If you're a seafood lover, The Oyster Bar at Durango Casino is an absolute must-visit! The pan roast is beyond amazing--rich, creamy, and packed with incredible flavor. It's hands-down one of the best I've ever had! The seafood is always fresh, and the flavors are perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spices. The service here is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes sure you have a great experience from start to finish. Yes, the line can be long, but it's 100% worth the wait. Once you take that first bite, you'll know why people keep coming back!If you're craving amazing seafood and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back for another pan roast soon!

This place and the food So many great things to say about the Oyster bar in the Durango! Farha was such an awesome server. Very attentive and interacted so well with all the patrons. We both got the pan roast. Mine the crab and my friends was the combo She asked us our "heat" level. I'll tell ya, I got a 6! That was definitely packed with some heat! I broke a little sweat so delicious. Our wonderful chef was Chris. He had a great sense of humor and did an amazing job preparing our food. It was dinner and a show to say the least! Thank you guys, we will be back!

Sometimes you don't feel like waiting in line for 2 hours to get delicious food, and that's why oyster bar has so many other locations. I think the Durango location was just about as good as the Palace Station and we only had to wait 15 mins to sit down. We ordered the Pan Roast and Clam Chowder. I got a 7/10 spicy level and it made me sweat a little but tasted incredible. As always, one of my favorite meals here in Vegas.

First time dining here at the Oyster Bar in the newly built Durango hotel. A fairly quick drive from the Strip which meant a much shorter wait for their legendary pan roast. We arrived at around 11 on a Saturday morning and waited for about 20 minutes prior to being seated. There were enough open seats for our party but sucks that patrons opt to space themselves out. We were lucky that a couple noticed we were waiting and quickly ate while two younger women took their sweet time.Started off the meal with their cajun shrimp and oysters on the half shell. Loved both and we ended up ordering another dozen after the food arrived. Do note their horseradish has a nice kick so mix carefully. Next up were the little neck clam steamers which everyone loved. We ended up sharing the Durango pan roast, bouillabaisse and jambalaya. All were tasty but my go to is definitely the pan roast. The pan roast was so good, ended up ordering 3 to take home!Service was good and the chef who made our food was super friendly.

Food: this location does NOT have linguine and clams. I sat down to find this out and was massively bummed out. However, I tried the bouillabaisse instead and it was really delicious. It's a super tasty fish soup with so many kinds of different seafood inside. Service: this is the slowest location I've been to. They only had one cook at first and then at the end another showed up late I guess. Our food took forever. Ambiance: only bar seating with limited seats located in the food court of the Durango.

We are hugggeeee fans of the original oyster bar at the palace station so we had to check out the new location inside Durango casino. I was scared we were going to have to wait in line similar to the Palace Station, but... to our surprise! Zero line and no one at the table when we arrived on a Friday morning at 11:17am. We sat to the very right anticipating the table to fill up fast. It actually didn't and only 3 other couples joined in the entirety of our stay.Happy to know they have hooks for your bags. I didn't have to awkwardly shove it behind me.The menu seemed to be the same as palace station's oyster bar & my eyes went directly to their pan roast, our all time fave. And of course, oysters! Their oysters came from Louisiana that day and it was the perfect amount of sea haha. Shucked and cleaned well, so no complaints here. The pan roast was delicious, but I will say it did taste a tad bit different from Palace station, which I think is more creamy. Regardless, so delicious and there was no wait! I'll take it!

This place, at any time, can have line. So, be prepared to wait if you're going on a more traditional dining time. On this evening, we weren't planning on going to the Oyster Bar, but there was no one in line and we'd be the first. So, we hopped into the number one position. About five minutes later we were seated. We've been to the other Stations Oyster Bars but I didn't know this one didn't have pasta. I was looking forward to trying their linguine white clams - but there was no pasta. So - pivot! They provide complimentary bread to start. We tried the Shrimp Pan Roast and the Chicken Gumbo. Both are huge portions. You can't even eat anything before and after it - or plan on taking most of it with you. The Shrimp Pan Roast had smaller shrimp than I thought they would use. I guess I thought they would use more prawn size. The shrimp in the pan roast was quite small. The flavor was good, but not a dish that would have me coming back. The Chicken Gumbo was a bit better. Plenty of chicken and vegetables were in it. Both dishes are served with a side scoop of white rice as well. This also makes it a very filling entree. You get a good portion for the money, but flavor-wise, it was a solid good. I think I prefer the other Stations' Oyster Bars over this one - Palace and Santa Fe.

The Durango location for Oyster Bar is less packed compared to the Palace Station location. This is definitely a plus since the food here is always tremendous. The quality of the pan roasts are the same and are a must visit nowadays during a Vegas weekend. I love the watching the Pan Roasts being cooked right in front of you and the flavors are one of a kind! My go to order here is the Durango pan roast. Portions are generous and usually take the rest for the room. The Oyster Bar brand is a Vegas classic!

I'm still thinking about how great the seafood jackpot was that I had here at The Oyster Bar. Chef Chris is very personable and great to chat with about seafood if he's not busy with orders. You can watch everyone prep your food in the live-view kitchen from your spot at the bar top. Like all Oyster Bar locations, the lines can get long for a seat, so be prepared to wait because it's unlikely that you'll just waltz into enough free seats for your party. My starter: Seafood jackpot $63.99 (now $64.99) Assortment of chilled shrimp cocktail, oysters, clams and lobster tail.It came with 1 lobster tail, 3 shrimp, 3 clams, 3 oysters with Thai aioli & cocktail sauce. It was served in a metal bowl over ice with lemons and seaweed. My main: Bouillabaisse $34.99 Shellfish stew featuring shrimp, crab lobster, cod, mussels and clams. Served with steamed rice. In consisted of 3 green lipped mussels. 5 shrimp with white rice and topped with kiing crab. As a Celiac, they made extra precautions to wash out the cauldron thing that they use to make the individual hot dishes. I wouldn't say it's bad but I definitely prefer the seafood jackpot to this dish.Cocktail: Hurricane watch $15Bacardi, passion fruit, pineapple, lime, tropical Red Bull (I asked that they sub extra pineapple juice for Red Bull because I don't like Red Bull.) I liked it quite a lot.In addition to house water I got a grapefruit Pellegrino for $5.Overall, if you're gluten-free and like shellfish, the seafood jackpot is the freshest, tastiest food item at Durango. It's so good that I had to stop by the Oyster Bar when I was at Red Rock for the same dish. It's so good!
