold and not as warm. If you want warm items, we recommend placing an order with the server.The service is generally quick.

Great as drunk food, and decent Canto family style dinner. Open until 3am!! Local Vegas doesn't have good Chinese and Canto food. Weirdly, this racist sounding restaurant is one of the most legit OG Canto food in local Vegas. They have ALOT of large dinner tables. RSVP only are for parties of 12+ppl. Everyone else can just walk-in. On a weekday night, there wasn't a wait this time. Was told it is possible for a 15-20min wait.We visited 2x after midnight for late night eating. The menu given was different from the full dinner menu we received the other night. Beware of very crappy servers managers at night. One of the nights, the manger with glasses was super super disgruntled. She was nice to others around except us. So we assumed she was prejudice against younger Asian coming in after partying? It was really bad and weird. Whenever I am in Vegas, I have to make a pit stop here. However, as luck would have it, I was actually scheduled to stay & bowl at the same casino, this place is located at. So I decided to check in and grab a bite to eat, since they were still serving Dim Sum. Since it was later towards the end of cart service for the day, I was immediately sat. However, once I was seated and placed my tea order, it took about 10 minutes for any cart to come by and about 5-10 minutes for other carts to go by. So needless to say I only was able to get a few dishes. The food is generally good to great, the service is generally ok in Dim sum houses during busy peaks; but when there are only a few tables, I would think service would be a little quicker.

We went for dim sum at Ping Pang Pong and it didn't disappoint.We arrived shortly after they opened and the carts were rolling through the restaurant. Couple of the dishes were not as hot as I would expect however we ordered a couple that had to be made from the kitchen and they were excellent. The restaurant is located in Gold Coast Casino.

Came on a Sunday afternoon without a long wait. I was second in line and waited about 20 mins. The food was not bad, the dining area is nice and open which made the experience comfortable. One downside if you don't like smoke is being seated at the tables near the front of the restaurant, they are open walls so you can smell cigarettes and cigars while eating. Everything was pretty tasty or decent however the lotus wrap was the most disappointing. It was not made traditionally where the filling is all in the middle encased by sticky rice all around like usual. Whoever made it this recent visit overcooked the egg where it was rubbery, the sausage was not sliced up. The wrap was made more like a sandwich where two portions of sticky rice made into a patty sandwiched the filling. The sticky rice was either old or partially undercooked, it was not sticky and just a bit hard to eat.

2 stars for service5 stars for food The food here is absolutely delicious, but the service really isn't the best. I feel like all the staff members don't enjoy working here and you can really see it.Servers would quickly toss the dishes on the table, making a mess and also forcing us to move the dishes ourselves to the center of the table. I highly recommend coming here early if you can. My family and I came here around 5:30 and there was no wait on a Sunday. However, when we left, all tables were filled and there was a line. I highly recommend ordering their soy sauce noodles, salt and pepper pork chops, chinese broccoli, fish maw soup and their pork rib dim sum. All dishes were delicious and not overly salted or oily.Overall, I will definitely be back, however, they really need to work on their service.

I went in earlier today on thanksgiving day around 2pm and it was already packed with a line. It moved quickly but there was still a lot of people so we waited about 45 minutes. Understandable since it's a holiday. Everyone I saw waiting in line was Asian mostly Chinese so I knew it just had to be good.They have the carts here and they walked by our table pretty often and had everything we liked. From reading the reviews, we must have gotten good seating. Service was pretty much nonexistent. It was hard to flag someone down for extra condiments, water, and the bill. But for some reason the bill came quick and so did the time it was for them to collect the bill. I guess all understandable since it is a holiday.Now the food was all really good! I was surprised and impressed! I was expecting subpar and overly hyped and not that great especially being inside a casino. Everything was perfectly seasoned and not at all salty or bland. We ordered our usual dim sums; ginger tripe, honeycomb, pork and shrimp shumai, pork ribs, steamed bbq pork buns, fried calamari, chicken feet, sesame balls, gyoza, and the crab balls. Our first time for the pork ribs and crab balls and omg they were delicious! I was looking for the tendon and shrimp hargow but didn't see them. All 10 items came out to $85 which is kind of pricey but well worth it.
