Incredible food, exceptional service and a great view. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and the Mac n cheese was incredible.

While there's no shortage of steakhouses in Las Vegas, Oscar's stands out the most in downtown Las Vegas. Shout out to bartender Dan/Daniel who kept us entertained at the bar and served us up the best cocktails in town while waiting for our table.Oscar's is located at the Plaza hotel and casino, they're positioned high overlooking Fremont Street Experience.Luckily we had a large enough party that people ordered mostly different items and we got to try a good spread of seafood platter, steaks, and sides. When we were eating, the GM swung by to check on us to see if we were doing good. Server was on top of his game too. I noticed the restaurant was running like a well-oiled machine. It's worth noting that we had a party of 8+ and there was no performance issue at all. Staff worked well together given how busy it was during rodeo week (I'm assuming as lot of cowboys was inside the plaza and Oscar's). 10/10, I definitely will be returning and do recommend Oscar's.

We ordered the tomahawk, crab legs with a side of Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. We visited in January which tends to be a little slower of a month however it was somewhat busy and took a bit for someone to take our order. When the food arrived the steak was a little on the colder side. Even the complimentary bread was a miss and was over baked. The crabs legs were okay and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese. The restaurant itself was cool but I don't think we would go back.

Had a great time here with my family! Our server was so kind and answered all my questions with care! Really recommend the tomahawk and mac and cheese (too good!). The crème brûlée was also so soft and the perfect amount of sweetness!I sat outside and it wasn't too cold during the winter but would have preferred inside due to the blazing Vegas lights outside (personal preference!)

My first time here. I'm impressed. I tried roasted bone marrow for the first time ever. I'd describe it as a unique savory flavor that stands on its own. The waiter suggested it pairs nicely with a filet mignon. Branzino! The reason why G*d created leeks, was for it to be included in the recipe for the sauce... for this fish dish! The sauce also includes caviar! The sea bass was deboned. Perfection! The steaks were cooked to order as requested and were very good.Crazy Phil's French Onion Soup was very good and very temperature hot! Served too hot, IMO. Luckily, I figured it out quickly without injury, and cooled each bite.Creme Brulée was very creamy and not overly sugary sweet (hurray). We had a very nice view of the Fremont Street Experience. I would describe the restaurant space as what I would imagine it may be like being in a UFO domed dining hall. The service and food were excellent. Dress can be casual or elegant. It's really your choice, they don't care. There are some tables, a bar with barstool seating, and classic crescent-shaped tufted leather dining booths reminiscent of old Vegas lounges-but no live music. A lot of photo memorabilia focused around the namesake, Oscar Goodman. I don't understand why a baby picture with Oscar's face superimposed on it is placed in a spot so that one sees it as you turn the corner to enter the ladies room. It's disturbing IMO. Other than that baby photo, the dining experience was excellent.

I love a good restaurant with some kind of background and history. Thank you Oscar Goodman for creating this steakhouse. Reservations were made via Opentable for an anniversary dinner on a random Wednesday evening. Our server Miguel was attentive throughout our dinner service without being overbearing. He constantly made sure we were satisfied with everything from our food to our drinks. We ordered the following:Downtown Smash cocktail: deep eddy vodka, fresh lime, muddled strawberry & blackberry.Lawless Lychee: non-alcoholic beverage. really light and refreshing with lychee flavoring, lime and elderflower tonic. I really enjoyed this because it's not just a fruit juice, you get a fizzy carbonated feeling if that makes sense. Skuna Bay Salmon: requested to be prepared well done. The flavoring of their sauce and the added cilantro and onions compliment the salmon so well. Oscar's 24 oz Bone-In Ribeye: husband was moaning the entire time lololol! He gave me a few pieces to try and my eyes rolled to the back of my head. The meat is soooo tender, juicy and prepared to perfection. Mmm mmm! Writing this review just made my mouth watered! We order the broccolini almondine and thick cut fries as sides. Our favorites. Crispy brussel sprouts would have been another choice. The ambiance, service and the quality of everything we ordered left us with such a pleasant experience.

The service was impressive, while the food has its inconsistencies.8/27/2024. We were seated shortly after checking-in due to we had reservations via OpenTable.Food.Bread service. Although the rolls looked mouthwatering, they were a bad start. They tasted old and low quality just like the rolls you can purchase at Food 4 Less for about $2.Short rib ravioli ($31): these were magnificent. The noodles were thin and al dente, which allowed the tender and savory beef short rib to shine with a hint of truffle, 5/5 stars! They've provided us with a double order, but of course we did not send the extra order back, as we've devoured them all.Bone-in 24oz Ribeye ($69): the exterior was overly charred; however, the interior was perfectly cooked to a medium-rare. It was well-seasoned and had the infamous fat marbling that you'd expect from a prime ribeye, 4/5 stars.Prime rib ($59) was perfection. It was tender, cooked rare, well-seasoned, and massive in size, 5/5 stars!Mushrooms ($14): tender and perfectly seasoned with a slight tang, 5/5 stars! Creamed spinach ($14): typical, and I need to stop ordering this side dish due to it's mediocrity, 3.5/5 stars.Créme brûlée ($15): perfection! This had a cold and silky (but settled) custard that was complimented by the warm crispy caramelized crust. The sweetness was just right at the middle of the scale, 5/5 stars! Cheesecake ($15): this was better than average. It was creamy, mildly sweet with just a touch of tang, and matched well with the generous amount of graham cracker crust, 4/5 stars. Carrot cake ($15): this was dry, but the frosting was on point. To their defense, it is difficult to find an elevated carrot cake, 3/5 stars.Onto the fantastic service. Each course was delivered in a timely manner and our drinks were always refilled. Our server would periodically check on us and made sure that we had everything that we needed for a great dining experience. She even noticed, after the first course, that one of our fellow diners is lefthanded and she would then set the utensils on his left side for the remaining courses. That attention to detail is exceptional!

Love this place! Great view of Fremont street experience. Large bar area for walk/in dining and outdoor patio for those warm nights. Service is super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. No matter what you order, you will love it and the prices are fair. I ordered the short rib ravioli this time and will definitely order it again. The bone marrow add-on came in a massive portion for a great price! Thanks again for a beautiful experience.
