Las Gidi- Nigerian/African Foods

I placed an order through Grubhub. I attempted to order through Uber eats, but unfortunately, many of the options are not set up correctly, making the items cost double the price (sometimes $40 for one item)I would recommend going in and fixing that, because I'm sure it takes away some of your business.I ordered egusi & Ofada. After the courier left the restaurant, they told me that one item was unavailable. I would think that I would of gotten a call from either the courier or the restaurant asking if I would like a substitution. Now I have to go through a long process to get a refund for an item I didn't receive, because things weren't taken care of on their end. I've had missing items before, and it can be cancelled by the restaurant. So they still got their money, knowing they weren't giving me the food The egusi arrived. I asked for assorted meat and got just beef which i couldn't eat, not because the quality, but because I was sick for a couple days and Was severely dehydrated so it is too hard on my palate to swallow. I would of been happy with chicken or fish, even happier if I got a call asking for my preference for the food I had to pay for. I really needed the protein, but I simply couldn't eat it. The egusi itself was good! The pounded yam didn't Hold together well, unfortunately.I usually eat at another restaurant, but I really wanted to try their food and leave a positive review. But unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience. I may give them another chance by calling in and ordering for pick up.

I ordered the food for delivery.It took over an hour and a half to deliver and they didn't have some of the stuff showed on the menu. When the food arrived , every dish we ordered was very salty.What's worse was how expensive it was,thoroughly disappointing I would definitely not recommend and don't plan on ordering anything else from Las Gidi-Nigerian/african foods

Best I've had hands down ...my kids love this place EGUSI and OKRA Soup is the best can't wait to try everything else on the menu

So this is my first time trying Nigerian food and let me just say I am shocked on how delicious and flavorful it was. We ordered this twice this week it's just so much flavor on your tongue . The customer service was amazing told him this was my first time and then second time ordering he remembered me. I will continue to try everything on the menu super excited for the other dishes. I will be definitely be sending friends and family your way thank you. Wish I could give 0 stars ... They cook food out of their house , do not have a real business address and when you order over the phone they send you to a secondary location, very odd they expect you to pay upfront over zelle before you even receive your food that you have to pick up on your own , then get very unprofessional and rude when you ask questions , , never ordered because the whole business is a mess and unorganized. Also told me I was "irritating" and "He don't have time for this" .. also kept telling me if I don't wanna pay upfront to order thru Grubhub but I looked and can't even find them on Grubhub

We waited an hour for our food. It is someone's house, terrible ambiance. They basically live a the STORE, it's weird. They were also very rude after we asked for how long more we'd had to wait, he responded and said "don't stress me"um? Stress you cuz we ordered food? Ok lol. Their kids were walking around butt naked. Quiet disgusting.

I recently hosted a destination birthday celebration for my sister in Las Vegas. One of our events was a brunch where I combined typical American breakfast foods with Nigerian-styled breakfast foods. This was a faith walk for me! Because again this was a destination event - and I am not an expert on Nigerian cuisine. But What a success it was! Ike, the proprietor, really delivered. There was silence at the table as people ate - I literally had to slip away and quietly call him to express my gratitude for preparing a flawless meal. It was correctly flavorful and authentic; my guests were quite happy. Thank you so much Mr. Ike for making that event even more special. If you're craving a taste of exquisite African cuisine do not hesitate to look elsewhere. Jollof rice and turkey, plantain not included but says it should come with the meal. Sad because I am hungry and tried to patronize the nearest African restaurant via Uber eats and this is the thanks I get lol!? Should've just ordered Panda Express smh. 0.2/10

It stinks there. I don't know if that person is the boss or an employee. Very rude. I don't know why they can open a shop in such a bad environment. Don't go there. It's disgusting.don't waste your time and money

The egusi is a bit salty and there is not enough greens. The fufu is good but the presentation is poor he could have wrapped it in the plastic. There is only one man working in the kitchen so wait time is 30min-1hour. Do not expect to be sitting down because the location is a KITCHEN and u will not get past the door. Overall the Egusi was okay and the fufu was okay. The customer service was okay, no Hospitality. I will not go back , total is $27 for bad Service, no place to sit, long wait, and mediocre food. I know the man who made my food is passionate and I wish him the best but I must give an honest review so he can learn the truth. Get some help in that kitchen.
