We consider ourselves bbq fanatics, so the standards and we are judgy. This place was top-notch! The brisket was cooked to perfection and with great flavor. The fried chicken was moist and tender with a crispy and flavorful batter. We were kind of bummed that we didn't come with a bigger appetite, but we will definitely be coming back next time. We're in Vegas.

Food was really good. Hit the spot. Surprised that they have a bar area. Didn't expect that when I walked in to order lunch.Ordered Mama's Fried Chicken Sandwich (5/5) and a Spacedust.Pedro was very welcoming to all the guest, as well as myself. That Southern Highlands Hospitality is what would bring me back as a regular local.

We decided to try this place after finding it on yelp. We left feeling mediocre about our experience. I'll share the pros and cons! Pros: 1. The fries were DELICIOUS. They came out right from the fryer and were seasoned so well. Whatever they use on the fries is so good. 2. We felt that everything was seasoned very nicely. 3. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful!Cons: 1. A lot of our food came out lukewarm or barely warm. We loved the flavor of the mac n cheese but by the time we got it, it was hardly warm, same with the brisket. 2. I ordered the watermelon lemonade with high hopes, but unfortunately it had a really off taste to it that tasted rotten. I couldn't drink more than two sips.

I finally decided to drive out and try this place. I came in on a Tuesday during lunch hour and the place is pretty dead. Upon walking in you are greeted with homestyle cooking smell all over - it just smelled way too good. We seated immediately and provided menus to start looking. They were about three folks working at the front plus the chef the day I walked in so they were pretty staffed. They have a very versatile menu and you can certainly find something without hesitation. They have a really good selection of appetizers and shareables, some incredible sandwich options as well as barbecue plates. I came in with a friend and we decided on the deviled eggs as that was something that seemed to be popular. We ordered it and it was not disappointing. It was good, but I did want to see a little bit more maple drizzled on it. Additionally, we had ordered the everything biscuit with honey butter, and it was definitely tasty but keep on the price at $4 for one biscuit.I ordered the original chicken sandwich with the side of fries. I can easily say this was the best chicken sandwich that I have ever had. It was seasoned to perfection and juicy on the inside but cooked thoroughly and the potato bun put it all together. When you order the side of fries, it comes with both traditional fries and sweet potato fries, in my opinion the sweet potato fries were better. My friend got the brisket grilled cheese, and I did definitely try it - that is something that I would highly recommend! They use pimento cheese and the brisket just melts into your mouth. 10/10 recommend! Pricing is pretty average for this type of place, expect to pay up to $28 for a plate. Of course, when you come to a place like this, you are expected to try their sweet tea - again it was probably the best sweet tea that I ever had. So much so that I decided to take some home. They do sell their "freshly" brewed teas take home at $15, which comes in a large glass container. Surprisingly when I went home to pour myself a cup the smell was very pungent. I was so disappointed, it was definitely way too long. It tasted just like kombucha. It was so disgusting. I was VERY disappointed that I had wasted $15 on tea that was bad. Our server was really sweet and she was very patient with us. There were times where she was a little slow to get our needs, but that's all right. Overall, my dining experience was great and I do see myself coming back here, but I definitely do not recommend taking the tea to go and spending $15 for very fermented tea. My review is as follows: - Food: 4.5/5- Service: 4/5- Ambiance 5/5

Excellent. We have been many times to both locations (now only this one) but I guess this is my first review. Ha! The fried pickles are bomb... with the dill ranch even better. The beer was nice and cold in a big frosty jar. We have tried many things on the menu, and my favorite is always the tenders. They are so big that there's always leftovers. My husband got the brisket with side off eggs and sausage. Our server was very nice and friendly. Not a huge place, but decorated very cute and bar is spacious as well.

Was craving for briskets in the afternoon between lunch and dinner, so this diner by the house opens from 8am and doesn't close in between lunch and dinner is perfect. The ribs and briskets are mediocre like any other popular spots, but their BBQ sauce, jalapeño cornbread, and fries are good. Really need to shout out to their Mac & cheese which is superb!!! The fried green beans are good, too.Very nice interior design with the booth seating and plants. Very spacious inside.

Excellent find in Enterprise outside of Vegas. I was in the mood for something more than usual since I knew I would be having a long conference week. This meal set the tone for my Vegas trip. I went straight for gold and did the chicken and waffles. Savory goodness and decadent. This is that craving I have a high demands of and it exceeded. Thank you Mama Bird, will recommend!

I've come here a couple times now for happy hour, which is between 3-5pm (I believe). You can find their menus online, including the happy hour menu. Even during these 'off hours', there have always been a few tables already seated, but we've never had a problem getting seated right away.Since my husband doesn't drink, we try to look for happy hours where there are food offerings in addition to drinks and I'm happy (no pun intended) to report that Mama Bird has a diverse menu of food options. In addition to the selection, I also really like their happy hour because the portion sizes are well worth it - no one hates it more when you go to happy hour and get like 1/4th the size of a regular order, so I'm glad this is not a 'bait and switch' place.Food-wise, I'd probably have rated this place closer to a 3.5 out of 5. So far, we've tried their brisket grilled cheese and brisket burger with the North South fries (regular + sweet potato) add-on. I love cheese as much as the next person, but it could probably be toned down a bit as I feel like it's a bit TOO decadent for me. Their brisket is also just okay despite it being a main ingredient for many dishes - it's a little dry and extremely salty, we actually had to remove most of it from our burger and enjoyed the burger a lot without. I wish the burger came with some veggies, but definitely still delicious without. We'll definitely still pop in from time to time, but can't have it too often as it's not the healthiest meal and more of a cheat-day meal.

Nice spot in a shopping center next to a grocery store. It was not busy, but it was a Thursday night. We chose it because of how many reviews it has with good ratings and it was close to our time share. The service was great and the food was delicious. We share the two breast fried chicken plate and added an extra side and biscuit. They accidentally made an extra Mac and cheese so they gave us that for free. Our other side was creamed corn. The fried chicken was delicious. Very well seasoned and crispy crust. Perfectly cooked and juicy. The creamed corn and the biscuits were fine, nothing special and the corn was a little on the salty side. The star of the show (particularly for my husband) was the Mac and cheese. Al dente noodles with a deliciously emulsified cheese sauce. We took dessert home in the cute jars they come in. my husband had the boozy butterscotch pudding and I had the red velvet cake in a jar. The pudding was very boozy and tasty. The cake was a bit dry and quite sweet. Overall a decent meal!

Our server Maddie was absolutely wonderful and recommended the best food from the menu. Coming from Houston this is the best tasting fried chicken. The ambiance was spot on. I'll be back for sure.
