While I was in North Las Vegas, I stumbled upon Maligaya Asian Market. It's slightly closer to my residence than going to the stores in Spring Mountain. Maligaya Asian Market is located at Craig road and Allen Lane. It's in a small plaza. As soon as I walked inside the store, I noticed that the inventory was scattered everywhere! Some of the merchandise was on the floor, others was stacked almost all the way to the ceiling. Nothing was organized. It was very difficult to look through all of the inventory. The owner did not greet me nor even offer to help me out. I was looking for some Original Calpicos and couldn't locate any. Their merchandise is pretty expensive compared to other marketplaces. It was a interesting experience. I don't think I'll be coming back again anytime soon.

Looking for an Asian Market, while on Craig Rd. so I would not have to drive to China town. Wanted to just check it out , and see what they had in inventory. Store is located in a shopping strip mall. Upon entry, this store is full from floor to ceiling in some areas. You have to ask the owner to look for a specific item, it to find it. Upon browsing you will notice that the prices are a lothigher. than on the other side of town. Picking up an item or two would be feasible, put you would be paying 50 percent more if doing weekly shopping!Owner not friendly or customer service oriented. Just a market that claims to carry variety of items in ethnic food products. Will not be returning!

Lol. This has to be the rudest owner of a small business in America. It's comical really. You're expecting it to be bad based on everyone's review but to actually experience how bad was funny AF. This guy picks up the phone, says yes to my question then straight up hangs up. Hahaha I was laughing so hard. I'm gonna stop by in the hopes he has what I'm looking for.

A no nonsense Filipino market. If you're looking for something to make your Filipino food and don't want to travel to Chinatown if you're on the Northside. Then I recommend this place if you're familiar with filipino people and know the culture. That's the kind of service you'll receive. The prices are higher than you would pay in Chinatown or a big chain Filipino market but for the convenience its expected.

I had read reviews before I went, and they are exactly what I experienced. The store is small there is stuff everywhere not organized at all. However, I did find what I was looking for and it is good if you are looking for certain ingredients. I walked in to a dark store the only thing lighting the store was the back door was open and I saw what appeared to be the owner sitting by it . No greeting or anything as I came through the door I walked aisle by aisle. Until finally, the phone rang after 3 rings he finally got up as I was in an aisle he passed me and said "what you want" . I did not take offense to it because I was prepared by reading the reviews. I told him what I wanted and he pointed me in the right direction I paid and left. So yeah, the owner is kind of rude but they have ingredients you wouldn't find a regular stores.

It's nice finding goodies from back on the islands here in Vegas. Reasonable prices. UFOs, bongos, twisties, Monte Carlo's, and so much more. Totally recommend.

This place is a joke. Please look for a different Asian and or oriental market place. It was very disorganized, a lot of their products were expired, and overpriced. Despite all these red flags, I was still willing to look around and see if there was anything that would catch my eye. The owner was EXTREMELY rude. Upon finding out me and my boyfriend's nationality, he continued on to tell my boyfriend that he knew that his people are good and that he couldn't say the same about "my people". He proceeded to then tell my bf "to be careful". I will NEVER be returning. The extra miles drive is worth it, if this is what you have to settle for

This was very disappointing and I have no words on how the owners can sleep at night knowing what they did was unjust and wrong. When I confronted one of the owners, she claimed that these expiration dates are legit and these were faults of their suppliers. I knew that she was just pulling my leg at this point and she claimed it was her husband that does their inventory so she will have to ask the husband. I understand we're facing hard times with inflation and basically trying to survive without going out of business. But this, no this will put you out of business because any wrongdoing comes with consequences and I only pray that they will stop doing this. If they tampered with these dates on these cookies I wonder what they do with their other products. It's a small shop and it's ridiculous how the couple each have their own prices (no price labels) each time I come buy snacks. Do the right thing and stop ripping off people on their hard earned money. If you want to try them out please be very aware of the expiry dates and the condition of each products. This place is overpriced, sells expired products and overall just be careful if you do shop here. We are living in the world where even a child knows ways of businesses and the scams they do, so it'll be a very poor decision to do what you do Maligaya owners. I pray you will do the right thing but if not well only time will tell.
