LULU Hawaiian BBQ 2

Had to stop at Lulu hawaiian bbq on the way out of town.. I haven't had the opportunity to come back here due to timing. Now I remember what I've missed. I ordered the short rib plate, The short ribs comes over a bed of cooked crunchy cabbage and two scoops of fantastic rice, their rice is great and the macaroni salad comes in a separate container so it doesn't get hot from the cooked rice and short ribs. I would recommend you bring your own utensils, theirs are pretty flimsy, or eat using your hands like I normally do for short ribs.One thing I've noticed is their portion size, they do not skimp. You receive great value for their price which I feel is quite reasonable.How about that great food at a great value, what a novel concept.

Wow, what a gem! So nice to see a low carb option at a Hawaiian bbq place The service was very quick and courteous! So nice and the portions were HUGE! Not to mention the food was very delicious and one plate is totally shareable between two people. My plate will last me at least two meals. Can you seriously get a big plate of Hawaiian bbq chicken, bbq beef, AND kalbi and two eggs for under $12 anywhere else?! I hope everyone comes here and recognizes how great it is. Great value, good food, nice people. I love hole-in-the-wall spots like this.

Ordered meal though UBER EATS: Ordered the garlic shrimp plate and malasadas through Uber eats (haven't visited restaurant yet). I did receive my order quickly, nicely packaged, and correct which is important! The garlic shrimp was "okay", I think I was expecting it to be more like garlic shrimp in hawaii. Portion was ok as well and shrimp tasted fresh. The malasadas were delicious! They were warm upon delivery so it was perfect! I will be trying more times from the menu!

Ordered from Lulu Hawaiian BBQ thru Postmates. Food was made quickly and delivered quick as well.I got the katsu curry bowl & a honey katsu musubi and it was okay. I wish there was more curry sauce. The katsu itself was yummy. We also ordered the regular katsu plate and that katsu was yummy as well. Overall, it was okay. The pricing isn't too bad compared to other Hawaiian joints like L&L or Aloha Kitchen.

Are you a fan of Masubi? They have spam Masubi, Chicken Masubi and Chicken Casu Masubi. Good eating. Also Menu is easy. They even have pictures on the wall :)Right in the same area where Smiths is located. When getting off work and don't feel like getting a meal prepared at home. This would be a good spot to be:)I just can't stop coming over here I keep getting the Chicken Musubi lol!!

One of my go too places that is close and is great comfort food!Great workers always very courteous and kind, food is priced well and also is close to the same from home (Hawaii) with the exception of being about $6-$8 cheaper!

Man this place is disappointing. Crab Rangoon order of 6 is just shameless. No filling just fried wonton triangles. See the pictures. And when I went to grab my food, the restaurant had a strong smell of sewer. Sad. Won't be coming back.

Outstanding food. MASSIVE portions. The mixed plates are over 2 pounds. It is a great deal for the amount of food. And it is delicious, Mac salad is on point. The short ribs were flavorful and tender, as was the chicken. We also got the beef lumpia which was good, not spectacular but good. My daughter got the spam saimin, which she loved. Overall, a great experience and superior value for the money.

Great food for a solid price. You can feed two people off of one plate for sure. The ribs we chefs kiss!
