What an amazing find! This is a gem of an Italian place in a town filled with food options. I had heard of this place through a few different ways, so I decided I had to check it out. My husband and I had a staycation this weekend and it was on the top of my list so I made a reservation for Saturday night at 6:30. When we got there for a reservation there was sign saying reservations only, walking in I could see why. This is a very small restaurant that had about 8 tables that they were serving. We were greeted right away and shown to a table that was all set up for us. We ordered the calamari as a starter and I got the lobster raviolis and my husband got the veal Francese. While waiting for our apps we got bread and pesto, the bread was warm and delicious and the pesto had a great garlic kick to it. The calamari was lightly battered with great flavor and perfectly cooked. The marinara sauce was so good. When the entrees came they were mouthwatering. Their portions are big, so you definitely don't go hungry. The lobster raviolis were amazing. The ravioli dough was light and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. I was surprised about the amount of lobster that was in the raviolis and also in the sauce. It was delicious. The lobster was tender and with the sauce, heavenly. The Veal Francese was fantastic. I am not a veal fan but it was tender and the egg wash on it added a different texture. The lemon in the wine sauce came through very nicely, adding some acidity to the dish. The veggies that came with it were served on the side. They were well cooked and added some lightness to the dish. This place is absolutely amazing. I think I have found my favorite Italian place in Las Vegas. Adding to the great quality of the food is the fact that everything is well priced. While they don't serve alcohol here you are able to bring bottles of wine if you wish. If you want some great and comforting Italian food look no further.

Service was mediocre, server was in grey baggy sweat pants and a SpongeBob sleeping shirt, and an apron. Other server was again in grey sweatpants, a Popeye shirt and semi dirty apron. I see a lot of people enjoy this restaurant but I didn't understand why once the food began coming out. The marina was a bright orange color and severely lacked flavor. Chicken parm was soggy, rigatoni wasn't cooked all of the way through which made it a bit chewy and toothy.I'm a huge salad eater and only ate about half of the salad. It was kinda of blah. Server never came around to ask how anything was.We tried something different and won't be returning. I cannot understand why people love this restaurant so much. I wish when places are busy, and definitely make money due to being but and the prices they charge that they would put more care and attention into the building and decor.

I almost don't wanna write this review because I'd like to keep this place as my tiny little secret. The food was amazing! The prices are almost too reasonable! The hubs had the seafood pasta (lots of seafood) and he loved it. I had the meat lasagna and I'd have to say it's one of the best I've had in Vegas. They bring you bread and a yummy garlicky dip to start which was a nice surprise. The food was SO good. I can't wait to go back and try something else. Located in a little strip mall just off Boulder Highway. Seems like the boonies to me where I live completely across town but the freeway is a couple minutes away so don't fret! The service was fast and so friendly. Almost like you are eating at your best friend's house!

I was looking for a top spot for Meatballs and Spaghetti. So, I inserted "Best Meatballs and Spaghetti" on Yelp , and its search engine spat out one name: Los Olivos Ristorante. After seeing that this restaurant has a five-star overall rating on over 500 reviews, and reading several Yelp reviews, including two that said the food here was the best Italian food they ever tasted, I decided to see for myself, with Diane in tow. Now, after experiencing a few dishes, I can say that I don't disagree. My entree of Meatballs and Spaghetti was among the best I have eaten to date, and my bowl of very hot Tomato Basil Soup was clearly the finest I have consumed. Not far behind were the golden and delicate Calamari Fritti accompanied by a mild Marinara Sauce and a requested Garlic Oil Dip, and a large Caesar Salad with numerous fresh Romaine leaves, bits of cheese, four requested Brown Anchovies, and a vibrant creamy Caesar Dressing. Complimentary Bread shaped like half-torpedoes was very tasty slathered with butter or dipped in a Tapenade seasoned with Basil and Rosemary. And Diane was very pleased with her Lobster Ravioli bathed in a delightful Cream Sauce. All food was served on white ceramic plates. We both thought we would return home with no leftovers. But we were wrong. After I read that the two meatballs weighed 8 ounces each, and finished one of them, I knew it would be foolish for me to try to continue eating the remaining half of my main, especially considering that plenty of spaghetti and Marinara Sauce still remained on the plate. I had ordered the dish with extra sauce. So, I stopped eating, and so did Diane. What was left made a great lunch for me the next day. And Diane did not regret bringing part of her Lobster Ravioli home.Besides superb cooking, our server, Irma, was very responsive to our requests, and even anticipated needs for more Iced Tea or water. Some voices at other tables were loud in the small dining room, but we soon adjusted to the noise level. Since there are only about nine tables available, advance reservations are required. I successfully made mine for a Saturday night via telephone just two days ahead, so don't lose hope in securing one.The chef/owner came out when there was a lull in preparing orders, to greet us and other diners, and see how we liked the food. Then he asked us to come back. We already have a return visit planned!

Long overdue review, but better late than never. Los Olivos Ristorante is a hidden Vegas gem. The location may be a little rough on the outside, but the service and food inside more than make up for it. Their excellent ratings only solidify this reason.I actually had my birthday dinner here late last year with a group of friends. It's recommended you call in advance for reservations since there are only about 8 or so tables. We had taken up more than half the restaurant that night, rolling with a crew of fifteen. Operation birthday pasta in full effect. And yes, it's the truest definition of a mom and pop shop -- Albino, is the owner/chef while his wife, Irma, is the server. Their son also helps run food and fill drinks. Organized, responsive, and friendly service. Our tables were put together and complimentary bread with pesto sauce was served. My friends had brought some wine, which is one of the great perks to this restaurant (since they don't serve alcohol, there is no corkage fee yay). Wine glasses are also conveniently provided. The LOS OLIVOS SALAD ($8) is totally shareable. I'm a sucker for seafood, so the CALAMARI FRITA ($15) is definitely my appetizer recommendation. I chose the LOBSTER RAVIOLI ($24) for my entree, which was the hit of the night, since 6 other friends also chose the same. It comes plated with 6 pieces, decadent cream sauce, and it was simply fabulous. Prices are super affordable as you can tell for Italian cuisine. We had a fun evening. None of my friends have been prior, and so it was nice to be able to share and experience this restaurant together. We'll be back, thank you!

ALBINO the Chef owner (who once worked at Caesar's Palace ) and his lovely wife IRMA take pride In lovingly preparing and serving high quality Italian food in this unassuming neighborhood mom a pop BEST OF LAS VEGAS hidden gem restaurant. The two extra large CRAB CAKES were loaded with high quality lump crab, $16. The CIOPPINO beautifully displayed an abundance of fresh seafood and bursting with flavor, $24. The LOBSTER RAVIOLI were stuffed plump with real lobster meat, the sauce rich and creamy divine, $24. Did I say LARGE PORTIONS! Also delicious was the free hot BREAD STICKS marriage with HOME MADE PESTO. You can taste the Chefs Pride in every dish. This restaurant is a MUST TRY, but don't forget they only have a few tables and its RESERVATIONS ONLY!
