Although many small business owners dislike Yelp! the fact remains that there is no more powerful search engine for Restaurants and on Saturday it was by accident that Lulu's Bakery was discovered via the App, a quick drive down Jones finding the small space selling Chicharrones and made-to-order Tacos plus a limited collection of Cakes and Pan Dulce.Family owned and operated with a promise that everything including Carne Asada Fries are scratch-made on site, the clerk a pleasant gentleman who explained that Cakes including Tres Leches require pre-order, it was turning attention to several racks that six Breads were selected for $3.90, their consumption undertaken elsewhere though Lulu's does offer limited seating for those who wish to dine in.Certainly not as wide-ranging as Vegas Bakery, Cake World or Gama, though still covering the classics plus a few novelties, it was beginning with a Sprinkle Cookie that Lulu's base was found to be softer and less granular than the competition while a follow-up length of Bread streaked Pink like Nino Envuelto fell short of expectations as a result of eating more like Biscotti than Cake.Continuing with Fruit, the "YoYo" or Besos reference standard thanks to plenty of Jelly and shredded Coconut surrounding both sides, it was in further evidence of Lulu's quality that two styles of Concha including one shaped like a turtle were soft and fluffy beneath crumbly Sugar while a Scone-like lump topped in Dark Chocolate also stood out thanks to plenty of Butter and a hint of Cinnamon.THREE STARS: A bit too limited to compete head-to-head with other Mexican Bakeries Lulu's still does a good job with what they sell and represent a worthwhile stop for those who live nearby or frequent the area.

Hands down the best place to go for authentic MADE TO ORDER Mexican food. Everything is fresh and the selection from the bakery is amazing. Carne asada fries, nachos, and tacos are my favorite dishes here and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. If u want fresh food this is little hidden gem you have been looking for. I've also ordered cakes for weddings, baby showers, and birthdays from here and they never disappoint. Great prices.

I ordered cake over the phone from for my sisters graduation in Las Vegas and Alfredo was so kind and helpful throughout the process. Not only was I happy with how it looked, but it was delicious! I will definitely order with them in the future!

Lulu's was an excellent experience ordering a cake for my husband, I wanted something small just for us, had a specific simple design in mind based on a videogame he likes. Alfredo was quick to respond, very accommodating, gave a quote and was happy to have it ready in two days when I expected most places to say they couldn't manage in that time frame. Cake was ready and waiting at the time I said I would be there, on top of that it was delicious and fresh (and we had it the next day so that's saying something). He was pretty flexible with the cake batter flavor and the filling flavor too; didn't realize how many options I had including with fresh fruit! I got a vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and cream as the filling. And the cake was covered in yummy buttercream not fondant which was excellent too! Overall, great experience working with them, can't thank Alfredo enough and they have a customer for life!

By far my favorite bakery, this is my go to whenever I need anything cake or pastry related. Excellent customer service and amazing cakes where you can taste and see the quality. They also have authentic Mexican food that's super yummy if you have time to stop in and sit down for lunch.
