Absolutely love this gem of a brunch spot. I've been here a few times and the service is always amazing. I love that they have a full cafe and bar inside. My current favorite drink is the cafe con leche. I've had a few of their lattes which were all flavorful. I also love their empanadas, which are fried made-to-order and are always so fresh and crispy. I've had a few flavors at their sister cafe Take It Easy in Chinatown. Their breakfast empanada plate is my go-to order! It comes with 2 breakfast empanadas, spanish rice, black beans & a yummy sauce on the side. This combined with a hot drink is my ideal breakfast lol Will be back!

My wife has been here a few times and raced about the empanadas and their breakfast. So having a craving for empanadas we decided to pick up some and take them home. Usually picking up something fried wouldn't be a good idea but the empanadas held up great. Also the fact that they close at 3 meant picking them up early and reheating. I arrived and when I walked in I was greeted right away , the staff were friendly and helpful. I placed my order and probably waited 5 mins for it to be done. Everything smelled real good and I couldn't wait to dig in. After bringing home a bag of hot empanadas and having to reheat them they were perfect, still crispy and everything was yummy. If you love empanadas definitely give them a try. I will definitely be going back to try all their different offerings as well.

I'm being really tough here. Although all the food was delicious and Monique our server was OUTSTANDING, it's hard to give 5 stars. We have been here before but never wanted to wait 45 min plus to get in, so our first visit!First we got sat right away, Sunday Brunch, but the table was Soooo Wobbly I was worried it would fall over. We had hostess seat us elsewhere. (They resat that wobbly table five minutes later???)Then the tables are soooo close together that a server taking an order next to us literally had her booty almost on my tableThe noise level is really loud so hard to make conversations. As I stated our server was top-rate! The House Bloody was good, I appreciate the fresh warm Bacon placed on top not in the drink. Cold greasy Bacon would not be appealing! My wife raved about her Espresso Martini. We ordered Empanadas they are excellent. Then every bite on my plate was delicious! The Flat Iron Steak was cooked perfectly and the Chimichurri was an excellent addition. We were so full no room for desserts! This spot is a bit pricey, and my Beer was served not quite full. Again all the food was excellent. There were Managers working sling the staff and things seemed to flow fairly effortlessly.

It was my birthday and I'm very satisfied on what I got the crispy protein wrap. My mother got the breakfast empanada and my sister got the steak and eggs. Everything was good so was my drink. I tried a little bit of my sister's peach drink it looks like an alcoholic beverage, but it's not. Tasted good when I come back here again yes everybody that was very nice. and the food there was good.!

Makers & Finders is good when it's good. We used to frequent the downtown location but kind of stopped because of how far it is from us and because, while the food and drinks were still good, the last few times we were in, the service was seriously lacking. Since I missed the excellent food and coffee of Makers & Finders, we decided to finally come into this location. Maybe the service would be better here. It was not. It may have been worse. Walking in, we were seated right away but not with the other diners. We sat very close to the door, right next to the host stand, and I'm not going to lie, it felt like we were being punished. I know that's not the case and it was probably for servers and their sections but honestly, our server was with us and the section clear across the restaurant so I'm not sure what was happening. Someone with crutches came in and they were not sat as close to the door as we were, even though it was very hard for her to navigate through the tables. I did hear the manager scolding the hostess about how she was seating people so maybe that was it? Who knows. Speaking of said manager, he was super unprofessional in the fact that I could hear him speak to the hostess like that. He also spent too much time laughing and smiling with one particular server. The reason I noticed this is because we were completely forgotten about and I wanted to speak with him but he was in full evade mode. By the time someone came by to see if we had been helped (not our server, a different server in a different section just happened to notice that we had our menus for a long time, it had been 10 minutes), he finally came back to the front, so I had no complaints anymore, at least so I thought. I noticed that he warmly greeted and said goodbye to people, except for us. Are we lepers? I've heard of restaurants putting unattractive people in the back but this was ridiculous. When our server did finally show up, she was very nice. I think she may have been new? She wasn't a good server but she was a nice person. The food was just ok, but the drinks were great. This is why I give them an "ok" 3 and not a "could've been better" 2. My shorty (which I get a lot) had a lot of water and wasn't very flavorful. My husbands fries were rock hard and cold. Couldn't complain though, you can't catch a server here. Thankfully, our server did show up when we wanted to gtfo and we paid right away were were released from this circle of hell. To-go coffees are the way to go for us I guess.

