Medellin Empanadas

Wow these empanadas were so good. The chicken empanadas were good I did prefer the beef empanadas had more flavor.The pique was good as well reminded me of my moms pique. I will definitely come back and try more plates.

Location:This food truck is located just outside the Premium Oulets North. The truck is parked on S Grand Central Parkway near the Nike store. So to access it you do have to park somewhere, then walk up if you're not already at the outlets shopping. Food: I ordered a beef empanada and two Arepas. The empanadas are very small. And the beef portion inside was very nominal. I mostly tasted potato. The empanada was very crispy which I loved. The arepa was filled with chicharrón which was tender and incredibly well seasoned. The cornbread bun was the perfect. It was soft but had a bit of crispness. Overall I really enjoyed the food. The food by itself is worthy of a 5 star rating. However the wait time for the food in my opinion is too long for a food truck, especially with the limited menu. I work across the street and it took just about 6 minutes to reach this truck walking. My coworker and I ordered the same items right after each other but food took more than 20 minutes to receive. I got the empanada immediately but the two arepas took a lot of prep time for both of us. That's not really convenient when you have only a 30 minute lunch.

I finally had the chance to try them . And I was so excited , but I mean. Unless you like fried stuff maybe this is your thing . It was mostly breading and not much meat.. not much flavor so , very disappointed . I had to eat all of it cause I was hungry but definitely not what I was expecting ):

Colombian empanadas are hard to find here in Vegas! Until we found this place at the premium north outlets! We assume this was family owned! I've missed Colombian empanadas since I've moved here. We got the beef and chicken! Omg taste like the Colombian empanadas we use to eat from Chicago! Crunch on outside and soft inside with moist filling of chicken and beef! Flavors and seasoning were all there. Salsa was delicious with it. Service was a bit of a wait but she makes them fresh which makes it worth waiting! Friendly staff! Ambiance- outside since it's a food truck.

Stopped by for a quick snack after some shopping at the empanada truck located next to the Nike store. Lady working was very kind, we ordered the 3 empanadas which come with chicken, beef and veggie + one sauce. Overall, I gave it a 3 because the empanadas lacked in flavor and were "doughy" more then filled with chicken, beef etc. if you're looking for a quick snack in the north outlet mall won't be let down, they did have some other options as well.

Totally unexpected find! So glad I stumbled upon this! Leaving the outlet Nike store.Had the pleasure of trying the chicken empanada and the chicharrón arepa. They were out of the chorizo ): Will need to try next time!

So I have been craving empanadas ever since I took a trip to Colombia last year. When I saw this food truck I knew I had to try it. These empanadas were delicious!!! I originally purchased one order of chicken and 2 beef empanadas and came back 10 mins later for another order. I told the young man Santiago who was working there these empanadas were so delicious and I will definitely be back. The sauce that comes with the empanadas is busting with flavor. This food truck is located at the North Outlets a few steps from the Nike store. The empanadas are made to order so it took about 8 mins for them to be ready but it was worth the wait. If your looking for authentic Colombian empanadas definitely try Medellin Empanadas.

I just left the scene !! Hot , fresh and tasty!! Fresh cooked to order and amazingly original. I went to Meddllin Empanadas this afternoon and it was DELICIOUS! Thank you

The beef and chicken empanadas were amazing!!! They're just like the empanadas that I had from Cartagena Colombia. The customer service was amazing!
