Nice Indoor Park In the Sam's Town Hotel [Las Vegas NV]While I did not experience the laser and light show the indoor park was still nice to visit in the daytime. I went for a visit on a Sunday afternoon. The park was pretty with a gazebo in the courtyard, a recreation of a wooded area with lush greenery, animatronic wildlife, and a gushing waterfall. It is free to walk inside, relax, and enjoy a peaceful setting. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy selfies and take a photo.Looking forward to returning and watching the laser and light show, maybe during winter when the park comes alive with its lighted trees and snow-covered lampstands and all the wintery stuff during the holiday season.Sam's Town is in East Las Vegas... probably a good 20 mins from The Strip. The Mystic Falls Show at the Mystic Falls Park in Sam's Town Hotel and Gambling Hall is one of the free shows you can see in Las Vegas. Head East on E Flamingo Rd (about 20 minutes from Las Vegas Blvd and you will see Sam's Town Hotel. Mystic Falls Park is right in the middle surrounded by the hotel. The Mystic Falls Show is the main attraction in the park, but they do have a bar in the park. The animatronic animals are a little outdated, overall they are cute. We saw the Holiday show which had dancing waters paired with traditional Christmas music. The Mystic Falls show is basically a smaller version of the Bellagio dancing waters show. They have the space decorated with lights and the animatronic friends are decked out too. During the evening hours they have a special holiday light show every hour on the hour. Check signage when you go. The only drawback was that I had to walk through the cigarette smoke filled casino from the garage to find the park. There are shops and dining options around the park area for your pleasure as well.

Super cute nightly 10 minute light and water show at Sam's Town. Arrive 15-30 min before the show to get prime seating. For adults grab a drink at the bar and watch the free Disney-esque show! For kids, get right up close to the fountains! Bellagio fountain meets Disney's World of Color shows, but make it indoor and off the strip. All dressed up for Christmas is a pretty time to go!

The concept of this place is actually pretty nice. I expected the place to be outdoors but was shocked to see it was indoors. My family came at night and I feel that it was a mistake because of how dark it was. Would recommend coming during daylight to see the pretty plants.

A pretty cool free attraction. It probably is the most interesting thing at Sam's Town, other than seeing the tweakers act crazy. Mystic Falls Park is a large atrium located in the middle of the hotel. Even though it's inside it feels like it's outside, with all the smells and sounds like the water cascading and it seems realistic for being fake. The best part is the light show which happens at set times. It has a free show called the Sunset Stampede that has scheduled times that happen at the top of the hour. Lights come on and it's very cool looking. Then water comes popping up. All of this is free. Good way to spend a little time. Currently it occurs at 6, 8, and 10 P.M. and lasts for a few minutes. At the middle is a bar. This is open during the show. Fun to watch and get some drink while enjoying it. This is a good activity for the family because it isn't too long to hold attention of kids and it's safe. For the holidays there's a few changes. It has custom shows based on the holidays. There's instead seasonal music and the inside gets made to look like winter.

Visiting here you'll be treated to a really cool water show!When you arrive, stroll through the atrium and you'll soon be hearing the music and seeing the lights :-)Each show lasts between 15 and 20 minutes; they're all very lifelike; it's totally worth the time it takes to come and see.My favorite way to do this is to sit at the bar, enjoy a cocktail and a show at the same time - free is my favorite price!

So I've walked through Mystic Falls Park and I've seen the animatronic show during the year, but never during Christmas. It's cute but it does feel a bit dated and quite cheesy. It's very good for kids. Every time I've gone there's been a queue up at least 10 min before (for the best vantage point) so it has to be a bit popular. I finally went during Christmas and let me tell you, Mystic Falls Park is a 3.5 the rest of the year but during Christmas, it's a 7! Hahaha! Yes, a full 2 points above perfect. Why? The show is spectacular. Great choice of music. The laser light show is on point. They really invested in a great system. It's so clear and visually stunning. I want one for my house!!! The "snow" that falls on you is clean and doesn't leave you feeling that weird slick that some other bubble machines do. The Christmas decorations around are too cute as well. Great photo opportunities. Another sidenote as to why I like it here, there's no marked smell. You'd think a room with a huge water feature would smell a bit dank or chemical-ly. Nope.

Looking for some free entertainment in Las Vegas?Come to Sam's Town where there are four shows a day: 2pm, 6pm, 8pm and 10pmI like this free laser light/water show. The mountain lion, eagle, wolf, and bear move in a mechanical way, but it's still cute and fun to me! There's a mist, a waterfall, animal sounds, and magic!!!The show lasted about 8 minutes at the Mystic Falls Park at Sam's Town. If you have spare time, check it out...you might be amused! When you go at Christmas time, the holiday decorations will surely put you in the mood for the season!

A nice retreat in East Vegas for locals seeking to breathe for a moment. Kid friendly. Waterfall and daily Light show a must see. No admission fees. Nature in the middle of pollution city, albeit indoors. A nice way to find some solace amidst the Chaos. Worth the trip.