If you are looking for a great brunch solo or group this is my new Local Fav! Let's get into it! Latin Local I don't normally make a post where I am specific about what items you should order on the menu but not only am I putting what the items are I'm telling you what's in them and how much they are because they are absolutely so good!!Makers & Finders is a vibrant, upbeat restaurant-coffee-bar where specialty coffee, inspired Latin food, & hospitality are the program pillars. definitely plan on waiting for a seat unless you get there early. As I went to the page, I wanted to know what's the story behind M& F and what I learned about the family makes me love it even more. "Makers & Finders is the outcome of one family's American dream. The dream began on July 27, 1984 when Omar and Martha Molina became husband and wife & immigrated from Colombia (South America) in pursuit of a better life. They arrived in NYC where they had 3 children: Stephen, Josh & Omar Jr. Through grit and perseverance they navigated their new life and moved to Las Vegas in 1998 to kick off the second wave of their American dream."there are so many great things I could say about this restaurant, but all I'm gonna say is definitely make this a Vegas favorite whether you're local or from out of town you will not be disappointed with this M F'er! EMPANADA FLIGHT 241 of each: Beef, Chicken, Queso, Shrimp, Spicy MushroomDULCE DE LECHE FRENCH TOAST 16Fresh Berries, Dulce Whip, Condensed Milk, Cajeta, Powdered Sugar, Fresh MintCHURRO WAFFLE 15Cinnamon Sugar, Caramel, Chocolate/Coconut Whip, Blueberries, Berry Compote RASPBERRY CHIA PUDDING 8Raspberry, Chia Seeds, Coconut Milk, Blueberries

After some time at the Henderson Bird Preserve, I stopped here for breakfast. It's a quick drive from the 215 exit and there is abundant parking in the shopping area where M&F is located.Having been walking in the sun for a couple of miles, I was in for some coffee that was iced. Looking at the drinks menu, I opted to try the iced Mexican spice latte. For breakfast, something different--I ordered the breakfast empanada which consists of two empanadas with potato, egg, bacon, and cheddar. This is served with rice and black beans topped with queso fresco. There was a small cup of house sauce with the empanadas. The iced latte tasted very good but I didn't perceive very much flavor from the 5 spice house syrup along with the abueltia chocolate. There was flavor so it wasn't just a plain latte, but it needed more flavoring. The empanadas were good. Nicely browned, flaky edges, and stuffed with the ingredients mentioned above. The most noticeable ingredient was the potato. The house sauce served with the empanadas was excellent. It gave some flavor to the potato stuffed empanadas. There was no hint of bacon at all. Tjhe black beans with some queso fresco were OK. Service was excellent. My server was around while I was there to check on me and she was a very pleasant woman.M&F is worth a stop. Since there is another one much closer to me, I'll stop in to try something else from the menu.

Personally, great place for small bites/coffee, but not really a good choice for a full sit down breakfast. First of all: Skip the bottomless mimosas. 90 minute time limit, however it takes over 15 minutes to get your next one even if you drink it right away since they don't give you the bottle, they bring them one by one. They also don't allow you to place more than one order to combat how long it takes for the drinks to come to the table. By the time we finished our food, the second drink STILL never came. Could hardly call this bottomless. Service: The service was good but super slow. We asked for napkins but they never came. And again, the drink service was basically non existent. It was not the server's fault tho, as we noticed she was basically the ONLY server for the whole place even though it was a full house. We saw her serving on the outside as well. Not sure if it's always like this, but it seemed very unfair for her. She was nice, but because it was so busy we never saw her and things got missed. Food:Portions are small, but the food was high quality and flavorful. Everything had great presentation as well. It was hard to choose because everything on the menu seemed good!We ordered:La Paisa Arepa: 4/5, There was more short rib than anything else on the plate, and it was very tender! The rice/beans that came with were really tasty too Latin Skillet: 4/5, small but tasty Yuca frites: good portion, crunchy outside and soft inside. The sauce that came with was super good too. Horchai: 5/5, perfect blend of chai/horchata! Bon bon latte: 3/5 for taste

Hipster ambiance with good food!!! They have a variety of options, mostly with Latin flare. We ordered the breakfast burger with a short rib empanada and yuca fries. Everything was of great quality, nothing messy or greasy. We ordered cafe con leche that was not too sweet and a flat white. Our friends ordered the cheese danish, chilaquiles and steak salad that they enjoyed. The service was very timely, shout out to Monique! She was constantly checking in on us and ready to get us anything we needed. Excited to come back!

ATTENTION: DO NOT GIVE MAKERS AND FINDERS YOUR BUSINESS UNLESS YOU ARE AN OVERT RACIST AND PROUD OF IT.The manager of Makers Henderson, Bobby, referred to my Mexican wife as a "fucking dog" on February 28th. She gave her the absolute worst seat in the house when she went in looking fodonga and when I came in Lilly white in a dress shirt she treated us like we were royalty. The barista working clearly overheard and was shocked as well as I. Because I am a calm person I did not react in the moment, however I am currently pursuing formal sanctions against Makers due to this incident. Please do not support Makers and Finders Henderson in any capacity unless you are proud to support overt racism and classism. Edgar at Makers Downtown and the employees of Makers Henderson are not complicit, only Bobby, the manager of Makers Henderson. The CEO of Makers, Josh Molina, is complicit, as he has ignored 3 separate emails and calls attempting to handle this matter amicably. Thank you for your time reading this, have a good day.
