The Peking Duck was my favorite as the skin was braised super well and the duck meat was tender. Loved the aesthetic of the whole restaurant, definitely would recommend if you're craving dim-sum in Vegas.

Happy to see Vegas is stepping up in their dim sum game We order a bunch of dishes and most were pretty good beside the hot and sour soup... The shrimp toast and Peking duck is the best dish. Would definitely come back again.

Palate Tea Lounge is 100% made for the 'Gram! The decor is stunning, and every dish is plated with so much creativity--you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the whole experience. Just on aesthetics alone, I'd give it four stars.Service was also a big highlight. The Chinese manager and the Peruvian waitress were super friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of--five-star service for sure! Now, onto the food. While the presentation is top-notch, I think the flavors and textures could use a little more refinement. I would give them three stars. The one dish that truly wowed me was the xiao long bao (pork soup dumplings) with caviar--the way the heat from the soup dumpling melted the caviar, making the broth even richer, was such a genius touch. But for most other dishes, the concept and visuals stood out more than the actual taste, which was a bit of a letdown. That said, I'd still come back--mainly for the photos!

The restaurant is beautiful inside, from the Chinese decor, to the colorful lanterns, the "river" table at the front of the restaurant all made this place enjoyable to eat inside. For our meal, we ordered the black truffle chow fun, which was very tasty and a good amount (3-4 pax). Next was the sweet soy tiger prawns which was our favorite. It was crispy, sweet, salty, and they all blended very well. We also had the crispy typhoon shrimp dumpling, which was not as good. It was not flavorful, small shrimp piece, tasted more of a fried dough.Once the bill came, the restaurant charges a 3% fee to pay with credit card, very unexpected. Overall, the food is great, a bit pricey compared to others, however the ambiance can make up for it.

Unique dim sum experience but the experience overshadowed the food. Worth a try if you're in town but wouldn't bump something else for this. We ordered 6 items and only two were of note. -Pork soup dumplings (2/5): Overhyped and mostly presentation. It comes out on the usual bamboo tray with four dumplings but the soup spoons they come on are ridiculously hot. Like burn you hot. By the time you can safely remove the spoons, the dumplings have cooled. The vinegar tapioca balls were novel but didn't add anything special to the flavor. Texture and flavor were also just meh. Skip this one. -Crispy dumpling with minced pork filling (aka the cute duck thing) (2/5): It's so cute how could I not get it? Glad I did but just so you know, it's quite bland in flavor. The body of the duck is the actual dumpling which is just tapioca starch wrapped around minced pork. Skip this too. -Typhoon shrimp dumplings (1/5): Did I get something different than what others were raving about? This was a fried dumpling with chopped shrimp. Again bland. The sauce did nothing to help. -Wagyu beef crepe (4/5): This was generously stuffed with Wagyu beef and a good dish overall. -Crispy crab claw (3/5): Generous amount of shrimp/crab around the actual claw but otherwise just the normal dim sum item. I actually prefer the usual fried coating than the sesame one they had. -Smoked teriyaki sea bass (4.5/5): Never seen this presentation before. Flavorful and well cooked - the sea bass was lightly fried but still tender. Worth trying. -Hot tea (5/5): Came out on a warming plate so tea stayed hot through the meal, which I really appreciate. The sauce was cute but I quickly found the palettes on my plate were too small to actually be effective to dip. Impractical in application for sure. Service was 5/5 though. Tea always topped off and plates cleared quickly.

Goshdarnit those painter's palette plates with the little divots for the delicious and colorful sauces is so cute and fun, and reason enough to come here, but don't forget the five stars vibes, service, and aesthetics too.Given the major praise, beautiful presentations, premium pricing, and surrounding area rich in options for similar cuisine, I had really high expectations for the food, and while much of it was tasty, unfortunately it just wasn't worth the premium to me.The golden fried hargow were quite unique and delicious. I loved the crispy garlic covering the plate. The pro move is to dip in the green sauce, take a bite, then dunk again and then hit the garlic! The rice rolls were good, but the wagyu we had was a bit tough in places and contained some crunchy gristle too. Radish cakes are typically my favorite, but these were served with some fermented seafood paste, which I usually love, but didn't love this here.Sadly the iberico char siu came out incredibly tough, gristley and not edible. They quickly took it back when we mentioned it. Lastly we tried the chick shaped glutinous rice dumpling. It had good flavor but the ratio was off and there was more rice than filling.Everything we ate had good flavor, came hot, and at a nice pace and this would be a fun place to come with a crowd. For me, I found that I prefer the more traditional dim sum experiences.

The dishes use unusual ingredients for dimsum. We ordered lobster ha gow, crispy rice with imagine, soft shell crab Croce crep and others. My favorite was black truffle Siu Mai. Generally pretty good. Service was good as well.
