Finally, my Vegas visit coincided with Mondays Dark! And it was period-themed, benefiting Project Marilyn. Featuring Madonna songs!!! Full disclosure: since my initial visit to Mondays Dark in 2016, they have relocated to The Space LV (in what seems to be a sketchy neighborhood, based on Mark's jokes throughout the show), and their events are biweekly now, instead of monthly. As a woman on the cusp of menopause but not as close as I'd like to be, I thoroughly appreciate a non-profit whose mission is devoted to supplying menstruation materials. Project Marilyn is dedicated to providing pads & tampons to women unable to source those supplies elsewhere. What an amazing cause! I am so pleased to have serendipitously supported this organization.I'd coerced a couple of co-workers to attend with me on May 9th (2022), which wasn't difficult since Monday happened to be our only free night before our work convention began on Tuesday. And y'all may be aware that there are no shows on the Strip on Mondays (nor on Broadway in NYC) ... hence all stages are dark. We took a Lyft each way (from Harrah's on the Strip) with zero issues. The show was nearly two full hours & I enjoyed every minute. My obscenely critical friends had notes for some of the performers, but they can write their own reviews (they won't). I will say, for myself, that every performance was outstanding, though I definitely had some favorites. I mean, MADONNA was the theme, so....TL;DR: Mondays Dark is still awesome! As I mentioned previously, each show benefits a local non-profit, so you can pretend you're charitable in Sin City. This biweekly fundraising event is a great way to see a variety of amazing performers in one show at a possibly sketchy off-strip venue.

Mondays Dark With Mark Shunock is incredible! The show is very unique! Twice a month, different entertainers will go on stage to perform for a good cause. The ultimate goal is to raise $10K in 90 minutes. You'll find them at The Space near Harmon, on the corner of Cavaretta and Polaris. Parking is limited, but they'll make a way to accommodate for locals and visitors. Tickets can only be purchased online. Price ranges from $20 to $50, depending on seat availability. With an emailed ticket, this makes it super easy to check in. The organization benefiting is Epicurean Charitable Foundation, they help deserving students with educational scholarships and mentorship programs, primary focus is food and hospitality. The show featured music from favorite food groups, this made the night so fun! It was awesome watching them perform hit songs by Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get it Started," Spice Girls "Wannabe," Eminem "Lose Yourself," Pearl Jam, Cracker, Salt-N-Pepa "Push It!" Fiona Apple, Cake, and The Cranberries "Zombie." The last song, "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)," is a lovely tribute to the rock singer Meat Loaf, it was sung beautifully. This was my first visit to see the show and I had a great time! I love all the songs they performed. And the story about "Brenda's Beaver meets the Barber" is hilarious! I want that book. It's like a talk show with live songs in between, and it's quite entertaining. Just a note, the show is for age 21+ and it does have explicit language. If unable to attend the show, they have FREE Live Stream at 8pm! So far, I've seen the music of Lady Gaga "Born This Way" benefiting Bright Star Foundation, Music of the Mouse benefiting Rescued Treasures Cat Café by PALnv, and Crossover Country Hits benefiting Shania Kids Can. I'm excited for the next show, on Monday, May 8, 2023, they'll be performing music of the 90's R&B!

Mark is the hardest working man in Las Vegas and he knows how to raise 10k in 90 minutes for local charities.Tickets run $20-50 and it's the best show you'll ever see for that price.

Created in 2013 by Cheryl Daro & Mark Shunock, Mondays Dark is Vegas' premiere variety show for a cause. My wife and I had one of our first date's at this show and we kept coming back and having a blast everytime! Twice a month they host, live music, always to a common theme at each event (i.e. the music of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the music of Madonna, the music of Stranger Things the TV show, etc). And knowing all the proceeds goes to a local charity just makes a it fun-filled, unforgettable night. Mark keeps it real and he is hilarious--kudos to you my man! Thank you for all you do for Vegas. For about $20 a ticket, make a trip out to The Space (their headquarters for almost every show) or watch out for some of their special events at venues across Vegas (like pre-pandemic, I was fortunate to attend their anniversary show at the Pearl Theater at the Palms and that same year they hosted the event at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay). No matter where they are, it is always a great show. Calling all locals, tourists, couch-potatoes and everyone inbetween--come out and show your support. You won't regret it and you won't forget it!

