Matteo's Ristorante Italiano

Matteo's is a cozy Italian restaurant along restaurant row between the Palazzo and the Venetian.We came here on Valentines for a romantic dinner and the location doesn't disappoint but it is a little louder (but it's Vegas and people are having a good time). We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and were seated right in time.Service was fast and our waiter Kevin was very knowledgeable:We had a green salad to start followed by the salmon and linguini as our mains. Food was excellent very tasty.Overall a really nice experience.

This place is delicious. I got their well know and reasonably priced "pesto pasta" in other words made with house and hand made parpadelle like noodles. They are thinner, chewy, elegant with the perfect amount of pesto. This is going to be a must have every time I go. If you can sit at the bar, service will be faster without a wait. It's a small quaint size restaurant with food service. My only issue is that even if you make a reservation, it's still first come, first serve seating. So I still had to wait 20 minutes before we were sat which made me nearly late for a scheduled show. If they can fix that, then the process would be much easier.This is a must stop shop that you would never guess in Palazzo.

Matteo's Ristorante Italiano: A Hidden Gem in The Venetian's Restaurant Row!We were thrilled to snag a table for two on Valentine's Day weekend, and Matteo's exceeded our expectations! The staff, particularly Mike, were friendly, attentive, and made our evening special.This cozy, intimate restaurant may not be large, but it packs a big punch. The vibe is warm and inviting, with plenty of tables to accommodate guests.We indulged in:- tuscan kale salad - ricotta salata, crostini crumbs, red wine vinegar, hazelnuts: Fresh, crunchy, and delicious!- Loom and Bloom (gin-based cocktail): Refreshing and nicely crafted- Handkerchief Pasta: House special with incredible housemade pesto sauce. We topped it with fresh parmesan cheese and chili flakes- north sea Salmon: Without a doubt, one of the best we've had - sumptuous and cooked to perfection, served with cabbage- budino di pane - chocolate-raisin-walnut bread pudding, caramel gelato, whipped cream- heavenly! Matteo's Ristorante Italiano is a must-visit for Italian food lovers. We can't wait to return and experience more of their culinary delights!

The place a little crowded on Saturday night. Our dinner is around 7pm and we got to sat right away which it is a plus. But it's took a long time for us to ordered drinks. Then afterwards the server kind rushing us ordering appetizers and entrees. We give 8.5/10 for the drinks and the food 8/10. The place really loud hard to hear from the server and the staff.

Let me begin by saying that we had a picky eater in our party. That individual cleaned their plate. Hopefully, this indicates that the food here is good.Matteo's Ristorante Italiano is an eatery located on the restaurant row situated between the Venetian and Palazzo resorts. The food is based on northern Italian cuisine. It is difficult for me to comment on a specific entrée. While there are items that are the foundation of Matteo's menu, I believe that this restaurant updates its menu on a regular basis. Generally speaking .. This restaurant makes their own pasta on premises. Thinking of the pasta dishes we ordered, the taste and texture was very good and stood out as different.And for an "Italian" restaurant, the entrées that feature rib eye steak and cod are very good.

Couldn't decide where to grab dinner, but so glad we ended up here! The whole group was starving and we were fortunate to be seated immediately. Service was attentive and timely. We shared the grilled calamari, sweet and spicy peppers and bread service. All 3 were fresh and delicious. The olive tapenade with the bread service- wow! So good. I ordered the pasta filled with short ribs and a cream sauce. I was worried it might be heavy, but it was just perfection. Serving size was perfect, pasta was some of the best I've ever had. Everyone raved about their meals in our group.

Tried another restaurant at the Venetian! We happened to go on a very busy Saturday night with various events going on, so there was a bit of a wait despite having made a reservation. The waiting area right outside the restaurant front was crowded, and it just felt a little unorganized, but it must have been really stressful for the workers during this busy night. We were seated about in the middle of the restaurant, and we noticed that the vibe was very intimate with the low lighting but it was so loud where it was difficult even for us to hear one another. For food, we ordered the Roasted Bone Marrow for an appetizer, the Agnolotti and Casonzei for entrees, and a Tiramisu for dessert! It was our first time trying bone marrow like this, and it was an experience! For the pastas, I wasn't a huge fan of the Casonzei since it tasted very meat-y to me whereas the Agnolotti was more light and creamy in comparison. Neither pastas were particularly special to me, but they were still decent dishes that were perfectly sized for us. I feel that to most people though, the pastas may be more on the smaller size for the price. I must say that the Tiramisu was the star of the night. It wasn't a mind-blowing Tiramisu, but it was still very good. Overall, I think I enjoyed other restaurants at the Venetian more, and I have to say I prefer Brera in terms of Italian food there. Nothing particularly stood out to me in terms of food at this visit -- I'd have to say that it was just a decent Italian dining experience for me. The combination of it being an extremely busy night along with it being not as bright as I'd like and too loud for comfort just contributed to an experience that could be a lot better at another visit.

Sorry but no. Overall a very disappointing meal at Vegas prices. Home made pasta was meh. We got the Tortellini and the squid ink pasta. Both just didn't have the right springy bite or chewiness to it. Tasted a little dry. The sauce that accompanied the pasta was good, but unfortunately the star of the dish was not to par. Roasted cauliflower was a little under seasoned and also tasted slightly undercooked. Service was pleasant but extremely slow and they seemed understaffed. Food: 3 stars. Service: 3.5 stars Price: 2 stars

Located on Restaurant Row between Palazzo and Venetian, this very busy Italian eatery was convenient for us.Service- very good, staff always present filling glasses and checking on us.Food- hubby and I split a salad and they portioned it for us on separate plates. I always it when a place does this. Food was ok, I love the fresh made pasta but the sauce was ok. The garlic wasn't really that prominent in my linguine dish. Ambiance- it's crowded but the tables were spaced out well. No need to worry about Covid coughs.

Great find in the Venetian restaurant row. The food and service were outstanding! We shared the cod and the Handkerchief pasta pesto- Fantastic! Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service!
