Las Vegas Showgirl Museum

What a rare privilege to visit this amazing collection of Las Vegas Showgirl costumes, jewelry and accessories. This is truly like stepping back in time to the glory days of Showgirl reviews in Sin City. Located in the massive luxury home of veteran fashion designer Grant Philipo, this is a MUST SEE museum. It is impossible to convey the depth and details of this collection without seeing them in person. No other venue in Las Vegas recalls the mystique and splendor of the "Rat Pack" years. This is like the "Mob Museum" for fashionistas. Just go; trust me, you will be absolutely BLOWN AWAY!

A hidden gem! Highly recommend this museum and tour. Grant gives visitors a personal and in-depth tour. We got a private tour with our party of six. We learned so much about the Vegas showgirl and showboy and enjoyed the room after room of amazing costumes and dresses. This is a must see for any Vegas enthusiast. Allow at least two hours if not more to really dig it. Amazing collection!

One of the most fun things to do in Vegas. You get a custom tour by Grant Philipo himself and his stories will definitely entertain, especially the more risque ones. I went with my girl gang for my 60th birthday upon recommendation of my sister. This place is an explosion of color, feathers, and rhinestones. I could have stayed in there all day and still not see everything. Trust me, the more you let Grant tell you about showgirl/boy life, the more entertained you will be. The more time you allow yourself, the better. I look forward to visiting again when he finds the location of his dreams to display every single piece of his collection.

Still dazzled from our tour of Grant Philipo's Las Vegas Showgirl Museum, which is housed in a private mansion on the east side of town. Grant, a veteran show boy, producer, costume designer and show producer, is a masterful storyteller who guides you through two exclusive and eye-popping floors embodying the history of Vegas showgirl (and showboy) costumes, plus showbiz ensembles from TV shows and films. What the world needs now is more fantasy and glamour--more sequins, rhinestones, and feathers--and it's all here. It's definitely one of our best museum experiences ever. We thank you Grant for your warmth, wit, and wisdom.

There' s a lot to do in Las Vegas, and I visit often from L.A., but this is the BEST thing I've ever seen! Grant has artifacts and knowledge that can't be matched about the history of the city and this very Las Vegas-specific source of entertainment. You MUST see this and support the establishment of a musuem large enough to showcase this priceless collection! Grant - thank you so much for the incredible experience!

The breadth and depth of the collection is awesome and the curator, Grant Philipo, has an insider's knowledge of the collection and the history of the showgirls, and showboys, of Las Vegas. So many beautiful costumes, photos and other artifacts!