This is one of the best things you can do in Las Vegas. Not only are you enjoying top notch entertainment from the shows in Las Vegas, but you are helping worthy local causes. Thank you Mark and Chery Shunock for putting this together, and thanks to the board for making this come off without a hitch month after month. I've enjoyed Boy Band night, seeing some lounge singers with incredible voices, and performances from Rock of Ages, among many, many others. Yes, the location -- "The Space LV" can be sketchy and away from the safety of the strip, but I always take an Uber/Lyft here and have no problems being picked up afterwards. The performance venue is great with plenty of seating and the ability to get drinks and take to your seat (or sit in VIP which includes drinks). Most people aren't visiting on a Monday, so I imagine this is filled with locals, but if you are in town on a Monday, this is a great thing to do, entertainment wise. You'll thank me after you visit here once.

I discovered Mondays Dark quite by accident and couldn't be more pleased! The show was professional and funny and full of top notch entertainment playing to what seemed to be a sold out room. The Space is intimate, well thought out and classy. As a local, I'm thrilled to discover this spot. I'll be back!

On the 3rd Monday of every month, comes a special night to promote a local non-profit. For $23 ($20 + service fee), a very special evening can be had.Held at The Vinyl, it's an intimate setting, small venue with a powerful presence. Great talent can be seen here, a lot from live Vegas shows that happen to be dark on Mondays. Thus, the name. All this for a worthy cause.Bravo to Mark Shunock and team. Well done.

100% of your ticket price is donated to a charity while you're enjoying music from local artists?? Uh, yeah, it gets a five-star from me! The monthly charity concert takes place at Vinyl at the Hard Rock Casino, but that's about to change because Monday's Dark is moving their home to their own building! For now, you're a parking garage and a long hallway away from the Vinyl. Buy your tickets online and early and you may get a lower price, but this is for a good cause so it really doesn't matter. It's general admission/seating, but they do have tables you can buy. There's a bar in the back of the theater so you can really enjoy yourself if you choose to. Although when the crowds at the bar is halfway through the show, you can hear the alcohol kicking in and it sort of distracts you from the show. No big deal though because the atmosphere is very relax; all thanks for Mark Shunock! The show is consisted of Mark presenting each artist and each artist does one number. In between artists, Mark and the band may get a little rowdy, but that's half the fun! Such a close knit awesome group of people trying to entertain all for a good cause. I can't wait to go back next month! See you there!

This local community event is quite a scene! Hosted by none other than world famous Mark Shunock! The talent varies from event to event, and you never know what you're going to get with entertainment. The blueprint plan of Monday's Dark? CHARITY+ENTERTAINMENT The SpaceLv is super clean! Be ready to share the European style bathroom stalls accompanied by both a male and female bathroom attendants. I recommend you bring cash but if you don't, YES someone has a card reader needless to say, this is the best thing to do on a Monday night in Vegas. I guarantee you'll leave with a smile on your face because it gets pretty silly Raffle opportunity sent me home with some fun goody baskets( PLEASE keep in mind, I had to bid on these to win, wins are not guaranteed.) Mission Accomplished if you can find the spot, but if you can't, some tourist walked over from the Luxor to attend, so no excuses! It's off Polaris across from the Grand Prix and PARKING IS FREE!!!!

We hesitate sharing such a great review of Monday's Dark at the Las Vegas Space, just west of the strip... because if too many more people start showing up, we might find it hard to get good seating, twice a month!Mark and Cheryl, both extremely talented, creative stage performers in their own right, have established evening shows of musical talent, humor and diversified talents while offering a huge opportunity for local non-profit charities to receive $10,000 at the end of the evening for their organization! So popular that the venue (LV SPACE) is also able to offer other local talents and performers throughout each week!
