What a cute cafe!!! I'm a loyalist to Suzuya! I loved everything from their original place and I was ecstatic to see what this place was about! I came here for breakfast and got the jokoy sandwich. It was quickly made and ready to go when I ordered it. It was HUGE! It was an egg omelet with their delicious homemade bread! (Their homemade bread is my favorite) The sandwich was topped off with ketchup and mayo! This part - I do have to say was a bit too much. I honestly wanted it to be spread evenly throughout. I didn't except a pile of it on top but it look good for presentation. The egg was perfectly cooked. I added ham on mine but to the side. It all tasted delicious, just messy with the ketchup and mayo on top! I also for the banana foster mochi which was amazing!!!! I could eat plenty of these! Mochi was fresh! I didn't think it would taste good with banana foster but I kept open mind since I love both! Great combination! Now I now I should have tried the beignets but it's alot for the morning! I have to come back and try again! Service was great! Staff were nice and quick! Ambiance- very chill! I like the covered outdoor patio. What happened to the pick up sandwich area??? I wish that was available...I like having ready sandwiches to go like suzuya!

This spot is cute, we walked by a few times and decide to come back to try it.I ordered earl grey milk tea which I think comes w/ a nice & light taste; however, if you like strong tea flavor, this isn't for you.Staff were nice and friendly.

Have you ever heard of a mochi beignet? Omg, this dessert is incredible! A friend recommended it to me and told me to check out Moignet. So, I made my way back to Chinatown, and the place was buzzing with activity. I waited about 15 minutes--not too bad--and the menu had plenty of tempting options, but I was there for one thing: the moignets! These warm, fluffy beignets came with my choice of dipping sauce, and each bite was absolute perfection with the chewy mochi inside. The contrast of crispy on the outside and soft, chewy goodness on the inside was just chef's kiss. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Very tasty dessert cafe. This is a Japanese cafe that offers quick bites to eat. This places used to be called Suzuya. We tried the moignets, strawberry crepe, Grilled cheese, and macaroons. The moignet is essentially a green tea beignet with mochi filling. The strawberry crepe was so good. Not overly sweets it has cream, powdered sugar, and strawberry. The grilled cheese was good. The tomato soup was very lagre portion and not too heavy of tomato flavor. The yuzu lemonade is tasty. The yuzu green tea was tasty. A little on the sweet side so I watered it down with water. The macarons were all good. They were baked to perfection.

We came here just to try the green tea moignets and it was so worth it. It was made fresh to order and took 15 minutes. Eat it while it's warm! We ordered 6 for $9 and I ate 4 by myself! Such a cool combo of a traditional beignets on the outside and mochi on the inside. It was fluffy like a pillow top.We bought all 3 dipping sauces for $5. The yuzu cream was the best with a tangy taste. Strawberry cream was sour like Yakult. The Choco hazelnut cream would go well with churros not moignets. We also got the banana cream crepe and strawberry banana crepe for $8 each. Those came out first in 10 minutes. We skipped out on hot sandos and drinks because we were on our way to breakfast. It's an open kitchen in the back and you could see them making the desserts. The decor is very earthy minimalistic and had tables inside and an outdoor patio.

Social media marketing strikes again. The super fresh beignets were extremely tasty and we got the flight of dipping sauces and they were a great compliment as well. The chocolate and strawberry were my favorite. I also highly recommend the mocha latte. It was really good and had a very unique flavor. The service was very friendly and we love the outside patio too. We can't wait to go back. See you soon.

We love Japanese food. Even went to Japan and savored their culinary creations. But we never thought that Japan excelled in desserts. Until now.Walking into Moignet, we were happy to see such beautiful desserts. Japanese culinary creations satisfy and feed the stomach, but they also please the eyes. There's beauty in everything. We were wondering why the name sound so French. It turns out it's a play of Mochi and Beignet. What this bakery has done is to create a beautiful combination --- beignet on the outside, mochi in the inside --- served with three different sauces: lemon, chocolate and strawberry. Because we were sitting with someone who is friends with the proprietor, we were able to taste various delights, some of which were garnished with edible flowers. We loved that the desserts were not overly sweet. But that's not all --- they have a wonderful selection of breakfasts and lunches. We were eyeing the orders that came by. Most definitely would want to try their truffle French toast, croque Madame, pork belly and egg, and more!

Moignet, formerly Suzuya, is a cozy spot tucked into a corner of the mall. The sandos were perfectly crunchy and delicious, and the moignets were amazing when served hot (we've had them as takeout before, which wasn't quite the same, but still tasty). The vibe here is definitely different from the Suzuya location in the southwest. It feels more lively, likely due to its proximity to the Strip, which makes sense. However, there are fewer pastry options at this location, which was a bit of a letdown. Our server was really friendly (I believe she's the owner?).We were disappointed to learn that they no longer have the doggy menu with treats and pup cups. When we mentioned it, the owner kindly offered to make a little pup cup for our dog, which was a nice touch.
