Ohlala French Bistro

Wow, incredible neighborhood restaurant!! Found this lovely French bistro on Yelp and we loved it so much we have been back a few times. When you walk in there is a tiny space to stand with black sheets covering the inside view to the restaurant. It was kind of strange at first but then once we were greeted and seated, it was nice to have the separation from the dining area and the entry. Inside was beautifully decorated and service has been super friendly. Love that they are open for lunch and dinner and I could see dinner service being packed. Make sure you make reservations as it's a smaller restaurant. Food here is incredible! We love the goat cheese covered in pistachios. The spice mix on it is so unique. The beet salad with goat cheese and orange supremes is so refreshing. We love the burger here, simple, juicy and delicious. The desserts are good as well. The creme brûlée was tasty but we loved the lemon tart. The tartness cut down on the sweetness and was a nice palate cleanser from the heavier meal.

Mom was very excited to take me to her "little local French place." It's cozy and small yet is well laid out to host a good number of tables. They don't have a "War and Peace" sized wine list, which is good for simplification, and the selections they do offer are well rounded and varied with solid producers. The foie was great. Both dishes we got were very high quality and super delicious. Attentive, friendly service. Definitely check this little hidden gem out!

Dinner was in celebration of Beaujolais Night. We had a 6 PM reservation and were immediately seated in a comfortable table. Our server Monica greeted shortly after being seated but did not return but another server took our drink order and explained that the servers were a little backed up. We ordered the specials French Onion Soup, Foie Gras, and Beef Bourguignon.The soup is one of the best. A delicious broth and caramelized onions with gooey cheese. The Foie Gras is served with jam and several pieces of toast. A very tasty appetizer. I would prefer a little more jam. We shared an order of the Beef Bourguignon which was large enough for some take home. The Beef is served with fettuccine, onions and carrots. The beef and carrots were fork tender and the celery had a nice crunch. I did encounter a large piece of grizzle. The fat is all about adding flavor but I would have preferred to have it removed. Overall it's a delicious entrée. Thanks to the chef for splitting the entrée into 2 bowls.On this evening owner Richard was greeting people and stopping by the tables to check our satisfaction. It was nice to see them doing a brisk business.

It is an intimate dining area and the staff was wonderful. We came for lunch and were seated right away. The owner was also present and engaged with customers. They have a good wine selection and a 2 or 3 course lunch special. We decided to do the 2 course entree and dessert and added the beef tartare. The food was excellent including the desserts: one of my favorite crème brûlées that I've tried. The price is good and the portions are big. I highly recommend this place.

Though quite far from me, I was glad I was able to give this spot a try. The inside is dark and intimate and has music playing at just the right level. The entire menu is actually pretty small which hopefully means they put a lot of attention into each item. If I had to have one gripe, it would be that the majority of their entrees are on the pricier side, which is why we ended up choosing some of the more modestly priced options. The meal started with fresh bread and butter which actually seemed a bit flavorless to me, though maybe I'm just used to salted butter. My date got the salmon pasta which she devoured and I got the hachi parmentier , which is a French cottage pie very similar to shepard's pie but with the addition of tomatoes and topped with cheese. It was delicious and quite filling. The potatoes on top really held in the heat so it was piping hot over the course of our entire meal. We also got two glasses of wine which were both tasty and their lemon meringue pie which was free with a Yelp check-in! Love it when a plan comes together! The pie itself was tart and sweet but not too much of either, which in my book meant it was perfectly balanced. The meringue on top was the best I've ever had. It was almost like a marshmallow it was so thick and sticky. I would love to come back hear and try some more of their dishes at some point but maybe as a more of a special occasion type of meal, not just for an average Thursday night meal, though this was definitely not average.

Delicious! I love the French onion soup. It is so very flavorful and satisfying. Thank you for using onion broth! I always want to order on a Monday. Of course, the only day they're not open. I'd be remiss, if I didn't mention their scrumptious vegan risotto.

Delicious French dinner! They had an excellent wine selection too. So many delicious options for entrees and appetizers. Service was great and gave spot on recommendations. The ambiance was romantic with the dim lights and tabletop candles

I would simply travel far and wide to come here! The ambiance is immaculate, the food is incredible! The owner is from France so it's authentic as you can get in Vegas. The service is always amazing as well.Things I've ordered that I highly recommend:- Brie Burger 10/10- Salmon Plate 10/10 - The toasts are so perfectly crispy and the créme fraiche is delightful.- Warm Pistachio Crusted Goat Cheese 10/10 - It's sweet, savory and tangy.- Escargots 12/10 - MUST order every time. The amount of garlic is exactly what I'm expecting when I order Escargots.MERCI

I recently dined at Ohlala in Las Vegas, and everything was absolutely delicious! The French onion soup had rich, deep flavors, and the mussels were fresh and perfectly cooked. I also tried the salmon croissant, which was flaky and packed with flavor. The service by Monica and Abby was wonderful, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for tasty French cuisine with excellent service!This is the second time dined in did not disappoint Happy 8th anniversary!! that tells something.Nice decor and lots of parking.

From the moment we walked in and got sat at our table- every thing was awesome!! The service? Great. The food? Amazing. The wine? Yum.And to top it off the owner/chef rounded on everyone. Great night all around!!
