Pho Hong

Food (5/5/): this was my first time visiting Pho Hong and I was originally going to get the Cambodian noodle soup or banh boi, but when we stepped in, the restaurant smelled like pho broth and I decided to get the rare steak, brisket, and flank pho instead. The pho broth was clear, flavorful, and very clean, and a regular sized bowl was plenty of food, especially for such a good price!Service (5/5): our servers were very attentive and friendly!Ambiance (5/5): I went on a weekend around noon, shortly after the restaurant opened at 11am. It wasn't very busy, but it's very spacious with plenty of parking in a safe area. Overall (5/5): it's hard to find good Vietnamese restaurants in Las Vegas, especially away from the Spring Mountain area, but I'm happy to have found such a great place in this area that I'll definitely continue to keep visiting!

My cousin is in town so I thought we give this place a try since he wanted Pho and this has the XL bowl I'm always raving about. We went in around lunch time but it's not super busy. We seated at table #3 where I can see the view of the fish tank. It's always relaxing to watch them swim around. Anyway, our server came by (I don't recall seeing him there before) so I'm guessing a new guy or owner's family member? Who knows but he needs to go! Now there's only 2 of us there. My cousin ordered #13 Special Combo, Extra Large, coffee (and he asked if it's Vietnamese iced coffee) I meant there's only ONE type of coffee available there. And a side of (2) egg rolls (and he asked if it's Spring rolls?) Then for me, it's just the same #13 Special Combo, Extra large. This order didn't seem too complicated but for the life of me (and my cousin) we don't know how he can still SCREW UP! And that's right, once I thought he took our order, he came back and ask if it's #13 that we want just to validate. Again, we ordered the same thing so I don't know how he missed that. Anyway, the (2) egg rolls came out fairly fast (that was good!) but then he brought out (2) bowls for us which confused the hell out of me. I'm thinking to myself, he couldn't have ASSUMED 2 adults SHARING one pho?!? could he be that?? nah. no freaking way! Guess what? Sure enough the guy brought out only ONE #13 Special combo, extra large for the BOTH of us like what in the freaking what?!? I get it if we were both kids and can't finish a bowl but 2 grown adults.. and even if we can't finish, we would each order a small bowl for EACH of us.. it just doesn't make ANY sense. And if he wasn't sure like the rest of the order, come back and ask!! And yes btw, he totally forgot to put down the Vietnamese coffee for my cousin.. So now we have a dilemma, there's only ONE hot bowl of soup, I offered this to my cousin but he insisted I take it (since I take my time with it) Welp, I wasn't going to turn it down. The rest of the order he forgot (#13 pho and coffee) eventually came but this shouldn't even happen from the get go. Then he had the nerve to walk by us (yes he didn't even bother to stop) and said "if everything is OK?!?" like no the hell not if you stop and ask vs just walking by like you don't even have time for us after he screwed up the order? No. no and no. Definitely staying away from this spot, maybe Pho King nearby has better service!

Employee said they stopped "confirming" DoorDash orders a week ago because they were not getting paid. However, customers can still place an order through DoorDash which is very confusing because Pho Hong has not opted out of DoorDash services. When I arrived to pick up an order for DoorDash, I was not able to pick up a customer's order.Pho Hong, please call DoorDash to let them know you no longer want to do business with them.

Large, clean restaurant. Service was fast! I got the Yummy white meat chicken pho. Ingredients were really fresh & the portions were gowill be back to try different items on their menu

My favorite Pho spot when you compare price vs. what you get. The pho is solid and they are always happy to accommodate my special orders. Even on busy nights there is lots of seating, so we usually don't have a problem. Their side pork is very tasty on its own!A couple things to mention that aren't worth taking off a star for: sometimes they close for random days, so it's a good idea to call before you go over there, just to make sure they are open. I'm also bummed they got rid of their delivery service. They used to have an in-house delivery service which was fast an efficient, but like most places, they outsourced it to Grubhub, where it's much more now, unfortunately.

I ordered to-go and the XL combination pho was just okay. The rare steak comes raw, so i reboiled my hot soup so the meat would cook properly after I poured it into my bowl. The tendon came frozen as well so I boiled all my meet and tripe with the soup just to kill off any potential bacteria. I felt like the soup was bland so I added a lot of fish sauce and oyster sauce at home and then it was delicious. But I'd like to save myself the trouble from all the flavoring I had to add. Rare steak raw is on point though. Big and spacious interior good for groups. Would potentially come back to try other things.

Stopped in to try out this spot. I ordered the chicken pho white meat. The broth was good a little on the needing flavor side. But the chicken was tender compared to other pho places where they tend to dry it out. I like my pho spicy so I added the chili oil and jalapeños and chili garlic sauce along with the sriracha and hoisin. The service was good they were fast and attentive. The ambiance was regular food spot ambiance. Place has good lighting and very open and spacious lots of seats for people to dine in. Overall the pho was great would've gotten five stars if their broth was just a little bit brothier.

First off I'm going to say that the food was pretty tasty here and it's the only reason it's holding at a 3 star for me. When you walk in the ambiance is nice and the floor plan is open and doesn't feel crowded. We had the Pho, grilled pork with rice, salt pepper shrimp and the chicken Bahn mi. The reason why I have a 3 star and not anything higher is because the portions you get for the price isn't good, I loved the salt pepper shrimp and it's probably the best one I've had here in Vegas so far but that one dish alone can't carry this place to a 5 star. It took a little for someone to come take our order after bringing the menu, we also didn't get enough water for all 5 of us at the table so I guess we are supposed to share 3 cups. After we ordered the food came, we were missing one dish so we gave it some time since it was the grilled pork and rice, so after 10 minutes I had to flag the guy down to ask and he said I never ordered that but he clearly repeated our order back to us when he first took the order. Here we are waiting on the last dish so I ended up eating after all my family had finished their food. After I finished they took forever to bring the check, it felt like they were not out in the front for a good while so I couldn't flag them down to pay them. So I'm not to sure if I'll be back again just because the service was slow, and the food is overpriced for the portion they give.

So we have been trying to find a GREAT PHO place near home. Sitting here right now at Pho Hong. Haven't been here in 5 years or more. New owners since we were here before. Totally different experience. Place is CLEAN. Delicious food. Service amazing. Will be our new spot for Pho from now on. 5 Stars!!!!

Best spring rolls and chicken pho I've tried in Vegas, customer service is on point, always greeted with a big smile and sports are always on the tv! Love it!
