This place was awesome. Coming in from the North East, to visit a pretty authentic Hispanic grocery store was, frankly, unbelievable. I could have gotten lost in there looking at all the authentic products. My family stocked up before heading into Utah with groceries via cooler. Look, buy their in-house stuff. Best tortillas I've ever had. I bought a pastry, not knowing what it was, and it was so amazing that I was hesitant to share the smallest bite with my family. They have such a wide variety of items, but again, their in-house offerings are sublime. I'd go out of my way to visit the next time I'm on the west coast.

Yelp Review 2025 #80:I was telling people how expensive pineapples are at Sprouts so a few of them told me "go to a Mexican grocery store, it's so much cheaper!" There's a few within a 5-mile radius. I ended up at Mariana's on Civic Center and Cheyenne.I grabbed a basket because I only wanted a few things: a pineapple, strawberries, chicharron, and guacamole. I walked around the store to check out what else they have. Trays upon trays of pan dulce, cakes, bionico, flan (whole and slices), aguas Frescas, marinated meats and chicken, regular meats and chicken, fish, shellfish, chicharron, hot prepared foods, fruits, vegetables, seasonings, etc.The pineapples were tiny and the same price as Sprouts' pineapples! No, thanks! I checked out the strawberries...$6 and they had mold on them. No, thanks! Nothing was cheaper except for the meat and chicken. I grabbed chicharron, fried plantains, and guacamole. The store was relatively clean and organized. Some store employees were Spanish speaking only and that's ok, I know enough Spanish to get by.I must say they are well-stocked though. I've been going to Mariana's for years for the chicharron and I think that and meats will be the only things I'll be getting from here.

I can only find my favorite beer at this market! Every time I come here it is so busy! The cashiers are friendly, and even the other shoppers are friendly. I always have conversations with other shoppers during my visit. I'll continue coming here because aside driving to Mexico, this is where I can find my Sol beer!

I usually love this place i visit from time to time but just recently not so sure. I'd usually visit here for usually chicken wings corn jalepenos & ribs . This weekend was no different only this time around everyone got sick from the ribs which were bbq'ed and then oven'ed so they weren't undercooked. 4 slabs down the drain i believe this was 11/16 jon jones fight weekend. Other then that service went swift n smooth . As usual the visuals are ripe at market are delightful which is reason to visit . But not worth health in any matter. Don't think id go again nor recommend

I placed my order at 10:15 for a torta cubana. the cook was told twice after seeing that some time had passed and I had still not received my order. Over 15 minutes later the cashier with an attitude tells me "your torta is that one", since it was in a bag packed to go. the service is horrible mind you, but it's the attitude with these people that fucking gets me. Somos como tú should not be their motto, it would be more like somos como tú cuando quieramos y si quieren y si no pos ya saben a donde se pueden ir...

This is my favorite Hispanic market in town, I still go to the others but this one always has tons of options for butcher meat with delicious seasoning and great prices. Produce is typically fresh and ALL the employees are friendly even when I have to point at what I want because of language barriers.I also love their Aqua Fresca options & Bakery items.I've never tried their hot food area but people often seem to be buying the options available.Their Tortillas are delicious as well as the salsa they sell. Definitely a go to for yummy eats, sweets & meats!

My first time in a Mariana's. I came for convenience while working in the area. I just had a short list to grab, and couldn't find everything here.*Coconut cream-searched the entire store and came up empty-handedTowels & TP-So overpriced Pineapple-$7....holy crap, I just bought one for $2 at Smith's!Half n half-dated 8/18 and when we opened it at home, it smelled horrendously rotten. There were also zero shopping carts available.Yikes, not going back unfortunately!

I have gone here for over 10yrs and within the last 3-4 yrs I've seen the decline in quality, cleanliness and staff. I bought chicken from the butcher area, only to get home, open the bag and be punched with the stench of the chicken gone bad. When I checked the label that the butcher printed and manually stuck on the bag, it read that it had been packaged the day after. How do they maintain accuracy if even the weights aren't updated correctly. Did return it for a refund. This has happened to all my family members at differently times of course.I kept going here because I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but enough is enough. I went looking for the good deals they posted only to find fruit and vegetable racks to be empty, and what at was there was rotting. No wonder every time I go here there are no more than 5 people shopping. Very disappointing, won't be returning.

My mom always avoids this place and I always tell her it's not so bad. However, I went recently and a lot of the fruit was rotten. Also some fruits and veggies didn't have prices which is inconvenient. Needless to say I was disappointed and won't be back.
