I was reading some reviews and it looks like thi yelp page just changed names from Nalsoo to Mura. Not sure if they are under new mgmt with a new name or what but just an FYI.Ok so clearly I was super excited bc my son loves all kinds of BBQ (Korean and Japanese) but I love Shabu Shabu so to find a spot that had both was perfect! It was our first time here so wasn't really sure what to expect.We were seated right away and our server was really attentive, at first. We put our order in and then we hit up the salad bar area for our noodles, veggies and sauces. Heads up the salad bar area is pretty small especially if you compare it to many of the Shabu Shabu places in town but the selections were decent. Shabu broth, Chinese mala is spicy and good! Meats were good too. Not many selections but I'm all about the pork belly so it was good for me.Bbq meat was good too, lots of selections for that.Why 3 stars, service. Ok service was great at first he was attentive and checked in on us once after our food got dropped. Then he was nowhere to be found. It was so bad my son had to physically get up and go find him to ask him to come to our table. We clocked it, we looked for him for almost 15 min. Now with time frame on the AYCE and 15 min is wasted looking for your server bc you want to put in your 2nd order of meats that time limit seems a bit unfair. Nonetheless. We even asked the server that was helping the table next to us if she could get our server and she just waved at us like "ya sure" but nothing. We asked a busser and he gave us some gesture like he didn't understand us. So service overall started great as needed horrible. Food was good and price was decent.

Wow! This has a bit of everything - hot put, Korean BBQ, and sushi! It took a while for our large group to get seated. It was unclear if they took reservations or not, because we did see some people who arrived after us walk into the restaurant and get seated ahead of us... Meanwhile, it seems like you put your name on the list and then just wait... and wait... But they do have a mini-market that you can browse while waiting that includes frozen meats and condiments. Once we got seated, our server explained the menu to us. We was super friendly and helpful! Since it was a weekend, we ordered option "B", which has some good meats, plus all of the options from "A". We quickly placed an order, but he told us that he would be back checking on us often, so we could always order more. There was someone in our group who had some dietary restrictions, but our server was happy to explain what items on the menu could accommodate that restriction. Despite being a jack-of-all-trades sort of restaurant, I thought that they maintained quality across all three types of foods served. The sushi rolls were surprisingly good! They have some of the more creative rolls. Their bbq meats were also good quality and they gave decently sized portions - not too little, but not too much that you can't try other options. I think our favorite meat was the LA Kalbi. The broths for the hot pot were delicious! I tried the tonkatsu and it was so rich and flavorful. I periodically just slurped the hot pot broth! I think that my only complaint is about the overall service (not our server - he was absolutely wonderful). I think that they were a bit slow to remove some of the plates. It's a must with an AYCE place, and it seemed like some of the food came out slowly - we had to quick a few times with our server to make sure that our food wasn't forgotten, but he was super accommodating and happy to help.

Best of both worlds shabu shabu and jbbq. This is their second location and closer to us and so we've been coming here at least once a week. Kirsh was our server and was very attentive checked in on us often. Place is spacious and great for big groups. It's well ventilated and place does not get smokey. Broths for shabu - tonkatsu/mala/sukiaki Meats go ahead and get the wagyu lover which allows you all the meats from the other sections. Sad they no longer offer ice cream or melona bars and now they have a snow ice machine which was just ok. So worth it. You leave here with a happy tummy!

The Korean bbq is solid here.My favorite by far is the wagyu box, honestly just order several boxes of that. But it's definitely nice to order some of the carpaccios, hot pot, and the side bar.The inside is very modern and nice, and it's easy to order from the tablet device.Nice spot since it's not too crowded.

Ate here for Christmas Eve and had a great meal. Sushi was fresh, hot pot had all the dipping sauces I like, bbq was good. Two things that were a drawback: holiday meant that the $26 weekday special wasn't available. I had a child with me. Although only 3, is tall and had to pay $8 as they go by height. As of this Christmas Eve, childrens prices were as follows: Under 3' child is free. 3'-4' is $8 and 4'-5' is half price. After 5' it's full price. Tall children should eat. The server was upfront with the costs over the phone so it wasn't a surprise and stated the holiday prices, but it included more special meats so we enjoyed it. The self serve dessert is a bonus and it wasn't overly crowded at the salad and sauce bar. It was well lit and navigating around the restaurant was not difficult.I only wish they had whole leaf lettuces for wrapping rather than the salad cut leafs.

The first time we came here the service was fantastic. This time it left more to be desired. Still great setup and we had a better table this time but the service left much to be desired. Whether it was because they were understaffed perhaps but the attention was lacking. They offered free sake last time but when we asked our server about it he said - "that's a bit much" and walked away. Maybe they were having an off day but we kept asking for the same things repeatedly and waiting. It wasn't the same. Food's still great though. Would give them another shot

The food was amazing, and the customer service was incredible. It was a very nice place that provided many different options for food such as hotpot, sushi, and Korean barbecue.

Mura has some of the best quality meats for the price.The service and ambience is always top notch, with friendly staff. Ray was our server and he was super welcoming from the start!Definitely don't skip out on the shaved ice machine after!
