Larry's Great Western Meats

My wife and I live on the opposite side of the valley so I don't shop there but, while running errands stopped to get some gas and Larry's is right next door.I told my wife I had been wanting to go to a stand alone butcher shop because the grocery stores are hit and miss and expensive. She said she would go check it out and I could meet her there to pick out the roast.Well, she was in and out extremely fast and got a decent roast at a decent price (Not cheap but not too expensive).Man we cooked it up and it was delicious. Tasted flavorful and juicy. Best roast I've had in a long time. We had lots left over and I had roast beef sandwiches for a couple days. I just wish they were closer!

had an awful experience at this place. First of all, the meat absolutely stinks--the smell hit me as soon as I walked in, and it was enough to make me question how fresh or clean anything is. On top of that, the customer service was incredibly rude. When I asked a simple question, I was met with attitude and eye-rolling, as if helping customers was an inconvenience.To top it all off, the owner had a cat inside the store! I love animals, but having one in a place where food is being handled is completely unprofessional and unsanitary. It made me question the hygiene standards here even more.Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. This place is a complete mess.

My place to go for bone marrow, rib eye, and filet steaks.So many selections of meats. They also run some specials often. Great service everything. The store is nice and clean. Check them out for all your BBQ and special day grilling!

I have been passing this place forever so I said one day I'll stop in glad I did the staff was very friendly and helpful and the abundance of food choices the place was very clean because I do a lot of observing I was looking for Turkey wings and I am so glad I was able to find them there.

Walked in, then walked right back out..Not sure what was going on, maybe it was an off day. The meat in the case was dry, looked like it had been sitting longer than it should. Nothing in the cases looked fresh to be honest..got in my car and went to Sprouts. Sucks because I wanted to support a local shop.

I support family family-owned small businesses. Larry great Western Meats has provided great service and has even shown empathy. I buy my Labrador his Raw Diet and bones all the time, been a customer for over 3 years when I made the switch and saw amazing results with my 2 Labs and Pomeranian. Thank you.

You will not find a finer butcher in Las Vegas. Some may have hipster vibe or a a bunch or trendy make believe over priced and wasteful cuts, but a better butcher they are not.LGWM has incredibly knowledgeable staff that greats you, serves you, and thanks you, all with a friendly attitude and a real smile, not the used car salesman one. You will not find a overpriced red blend that has heat cycled ten times or a ornamental cutting board made out of pallets. I don't think they even have aaron franklins book.What they do have is one of the finest del Monico's you'll find on this coast, spinalis dorsi, picanha, teres major, and if you don't see what you want, they'll break down something for you. I don't even live in Nevada, but once a week, when I drive through on the way home to Ca., I stop in.

Larry's is one of my favorite butchers in vegas The staff is always friendly. it's refreshing speaking to people who know about meat and can give good suggestions, i tell everyone i know to come here!

I walked in everybody greeted me, it smelt and looked clean, and the ribeyes cook up great!

Well .. really wanted to write a glowing review.Clean facility from 'this side' of the display casesTons of items to choose from - chicken, pork, beef. Huge selection of cuts.Frozen and Fresh.Picked up a 3# standing rib roast. HUGE fat cover but very little marble.The one very important thing I neglected to ask was for the grade of beef.Glad this was not being served to guests as husb and I ate only the cap end - the rest was so tough - seemed like Choice grade at best.Nice people working there tho.
