all the music is amazing and so are the performers!!! the clip when Michael was younger and singing brought some tears to my eye because he really has a great voice. before the show, theres some interaction woth the crowds that were cool. and maybe they had extra seats because they moved us from second level to the first, score! happy valentines day to us. lol.

I'm usually not the hugest fan of Cirque du Solei (although I do enjoy it), but I do love Michael Jackson. This show massively beat expectations for me. From beginning to end we were wow'd with generation defining music, spectacular acrobatics, and amazing dancing. Truely epic

Everyone I spoke to about the 1.5 hour long "Michael Jackson One" show said it was awesome. I rolled my eyes, sighed and called it a day. I'm so glad my spouse got us tickets without my consent! And, in the third row no less. EXPERIENCE:Located in the Mandalay Bay, we had cocktails prior to the show at nearby House of Blues. Being Las Vegas, we got drinks to go and brought them into the show (no glass allowed). There is a bar inside the theater as well. The theater isn't large, so the show felt almost intimate. The performance began with cast dressed as paparazzi, coming up to a few guests in the audience snapping pretend photos and asking interview-like questions to get the excitement started. There is no Michael Jackson impersonator, thankfully. Instead, cast members dance and perform acrobatics to his music. One dancer in particular showed off impressive moonwalking skills and several others nailing the anti-gravity lean. At the end, you do see the king of pop for a moment in the form of an eerily realistic but tastefully executed hologram. OVERALL:Highly recommended! And this is coming from someone who is tired of Cirque acrobatic shows in Vegas.

We've seen several Cirque du Soleil shows and although this did not have the usual acrobatics (where you feel like you are at a three ring circus with acts going on above and all around you), we enjoyed this very much. It presented an overview of Michael Jackson's greatest hits and added some context of the times in which the music appeared. We sat on the ground floor, in the middle, at the top, just to the side of the handicapped seats and the view was perfect. My favorite parts of the show were a couple of solo acrobatic acts. There was a man who did a solo and a woman who also did a solo. Another nice touch was when snowflakes fell from above, the cool flakes hitting your face and alighting on top of your hair!Although I'm not sure that this show will stick in my memory as one of the best Cirque shows I've seen (Mystere with the taiko drums is my favorite!), it is very entertaining, and worth going to see if you want to take in a show while you are in Las Vegas.

A magical show! This show defines Las Vegas - fireworks, pyrotechnics, acrobats, gymnasts, exotic dancers, professional entertainers and more. You will be amazed by the level of attention to detail that this show presents to the audience. The show starts with a bang! A dance number that includes fireworks and the ultimate musical experience. Each dance number that follows is just as good and awe inspiring as the next. You'll be left shocked by what's possible with dancers can come together for a moment of beauty! Michael Jackson was thoroughly honored here! His memory, song tracks, and swagger come to life. The staff were great too! I ordered drinks and popcorn and it was served quickly. The ushers gladly helped us find our seats and made sure we were comfortable at the theater.

I had neither deafness nor seizures before this show but now.... This show blinds you repeatedly with laser lights straight to the retina and deafens you with volume so loud you can't even hear the details of the music. This sensory overload is designed to distract you from the poor show design. The choreography you can glimpse when not covering your eyes from the migraine-inducing lighting is repetitive and uninspired. The "wow" moments of talent happen, like, twice. There is no awe, no beauty, no "it" factor. The only feeling I had walking away was relief it was over, and the only lasting memory is the lingering headache. As someone who grew up near MJ's childhood home, we have an innate affection for him, and this did such a huge disservice to his body of work. We had many MJ impersonators near his hometown and they all were far better than this.

Date of visit: August 25, 2024We have slowly but surely seeing all of the Cirque Shows on the Vegas Strip but this one we saved for a time when we could bring my mom with us--she got to see the Jackson 5 in concert when she was younger and has been an MJ fan ever since--and I am so glad we waited, it. Was. Everything! For the longest time, Mystere has been my favorite Cirque du Soleil show but now that I have seen Michael Jackson One, there is a new reigning champion! While many people will point to O as the best show, but I actually found that one to be a bit of a snooze, especially now that I have seen MJ One.One of the things that I think really connected for me more than some of the others was the lyrics; Cirque shows have never been big on words but here the lyrics really helped connect the content for me.A must see!

Growing up with MJ songs, it was an heart warming experience to see Cirque de Soleil incorporate their skillful ideas and incredible acrobatic with iconic MJ songs and dance moves. To my surprise, it wasn't 90 minutes, it was an epic 2.5 hours long show covering many many songs of MJ. The show has its high and low moments but the peak moments really gave me goose bumps. At one point they drop real snow on the crowd. At other times performers fly over your head. Simply put a spectacular show to witness. It was really easy to validate the ticket at the entrance, no long lines. There were plenty of booth to buy alcohol, popcorn and lemonade. I liked the pink lemonade a lot, but popcorn was average. They take photos of you in the hallway and inside the theater. You can purchase them after the show. They also have a merchandise store next to the theater, selling iconic MJ swags.

Watched the 7pm show on Sunday evening 11/3, paid $477 for 4 tickets, row PP. Honestly, I wish I could get a refund. Pros:- the dancers and performers and actors were very talented and phenomenal, I would say they redeemed all the things that went poorly. I was especially impressed with the performer who had the above knee amputation, his dancing with crutches was very athletic and to me he was the star of the show. Cons:- I would say it's more of a tribute/dance performance than a typical cirque show. Not as many acrobatics as other shows like "O" at Bellagio. But not bad if you're an MJ fan and you come in with reasonable expectations. - plot was hard to follow and kind of weird. Read story beforehand to make it easier for yourself. - after the opening song "Beat it", there was a 35 minute pause/delay in the show, with no explanations. I know this is live theater and there's bound to be mishaps, but every 10 mins an announcement would play over the speakers requesting everyone stay seated and that the show would continue shortly. But for me, 35 mins is way too long. The show resumed around 745pm, so in total I only saw about 45 mins of the whole show. Context - I had an evening flight booked to leave Vegas that same night, for around 11pm. Given that it's Vegas and I assume they do this show nightly, I anticipated it would end close to its end time or 830 with plenty of time to go to the airport. But due to the delay in the show, I had to leave around 830 and they had only gotten through a few more songs by that time (totally missed Thriller and Billie Jean if they did those). Two other members in my party had to leave around 9pm and they said the show was also far from ending. Because of the initial delay around 7:05pm to 7:40pm, multiple people got up and left to probably go to the bathroom, get food, stretch, etc. with no estimated end time, I don't blame them. But because of this, for the next 45 mins of the show, multiple people in multiple rows in front of us had to get up to let other people returning back to their seats. This made for a really distracting and not enjoyable show, especially since we are trying to see the dancing! I sincerely hope this was a one time mishap, but I would recommend you not make any plans for after this show if you're seeing it, given the above scenario.
