Got nothing but love and respect for the owners and workers of this store. I come here with my big brother who first introduced me to NKEM African and Carribean Market and since my first days of coming here to get our beloved spicebun and their choices in jerk sauces, browning and most things you can find back on the islands Id love to see this place get more attention and traffic... The low rated comments are funny but there's nothing better than a place who brings me my homes flavors...

The store had a bad odor and everything was in disarray. The store was a mess nothing seemed fresh. I went in there for some Shea butter and they had it in ziplock baggies with a price sticker on it! The health department needs to tend to this establishment

I came here looking for ingredients to make a few African dishes and they had everything I needed ! All the spices & meats you could need. Smoked fish, and plenty of flour. I had trouble finding one ingredient and the guy working there was quick to help. The prices are good and the selection is great.

You will find your basic necessities for African cuisine, but not much to choose from. A BIG plus are the prices, there isn't anything over inflated here at all. We found everything we needed here to make light soup. They just moved to a new location on S. Maryland, so the above address is not correct, also there isn't signage yet, so you may want to call first and make sure you have the right address.

They have everything that I need, the folks working there are wonderful, and the prices are very reasonable. What more could I ask for? :-) :-) :-)

Cashier is NOT friendly at all. Very unhelpful. Moves slower than a sloth! Doesn't know an answer to any question asked in the store. Smile for crying out loud! I'm sure you're not being forced to work!
