Mizumi never fails to deliver at the highest level, making it one of my go-to spots for exceptional sushi. The attention to detail in presentation is truly remarkable, elevating every dish into an art form.Beyond the food, the service is impeccable. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, offering expert recommendations and insight into every item on the menu. Their passion for the cuisine is evident, making each visit an even more enjoyable experience. From start to finish, Mizumi consistently exceeds expectations, and I look forward to my next visit.

Mizumi kicked off our 3 dinner anniversary weekend with a bang! The ambience was on another level, as we got to sit on the pagoda during our meal. There's something wild about eating outdoors at a high-end restaurant on the Strip, feeling completely removed from the action(in the best way). There is a $175/pp minimum to eat there, but unless you're going for a snack, that's not going to be a problem at Mizumi. Considering it's the Wynn and some of the best sushi I've ever had in the middle of a desert, the price point is high, but to be expected. We ordered a pretty significant portion of the menu, so here goes:Seaweed salad: this one was a curiosity for my fiance. She ate a few bites of it, decided it wasn't for her, and our server Reńe took it off the bill without us even asking when he noticed it was largely untouched.Seared aburi salmon sushi: absolutely delicious. The salmon was ever so slightly seared, leaving a nice texture without cooking out the delicacy of the salmon. A great start to the meal! The 'Three Kings': I'm not one to curse in Yelp reviews, but holy f******* s***. Osetra caviar and Hokkaido uni in a shiso leaf, and a Strip of Kobe Beef to roll it into. The sheer decadence of this dish really cannot be conveyed in words. The photos don't really do it justice either. This was possibly the best dish I've ever eaten in my life, or maybe tied with Joel Robuchon's 'Caviar Imperial'. At $68 for 2 pieces, it was worth every penny, and if we hadn't had so many other dishes coming, I would have gotten a re-pass of this in a heartbeat.Sashimi platter(self-selected, starting from the uni at the top and going clockwise in a spiral):Uni: fresh, delicious, creamy, slightly oceanic, absolutely everything you expect from this delicacy.Nodoguro: Sleeper hit of the night. The flavor wasn't strong, but it lingered, changing as you continued to chew on it. I'll be looking for it atevery sushi restaurant I go to from here on,using Mizumi as the standard.Unagi: Excellent preparation and texture. Not much to say if you've had unagi before, but this was a clear top 1% of the stock available. Absolutely wonderful.Kama-toro: Honestly, I was expecting more. Its rare to see Kama-toro on a LV menu, and being a big fan of O-toro and Chu-toro, just thought this would wow me. It tasted fine, the quality was there, but I was pretty underwhelmed for the $$. I'll just grab some O-toro or more Nodoguro next time.Shima-Aji: soft, delicate, and smooth. Very nice, although the flavor was lacking when directly compared to Kabuto(the dinner set for the day after Mizumi).Tofu skewer: this one was for my fiance, but it was excellent according to her!Creamy Truffle Crab Croquette: Another showstopper. There was a perfect marriage of the crab and truffle, the truffle complemented rather than overpowered the crab, and the flavor was matched only by the richness of the dish.Olive Wagyu: I've had just about every variety of Japanese a5 you can care to name, from Kobe to Miyazaki to Ohmi to Kagoshima to Hokkaido snow beef, and i can honestly say it must take a more refined palette than mine to tell a significant difference. That disclaimer aside, the olive fed beef was still everything I have come to expect from Japanese beef, succulent, rich, and an absolute treasure to savor. The hot stone preparation tableside was a very nice aesthetic touch!A5 Wagyu fried rice: mixed and served tableside, this was utterly fantastic. The wagyu fat mixed beautifully with the other ingredients. After the extreme levels of richness from the other dishes, I had to have half of this boxed to make room for dessert, but I would happily have finished this off if my stomach had allowed!Desserts: Yuzu souffle, chocolate fondant with Matcha ice cream:Both of these were amazing. The yuzu souffle felt light, airy, and tangy, just the perfect end to all the rich food. The chocolate went to my fiance, and her stomach was also out of room, but she praised it highly for the bites she had.Our server Reńe(sp?) Was amazing throughout the night. He knew when to be there for questions and when to vanish, a feat made more impressive by the isolated pagoda. Absolutely top notch the entire meal throughout, he was warm, gracious, and knowledgeable.Overall, Mizumi is an easy choice for any romantic night, anniversary, special occasion, you name it. It's on the Strip, it's at the Wynn, it's sushi in the desert. You should know to bring your wallet. That said, if you do your research, Mizumi was as wonderful as Joel Robuchon or é.

I give it a 3.5 stars. Came here for a business dinner during Suppli Side West Had a separate room dedicated for us. Food was delicious BUT definitely did not take into account the amount of people per dish. There was not enough food for us! For example - the tempura was 2 pieces one shrimp only versus taking out 10 more plates or maybe serve each person with a plate of their own. Considering that the company is spending a lot of money for business dinners like this, the restaurant should have suggested enough food for everyone. Too bad it could have been nice but again there was not enough food for the guests. Dont think we will choose the same restaurant again for next year conference. Trust.

It's expensive, but it was my favorite bite in Vegas. Seared 'Aburi' Salmon Sushi - delicious. There are four sushi pieces to the roll and I savored every one.Salmon Egg Sushi - you know it's high quality when even something as salmon egg sushi was amazing. It's $13, but so worth it.Wagyu Gyoza Dumpling - my husband really enjoyed this. I thought it was pretty good too. It comes with four pieces.Robata Platter (black tiger shrimp, chicken yakitori, beef tenderloin, shishito peppers, king oyster mushrooms) - This was a great way to try a variety. Everything was delicious and it came with different sauces. I also tried the Sakura and Kawaii (cocktails). They were delicious, but the real standout was the matcha martini that was on the dessert menu. That was one of my favorite drinks of the trip. The waitress was so nice and friendly. She told us the amounts of each dish, probably so we weren't surprised by how little food it is. Think very high quality. Our bill came out to around $350 for two people. The décor of this place is beautiful, with nice views of greenery outside. It's modern without feeling stuffy. I highly suggest checking this place out.

To this day I still dream of this sushi roll every time I'm in the mood for sushi! Had no reservations so we were seated at the sushi bar area and I am so happy it happened that way. We were able to see the chefs working their magic! The restaurant was stunning inside and the food quality matched the ambiance. Everytime I am in Las Vegas, this is my go-to sushi place!

We have been coming to Mizumi 9 years in a row for Thanksgiving to celebrate my daughter learned how to walk at the Wynn. I was really disappointed from our recent visit. The food doesn't taste that good as the robata were burned, sushi was plain and wayu fried rice was overcooked. They cancelled our Tapanyaki reservation without giving us a courtesy call. I was stuck at the valet line and tried calling the resturant but were not able to get through. We were 15-20 minutes late and the receptionist said "I can give you a table at the sushi resturant but you have to leave by 6:45". We thanked her for her help and left promptly at 6:40pm. The server was extremely nice as she sensed that I was not happy about the experience. The setting of the resturant was nice. Overall, I would not recommend as there are many other choices for sushi at Vegas.

Excellent ambiance, high class energy, perfection of dishes. One suggestion about the service- plates should never be removed from the table without asking if a person is finished eating. Do not assume! That was the only major suggestion that bothered my experience at mizumi. Everything else was top notch!
