Earlier this month, I saw one of my top three favorite musicals, Cabaret. It was an excellent production and a powerful message.Tickets are reasonably priced and well worth it. Go see this show before it's gone on March 9th.

We didn't know what to expect. After all, Cabaret is an incredible musical. But we were drawn to watch it, and chose tickets that guaranteed us two tables for a couple, right by the stage. When we walked in, the place was decked out like the Kit Kat Club. We knew then that we are in for a treat. And what a show it was! They totally pulled it off even with hardly any props, just costume changes. Terrific dancing, acting, music. We went to an early show to secure parking which is always challenging at the Arts District. Best to give yourself lots of time. Maybe stop at one of the nearby places to get something to eat and drink, especially since all they serve at the theater are canned drinks --- including the wine! But we didn't mind it at all. The show was excellent, and that's all that mattered. We weren't quite enamored with their version of Emma....but we enjoyed Cabaret so much that we're looking forward to future shows. Bravo!

Oh my gosh, I just can't say enough good things about this theatre! They're located right on Main St in the hub of the Arts District, Vegas' coolest neighborhood. This place has been keeping culture alive downtown for years - they've put on so many incredible productions, and the direction and casts are always amazing.I'd been to a number of productions but recently took my team of 11 people for an experience there, and everyone absolutely LOVED it!If you're visitor and want to check out the heartbeat of the Vegas downtown community, the Arts District is it! It's the only walkable non-tourist trap area in the city, chock full of very cool shopping, coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants. Seriously, don't miss treating yourself to a show here. If you're local, you already know!

I saw a great production of Cabaret and it's a very smart production, utilizing the intimate setting and small space to the best of its ability. Apart from amazing cast and production teams, this local theater spot is a great spot to check out whatever production they have going. They also have a dry bar and some concessions but don't expect a full service bar, which is not a negative at all as it creates a more intimate and personal audience experience. The seats are comfortable enough for a long show and the acoustics and lighting are nice touches without being claustrophobic. The only downside is that there isn't a restroom available on site (closest one would be the bars around) so plan accordingly before showtime.

Support local theater! Saw Cabaret last night and it was fantastic. The venue decor made me feel like I was really in the Kit Kat Club. There were 2 person tables with candles around the stage and a live orchestra behind a sheer curtain. The performers were great! Totally immersive. The production was powerful, poignant, topical, heartbreaking, and entertaining. This was a quality show. Highly recommend!

Do you love theater? If your answer is yes, then you will this place as charming as I did. They sell little snacks and beverages before heading in. It was decorated in a way I felt was so charming and drew me in. The staff were helpful! It is a small theater, so keep that in mind if you're trying to get a group together. But honestly go support local theater!

If you want to laugh for 2 hours and be completely entertained, then I would highly recommend to see Scream"d. The theatre itself is designed to immerse the audience in the performance and there is not a bad seat in the house. VIP table seating is available on floor level for a higher price, with the alternative for multilevel seating that overlooks the floor area. This musical parody follows the first Scream movie closely and the actors were amazing! We took our 12 yr old and we felt she was mature enough for the content and capable to that of the actual movie. There was a short intermission to allow for bathroom breaks, but get in line if you need to go! There is only one single room bathroom and there host will close off the line to allow the show to restart. We were a bit worried about parking in the downtown area, but found an area just behind the theatre (everything is paid parking in this area) which was convenient enough to walk around the side and to the front entrance. We arrived about 45 min prior to start time to get in line since we were in the general seating population, happened to be the first in line with this timeline. They don't open the door too early, maybe just about 30 min before showtime. They offer snacks and drinks for purchase, but the area also has plenty of food spots to check out either before or after the show!Book your ticket now and have fun!

Support local theater!!!With an abundance of shows on the strip and the Smith Center right around the corner, it's easy to forget that we have a local theater scene here in Vegas. The amount of talent in this city is outrageous and I'm so glad the Majestic is here to feature local actors, directors, writers, designers and musicians. More times than not I've seen shows that feature all female musicians which is amazing. I love the vip cabaret seating, and the beer options for refreshments is wonderfully diverse.

Majestic is amazing at doing shows that span so many different genres that someone is bound to find at least one show they will love! I would say take a chance and support live theatre. This theatre is a hidden gem and you need to get down there!I have been coming here since I believe "Green Day's American Idiot" Musical. I have seen "Manson Family Opera", "Sweeney Todd", "Dismayland" but I will say "Treasure Island" was the first one I saw twice! Every show is unique and so different from the other. In such a small space they do an excellent job transforming the audience into the story. It never feels too crowded to me and the staff is always very welcoming.Just be sure to check the show they are doing before you decide to go. One week it could be a comedy and the next it could be horror or maybe even a mix of both. You never know!
