In Vegas less than 24 hours and I still had to work this onto my itinerary! I live in San Diego where we have a lot of great ramen option, but even so, I think Monta is on par with some of San Diego's best offerings. And at Vegas pricing, probably 20% cheaper than SD. This place is so consistent. Probably been coming here close to 10 years and every time it tastes the same- delicious! This time, I had the tonkatsu ramen, kimchee fried rice and gyoza. Big back, I know. We came really early, like 5pm so we would let have to wait.

After road tripping across Utah for a week, we were extremely deprived of Asian food. Monta was on the list of Asian foods and we decided to eat here before we left LV. As we walked in, we were greeted by friendly employees, some of which I heard speaking Japanese. We each ordered a ramen and shared a takoyaki. I got the classic tonkotsu ramen which really hit the spot. I've never been to Japan for ramen there myself, but the party I went with has been and they said the flavor is comparable to the ramen they had there. That's saying a lot! However, I personally thought it was tasty but nothing extraordinary. The takoyaki were better, in my opinion, and came out piping hot. Don't burn your tongue because those are hot inside!

first time here and loved it! -this is a small ramen shop in a busy shopping center. -5-6 tables max and a L shaped bar seating-simple and clean decor-server was very polite and lovely -prices are on the lower side compared to most ramen spots -menu is small but perfectly on point for a ramen joint-flavors are not too intense in a good way. Mild but tasty.. -portion were not too big and not too small. I would definitely recommend it and would go back again.

Oh man. Where to begin? My all-time favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Back when I lived here as a local, I would get Monta ramen at least once a week. Now that I'm back in California, it's not very often I get to have my favorite meal. Anytime I'm in Vegas however, I always try to get Monta ramen. We arrived right at opening and there was already a line. By noon, at least 2-3 parties waiting outside as well. My tip for Monta is to either arrive really early or order take out. Otherwise, you can expect a decent wait on slow days and a very long wait during holidays or events in Vegas that attracts crowds. We ordered the gyoza, spicy tonkotsu ramen, tonkotsu shoyu ramen, and the pork belly rice. The ramen was everything I remembered: creamy soup with a ton of toppings and a very good chew for the ramen. The pork belly rice was amazing: savory thin pork belly served on a bed of rice that has been catching the dripping sweet glaze from the pork belly. The gyoza was very tasty as well with a meaty pork and thin skin on the outside. Best of all: everything on their menu is typically less than $15 and less than $10 per small dish. Overall, Monta ramen is the best destination for cheap, delicious ramen. Do yourself a favor and stop by!

Stopped by monta after spending a whole day hiking valley of fire. We ordered:- the Tsukemen (dipping ramen in broth)- black garlic ramen- gyozaLove their black garlic ramen, I would go back again for this!Tsukemen was okay, wish the broth was hotter when it came outDumplings would have been nice if it was cooked a bit longer to get the "dumpling skirt" effectOverall, it's a very small restaurant, very classic Japanese style and the service was quick, I would come back again!

Came back again on a recent trip to Vegas. I must say, Monta never disappoints! Every single time I'm in LV, I want to eat here. We brought our grand-nieces this time and they absolutely loved it as well (and they are picky!) My go-to is always the shoyu ramen. My son got the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and I tasted the broth. Fantastic. The broth is always super clean, which is why I love it so much! I think I created two new fans!

My husband and I visited Monta Japanese Noodle House and had a great experience. The kimchi fried rice was fantastic, with a perfect hint of sourness from the kimchi. The gyoza were nicely done, and the chicken karaage had a satisfying crunch on the outside while staying juicy on the inside. The house fried rice was decent, complemented by some tasty pickled ginger on the side. The ambience was alright--small with about five tables inside. Service was exceptionally good, and while the portions are on the smaller side, the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Overall, a nice spot if you're craving Japanese flavors!
