Just... WOW!I am still rather flummoxed by the experience here. With a simplified menu on cardboard, there is a good range of options, yet with a lot of mystery. I started tame, with a black walnut Manhattan. Delicious. We then did "Horseradish" shots. Their shots all come with the shot and a chaser. Horseradish vodka, chased with a tomato water. Incredible! Next, a Gin Vindaloo. How they packed such layers of flavor and intensity into both the curry shot and accompanying mango lassi chaser, I am clueless. To summarize, it's a quirky bar that is more a craft kitchen where they make all their infusions and mixers fresh, from scratch. Part kitchen, part mad scientist's lab where really astounding cocktails are born. The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining the menu in more detail and making recommendations. There is some really groundbreaking stuff going on here, so if you enjoy a good cocktail and are feeling a bit adventurous, you must go.

I've been here since last year every time I visit Las Vegas. Definitely a fun vibe visiting this place. Parking is a bit limited but I've been ubering/lyfting here so it's never been an issue for me getting here. The two times I've been here, I've been coming here 30 mins early but there isn't a wait time thankfully and it starts to get crowded probably 30 mins after open. I've came here on weekends and it's surprisingly not busy but could be cause this place seems to be more than locals now than tourists. Now when it comes to the inside, it's pretty small but still had a great vibe when it comes to the bar and with the tables they have. The drinks they have are also really good too, they have never ceased to impress me! They got a bunch of shot drinks too and their non-alcoholic drinks are pretty affordable too! Some of the drinks are pretty strong with the alcohol so if you like some strong alcohol, I'd say try out this place!I would definitely recommend trying out this place if you want a good vibe and you want some good cocktails drinks.

With Downtown Las Vegas and the Arts District really on the up and up, this speakeasy is a great standout. It is a search for the door as they don't have any signs or instructions how to find and enter, but it is part of the pull. The drinks are high shelf and refined so there's really no wrong choice as far as the menu goes. Plus the staff have great recommendations and really know their menu and drinks so ask them and trust their word. The space isn't all that large but they have seatings available to large parties with long tables and couches. It's a garage hang out lowkey vibe so very casual and chill.

Great vibes! Creative & quality drinks! Service was friendly. Ordered the horchata reposada, which was creamy and had the rice flavor shine through. Pineapple averna brulee was delicious as well! Loved how both drinks were sweet but not too sweet. Can't wait to return to try more of their creations.

Stumbled on this gem after a punk rock mosh Nextdoor. The best cocktails I have had in a while. I highly recommend the yuzu shots they are fantastic. Had the mezcal negroni, brûlée, chocolate banana bread, and some yuzu shots. Such a cool laidback spot. The service here was 10/10. Now every time we are in Vegas we will make it a point to stop at liquid diet.

This is a place that we frequent on most weekends. They make some amazing craft cocktails with kitchen prepared ingredients. They pay attention to detail. We always come at night and there is usually no food so I'm not sure if they have any during the day. The place feels like an underground lab or kitchen. I highly recommend this spot. Definitely order the tequila verdita shots which is a shot with a chaser made of pineapple cilantro juice. My other favorite drinks here are the key lime pandam which is really yummy and not too sweet but tastes like the dessert. Another must try is the pico de gallo michelada which will blow your mind. Unfortunately the last time we went they were all sold out for the day for that drink.

It has a funky vibe and rad bartenders. The drinks are always unique and tasty. Everytime I've been here, there has been some new concoctions on the menu. The vibe is very chill too. They do not have food, but I've seen food trucks out in the back alley on the weekends. It's also near restaurants in the arts district. But I highly recommend this place for drinks and vibes.

After a long week, the wife and I and a couple of other friends checked out Liquid Diet on a Friday night for some much-needed cocktails and were blown away by their creative concoctions. Liquid Diet had been on our to-do list since its opening, but our motivation reached critical mass once it was named one of Esquire's Best Bars of 2024. While not another speakeasy (thank God), Liquid Diet was without signage, tucked away in an alley in the Arts District, and easy to miss if you weren't looking for it. Once inside, it looked like a mashup between a professional restaurant kitchen and a mad scientist's lab that reminded me more than a little of the since-closed, iconic, NYC bar, Booker and Dax in both aesthetic and cocktails. Mind you, my one visit to Booker and Dax was over 10 years ago at the end of long night of food and drink so forgive me if my recollection is faulty. The two bartenders who took care of our group at the bar were friendly and helpful in describing Liquid Diet's drink lineup and explaining some of the method to their madness. Between the four of us in our party, we ordered pretty much every alcoholic drink and shot on their menu sharing sips off each other's drink. As a result, I had a fairly comprehensive sampling of most of Liquid Diet's offerings. While I usually favor whiskey-based cocktails, Liquid Diet's creativity and skill were truly put on display with their drinks utilizing other base spirits. In a night full of home runs, the Pandan Key Lime Pie and Pico de Gallo Michelada were my favorites of the night. There's no shortage of good places in Las Vegas to go for a cocktail. However, the list of GREAT places for a well-made, inspired, drink is much, much shorter. Add Liquid Diet to that very short list. I can't wait to get back there.
