We come here for breakfast or brunch whenever family is in town. And as Filipinos, we've got a lot of family so we appreciate that there are many tables and options for where to sit.The menu has a great variety of well loved classics for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We appreciate that we can order to go and the portions are just as plentiful if you dine in.Service is very hospitable and attentive. Overall vibe is very pleasant and friendly.

Definitely on my top places to eat now!!!! This place has all things Asian!!! So many categories, Vietnamese, Filipino, Chinese, Hawaiian. All in one spot!!!! I couldn't narrow it down so of course I had to get a little bit of each category, but didn't want to overdo it since it was just the two of us. Here's what we got:Orange chicken: 10/10Sizzling pork sisig: 10/10Shrimp spring rolls and pork: 8/10Baby bok choy garlic: 10/10Lechon Belly: 10/10 this was a specialty I think only available on certain days and times and this was amazing!Calamansi drink: 10/10Everything here was so good and can't wait to go back and try more dishes and get some of the same ones!! Huge restaurant and perfect for big parties. It wasn't too crowded when we went thank goodness and service was excellent.

Came here on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. We must have missed the lunch crowd as it was just us and 3 other tables of ppl. Plenty of parking in front Pretty large restaurant. Looks like they can section off areas of the restaurant if you want a semi-private meal. We didn't order any Vietnamese food but definitely went for the Filipino entrees. We miss Filipino food so this is perfect. Service was quick and fast upon our arrival, being greeted and sat down with menu in hand. We ordered and within 5mins or so, all our food came out. It was a late lunch so we were ready to chow down and appreciate the fast service. And the wait staff is very courteous as well. Checked on us a few times during our visit. Food, omg, soo good flavors galore and satisfy our cravings. There are other dishes we didn't get to order since we did 4 and it's only 2 of us. We need more ppl and will come back.

Brunch on a Sunday with some friends from LA. The place was pretty busy but we're seated as soon as we got in. Service was quick as well. The menu was huge! Tagged as a Filipino/ Vietnamese specialty. We ordered goto(congee) tendon with tokwa(tofu), pho, mami pares and chicharong bulaklak. Big servings, but taste wise, lacking in flavor specially the congee. Very disappointing. The fried tofu was quite good though dipped in vinegar and soy. Probably better if there's onion and garlic in the dipping sauce. I guess there was a reason why the dozens of times I passed by this place, It never occurred to me to dine in. Oh and please update the location hours on Yelp. We went to the Maryland location which says open but a sign on the door said closed due to staff shortage. Since we were craving for Filipino food, We went to the Rainbow location. Should have taken that as a sign and not pursue the cravings.

If you're in Vegas and craving Filipino or Vietnamese food, this is the restaurant for you because they serve BOTH! I've been to the Mang Felix location on Rainbow before but this was my first time at this one. I must say, I like this one better. It's MUCH larger, spacious, quieter, less crowded and you don't feel rushed. Upon entering, we were welcomed and quickly seated. Ice waters were brought out to us along with the menus and we were given an ample amount of time to look over the menu. We opted for the lumpiang ubod, salt and pepper soft shell crab, salt and pepper fried tofu, goto porridge, fried rice, and the ube turon for dessert. All their food is made to order and brought out piping hot. Will definitely be back to try some of their Vietnamese dishes. :)

Great Filipino/Vietnamese restaurant off strip that is definitely a hidden gem. The restaurant is off Maryland Pkwy, attached to a mall (?) but easily accessible and close to the parking structure. Service was friendly and attentive. I had the bangsilog and shared the fried soft shell crab appetizer. The bangsilog came with garlic fried rice and over easy eggs (unfortunately was a little overcooked but still edible). My meal was delicious and satisfied my Filipino food craving. Highly recommend and look forward to trying other dishes next time I'm in the area.

This is my second time coming to this location. They have another location off of S Rainbow. If you're in the mood for anything asian pacific-islander American, this is the spot. They have items from Hawaiian, Vietnamese, Filipino to Chinese. I like that if I can go to this one spot and feel the vibes of whatever I might be craving and they'll have it on the menu. This location is pretty spacious. Both are. But I like the decoration of the lighting in this space. As for the service, they're very nice.I would definitely recommend giving this spot a chance or try if you haven't visited yet. I'll come back here to try the other dishes. I got the bangusilog (which they serve Filipino breakfast all-day long).

I was apprehensive to go here for a long time, since any place that does multiple types of Asian food, usually doesn't do them all well. But the food photos looked really good so finally got suckered into going. When we got there I liked the modern look and vibe, I was optimistic it was going to be good. Service was friendly but a little overly polite, bordering on annoying lol. Like our server would ask if we were ready, and when I hesitated to respond, he apologized and ran off. Or when we got there the hostess kept talking with customers who were leaving instead of multi tasking and getting us seated.Fast forward to the food...Sweet and sour chicken was good. Batter was light but crisp, no major complaints. Bbq pork belly had huge chunks of ungrilled fat. I like fat as much as the next person, but this was just irresponsible health wise to serve.BBQ chicken, wasn't bad but had no teriyaki sauce and thus no flavor. We chose it because of a photo on Yelp that looked good but it didnt have the cucumber salad that we saw and the Mac salad had a bunch of black specks that was off putting. The lumpia was odd. At first I liked it since it was hot and flavorful. But after I ate a few, I felt like there was some msg feel on my tongue and I question whether or not the meat was actual meat or some sort of meat filler, since the texture was like a jack in the box taco -- fake.I can't comment on the lumpia umbod, that was my wife's pick and she's Filipino. But let's say it didn't look too great and I know she wasn't impressed. And the rice? We got 3 servings and it was all mushy. And we even got the bottom of the pot, identified by the tough skin on the bottom. I really wanted to like this place for a local spot, but ultimately it fell far short of our go to's in Chinatown.

We'e dined in here a handful of times which is why I have other photos included on this post. However, this is the first time we did a pick up order. The chuck steak was a little chewy for our liking...the broth tasted sweet like pho broth, and the potatoes were undercooked and hard in the middle. The pork binagoongan was mostly pork and not a good ratio of eggplant, and the jalapeño overpowered the bagoong taste. This was kind of a disappointment for us since we were craving bulalo and the taste just wasn't there. We also got beef & broccoli, thankfully, that was a dish that didn't disappoint. Thinking back, the beef in the karekare we had there was also tough. The rice is on point though! I'd probably be inclined to keep ordering their Chinese cuisine vs the Filipino dishes. Haven't tried any of their Hawaiian or island style dishes yet.

I was in the area, so we opted to dine at Mang Felix since we enjoyed eating at the Rainbow location. The restaurant is very nice. They have separate rooms for larger parties, and there's a small stage too. Mang Felix offers Vietnamese, Filipino, Chinese, and Hawaiian. The other location does not offer Hawaiian food. Food:Longsilog (Rice, Longanisa and Egg)Island Favorite- Sweet & Sour Sparerib TIPThe longsilog is the same. Nothing stood out. The Spareribs had a good flavor, and I love that the cut were Rib tips. The flavor was ok. Service was extremely slow. Another server stopped by to take our order. She informed us that she was not our server but wanted to help since she saw us sitting there for a while without our server addressing us by stopping by our table. He eventually stopped by to reiterate what we ordered. On my next visit, I'd stick with the filipino or Vietnames food.
